Well that was fast. Identify a suspect, find him, arrest him, and charge him all in a little over 72hrs after the crime. And then the Chief gives a prompt PC and thanks everyone else instead of standing up there and patting himself on the back. Well done, Mandan PD.

I could not agree more.
The Chief was very impressive at that press conference.
He comported himself well and presented information clearly and concisely.

Job well done by LE here to apprehend this guy quickly.

Person of Interest Detained in RJR Quadruple Homicides

Person who was detained lives at an rjr property, an RV park in Washburn.

I was imagining a renter who was being evicted for lack of payments. A down-on-his-luck person about to become homeless and enraged by it. (not saying all evicted or homeless persons are murderous)
But ... a health professional with a private practice. Was it thriving ?
Will go sleuth some more.

Locals are saying yes. And that some of them had appts with him that same day - went to work after the murders.

Well, I was thinking surprising, but this just takes the cake. (The nerd in me came out). He must’ve had some grandiose thinking and ideas, but got caught anyway. This is by far the oddest situation to be the outcome.

At 7:29 am, Mandan Police responded to a call at RJR Maintenance and Management. The victims had suffered stab wounds and or gunshot wounds. Many hours of video hours of surveillance were reviewed, which led to a suspects vehicle.

Thursday a search warrant was executed on the vehicle, and evidence discovered on Isaak and in the vehicle led to probable cause for his arrest. McLean County deputies pulled over Issak during a traffic stop.

I thought of that too. Especially thinking about what kind of salary a chiropractor potentially brings in. Would they really live in a trailer park? However, Washburn is a very small town, and this guy is all that comes up on a search...

Yeah, that's just completely freaky !
My guess is a long-standing complaint about the property he was renting from them ? Or had he purchased a condo from RJR ?
Someone w/the username "wicked wolf" posted scathing reviews about their property practices.
