Whew! Back down to tornado watch until 4:00 a.m. and severe thunderstorm warning until midnight.

Possible two funnels spotted. They showed a photo, and if that wasn't a funnel, then I'm a munchkin. Lots of spectacular lightning. Some power outages. Internet went out as soon as the tornado warning came on. Urging people to check for damage now that the warning is over.

My dog was shaking like a leaf...that told me all I needed to know! lol

Well don't we have a pretty little weather map...not :(

Under a tornado watch until 9:00 p.m.

Under flash flood watch until 7:00 p.m.

Under a really angry-looking sky right now! Oy.

Stay safe Mouse!!!

Prayers for all who are in the path of these storms. Be safe, stay safe, and know I'm with you in prayer.

(With photo....that's a tornado, folks)

That's just some of the weather-related stories from last night's storms on one media site. I'm almost afraid to look at the other local stations.

ETA:

I knew not to look at other sites :(

(As quick as I got the KNWA site report posted, KFSM updated theirs to verify the death of the sheriff. He's just a kid! Sadsadsad)

Glad you are safe My Tee Mouse.

Thanks for being so diligent in posting the Tor-Con Index, Show Me. My son is traveling from the Fort Worth area to NWA tonight, and it gives a good picture of what to expect in each area. Plus, sometimes this list is more accurate than the wonky radar coming from the local stations. AND if someone from MO posts it, I know it's been "vetted" as an accurate source! :)

For those who are in Tornado Alley and other areas affected by severe storms, if you don't have a weather alert radio, I strongly suggest you get one. Often your local tv channel's weather person can recommend a good brand and some stations will even help you set it up. We have the ACU-rite radio and it's served us well over the past couple years. Remember the deadliest tornados are the ones you can't see coming at night, the radio will give you a heads up if you don't turn the volume down. That peace of mind is invaluable.

Here we go again...Severe Thunderstorm Watch just issued for most of Wisconsin.

Thanks, Dewey. You reminded me that I need to adjust the setting on mine. Last night it was alerting for an area other than my own, so I need to change it.

Everyone in the paths of these storms, please be safe and, as I always tell my son (even to this day): Mind your safety rules!

Krap!!!!

Daughter's girlfriend just called and didn't know where to go with tornado near Reno. We told her drive away and she said she didn't have time. Told her to go to lowest level closet or bathroom, wear bicycle or motorcycle helmet if she has one and get down low with blankets, pillows or mattress on top of her and her boyfriend!

She's doing it now, sirens blaring in the background.

Prayers for Lyndsey! Near Reno by Lake Haffner?

Hoping she is safe!!

CNN is showing damage in El Reno now live. Definitely more people's lives have been devastated.

Apparently, NWS has issued a Tornado Emergency - which is higher than a warning, basically, imminent tornado!

In OKC itself!!!
