She was jealous of the bonding between Cindy & Caylee.
When told to get her own life with Caylee she couldn't handle it.
It was "all Caylee's fault" that she was kicked out of the house
and she took her anger & resentments out on Caylee.

I've never believed that Casey was jealous of the attention that Cindy or George gave Caylee. I think it was more like Cayle became a heavy responsibility and resentment that Caylee was lately able to talk, tell things, and verbally say that she wanted to live with Cindy. Casey was able to use Caylee to her advantage somewhat for a few years by being able to have a place to live, a free vehicle, excuses to not have enough money or need more money. When she became too much of a hindrance then she was of no use. I figure the jealousy angle was just a guilt trip and mind game she used on Cindy to deflect attention from herself and what she was really up to.

I agree, Txsvicki.. I think Casey lifestyle didn't have room for a baby and may have been more than happy to let mom and dad take care of Caylee so she could go out and play.

Or why Casey needed a babysitter...Were they all working daytime?

Who paid for the babysitter?

Was Kiomarie so thrilled to have a child part time? She worked for free?

I agree with those who guess Casey deliberately killed Caylee. I don't think it was an accident because I think that if it were, she would be very, very sad (even if she tried not to tell anyone). If she murdered Caylee, the reason could be jealousy, (as indicated in Cindy's Myspace journal when she thought Casey was keeping her from seeing Caylee) or it could have been revenge against her parents for threatening her in some way (either trying to make her get her act together and get her own place, or trying to get custody of Caylee).

I agree that Casey is liking the attention, and not just from her family but from her attorney and all the security guys "protecting" her. If she is narcissistic, she's loving the validation and advocacy.
