Wow! This is starting to sound more and more like OJ or Scott Peterson!

Wonder if Chris has made any hand signals like Scott did?

Nah, his dad's with him, isn't he? Gotta keep up appearances.

;)
fran

I couldn't follow the Peterson case very closely. Why on earth was he making hand signals, was he flashing gang signs?:)

Whoa people...!

If he was going to for mentally ill act or a suicide threat. He would go to St. Louis! (his lawyer would advise him of this - remember his lawyer in in St. Louis)
His lawyer will not want to travel 100 miles one way to Cape G to visit/consult with him. (Think of the $$$$ it would cost just for the travel time the lawyer would charge him - Cape is a 2 hour drive one way from St. Louis down I-55)

Chances are he may be going to his personal doctor to get some sleep meds or something.
If he was giving his DNA per a court order he would do that in St. Louis or Belleville IL.

There are better hospitals in Belleville IL and St. Louis if he was going with the mentally ill act or suicide threat.

Think logically about this.

Sorry if this has been answered, way behind this a.m.... but yes, it is true. If you do more digging on them, you'll see a republican sponsored initiative to find out how shes getting her money, where she spends her money & does she follow the rules by claiming it all, etc.. For a not for profit, it sure is profitable IMO.

Larry King spent a whole week with Evangelists like that on his show. I wonder if she did one.

Wow you are all really thinking up a storm -- good work gang...

BTW, there are some new photos here that were not here earlier. There is a closer up photo of Chris' face. He looks kinda tormented.

As for hospital visit -- aren't fingernail scratch marks easily infected? :waitasec:

Also the suicide thing, Lindadanette -- your mind has been going in a very similar fashion as mine for several hours now. Aside from that, who wouldn't be tempted to suicide under this given situation -- and as for strategy, well, I'm guessing a number of you have more info on this as a strategy than I do. But...sounds like it could be the deal.

W

PS. Thanks ArtieG for clearing things up. ALSO gang, ArtieG mentioned about the windows in that tract of houses. I "think" he said it is pretty hard to get into them from the outside, you would have to break into them.

Not exactly...........;)

Some people call it the 'one finger salute,' or a two word phrase that starts with *F* and the second word is *you.*:eek:j

Let's just say Scott thought he was a comedian or he was just plain arrogant!

JMHO

Oh, Carp! The hospital! Makes sense. Let's get started on that defense now...

Coleman was on I-55 headed south at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. He arrived with his parents at a hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo., with police following him at a distance and at normal highway speeds.

http://www.bnd.com/breaking_news/story/767039.html

From the article mentioned above:
"Early Wednesday morning three unmarked police cars and a sport utility vehicle full of detectives were staked out around the house in Chester where Chris Coleman has been staying since his wife and two sons were strangled."

An SUV? Did OJ have an SUV? Would've been funny if Arnold was the governor when OJ hand his little caravan, it would have been so California if Arnold would've been leading LE in an SUV.:)

I believe it was a Gold's Gym he had a membership to in South County. This is the closest location to I-255/I-270 (where he would cross from Columbia, IL into the South County area) that I could find.

http://www.goldsgym.com/gyms/map.php?gymID=713

It was the Golds Gym in Concord Plaza. And yes, Golds has scan cards ... you have to be scanned in & out so we'll know exactly what time he got there AND exactly what time he left.

You are probably right - but wouldn't it be more prudent, from a damage control POV, for him to be AWAY from St Louis (and Fenton). Less likely for the media to be camped out - more likely for the story to lose steam?

I would think a local doctor could provide a prescription without necessitating a hospital visit. But if he get admitted to a psych ward before they arrest him he's pretty much untouchable. No?

I am trying! LOL There aren't many logical reasons for him going to a hospital so far out of the way.

Why would he go to a hospital instead of his own Doctor's office to simply pick up meds to sleep or calm his nerves?

I agree DNA testing would be done in St. Louis or Chester.

Would anyone really go for a visit of a friend or family member immediately after burying your wife and children?

As far as better hospitals in the area, is it possible the Doctor they want on their defense team is located at this particular one?

I am out of logical reasons now. ;)

That is huge! Maybe she won't have to worry about her connection with CC having a lasting effect on her career, that stuff makes for one h3ll of a deversion.

12,000 people... un-freaking believable!

The only other thing I can think of is he might be trying to stay close to his hometown. If he is playing the mentally ill or suicide act then he might have to go to a Southern MO or Southern IL hospital to get into here (which is also in Chester IL)

http://www.siumed.edu/psych/html/chester_mental_health.html

Chester Mental Health Center is the state's maximum
security forensic hospital, located in Chester, Illinois.
Originally co-located with the Menard prison on the
Mississippi River. The present hospital opened on April 19,
1976. Chester Mental Health Center has 280 beds for
forensic patients referred from courts and for behavioral
management patients transferred from other Illinois
hospitals. Services offered include pharmacotherapy, individual and group
psychotherapy, and behavioral therapy

Chester also provides a rich variety of activity, therapy, and education
programs. Educational programs include a one-month subinternship in
forensic psychiatry for M.D., J.D., students and an intensive clinical
experience in the psychopathology of criminal behavior for medical
students.

It would be a brilliant strategy but it definitely wouldn't stop tongues from wagging AND shining the spotlight right back on him..........

From the cases I've watched develope here on the pages of Websleuths, it can take up to a month for all the DIRT on a NOT suspect to surface. IF he were in a hospital room, some that may be AFRAID to step forward with him on the loose, may just gain courage.

Just sayin'
fran

Well, he certainly never bargained on us :woohoo:

I have sleuthed several cases here and on other boards and the tenacity and dedication of all of you is amazing. I am honored to be in such good company.

Somebody ought to contact media in Tulsa with this story. Maybe they don't know about it. Just saying.

Her ex-husbands name is Peter. I'll refrain from posting the last name until I know it's OK to do so.

Good Morning!

Good Afternoon! I am just now reading your post!

This person, Michael-48-Tampa, Florida ( the MySpace name) has Tara as a 'friend' on his MySpace page. He seems to be a wealthy playboy type and is single.

He has pics of young women in his albums. I can believe that Tara might have met this guy at a 'gentleman's club' because of the pics. Several of his pics are with a few women rather than just one. It is very interesting. He has a business, but I cannot seem to locate a listing for it.

When I looked at his MS page I thought he very well might be a club owner. Tara L. is just one of his many friends. Some of his friends are just :eek: as you can tell by his friends listing.

Just thought it was an interesting connection Tara L. had!

Sheesh! Why not! Good thinking PandaJ...

There WAS a bandage on the leg of the woman who attended graveside - you can see it at some of the links I posted a few messages ago.

I don't know if she was in the car heading south, but the bandage looked like a burn or something yukky obviously needing treatment.

Maybe they were taking her to a hospital for treatment, films or some such?

Chester Gal, you wrote:

Sheesh, that is why we hired you! ;)

Mentioning DNA got me thinking about a question I had last night, its not about DNA though. If CC took prints of his hands and CC strangled his family with his bare hands is it possible to match them up? And is that at all conclusive evidence that the prosecution can use at trial.

That's right - I have heard that his mother is pretty sick - she has a autoimmune illness.
So it was probably her getting treatment at the hospital which has Dr's offices in it also.

The tall dark haired lady standing at the coffins that was marked as a unidentified woman was his mother .

Just saw this in the same article now (must have just updated it):

Chris Coleman then headed out of Chester with his parents and with police shadowing him. They arrived at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The woman believed to be Connie Coleman had a bandage on her left leg.
