I was using my digital camera to take photos of my TV screen with the DVR in pause mode.
The pictures never come out perfect when doing this but I think it is very obvious that it is a bale of straw that was probably removed from the Colemans back yard.

You rock Chestergal! I remember when the reporters asked MCS Man about the "bales" they mentioned something about them being red. I hadn't seen red in any of the pictures yet, but I think I can in these.

8. Reports are that Chris did have a mistress in FL who removed her Myspace shortly after the case broke. LE has apparently been to FL to interview someone.
9. Chris did not work the night of the murders. He does work nights. There are reports from a neighbor that he heard loud arguing and screaming at @ 3:00 a.m. the morning of the murders.
10. Chris reportedly met LE at his home. It is unclear if he found the bodies first or if LE did. He then sobbed, fell to the ground and rolled on the grass until he was put in an ambulance? (I'm unsure here). I don't think he was taken to the hospital.
11. Chris retained a very high profile crim defense lawyer hours after the discovery. Subsequently, LE had to get a court order for his fingerprints to narrow down who was in the house. It appears he has not voluntarily given anymore info or evidence.
12. Chris did not notify his wife's family for two days after the discovery. He then acted strange about the funeral and changed his mind about letting them take the bodies to their hometown for a funeral there. The family got a court order allowing them to have the bodies in their hometown for the funeral. The bodies later came back for burial.

My theory, and it's only that based on news reports, blog comments, things I've heard from other local people here is that the marriage had been in turmoil for awhile. They may have even already been seperated, hence the need for LE to search their old house. If they were seperated, but it wasn't common knowledge, maybe Chris stayed there most of the time since it is still owned by JMM (as reported). Sheri finally made the decision to move on with her life, my speculation based on her last myspace logon... ~~~~ in place of her last name, mood productive. He could have been sending the threatening letters to make her rely more on him and to force her to stay with him to protect her. He shows up that night to see the kids, or get some things - the back of the SUV was loaded with stuff - and maybe she told Chris she'd had enough of the affairs and he snapped that night and here we are trying to figure out what happened.

14. Chris apparently seemed unmoved at the visitation for his little boys and wife.
15. LE has reported that they think they know who did it but are not quite ready for an arrest. One poster stated LE came by her house (she's a neighbor of the family) and insinuated that the public has nothing to fear because it is as it appears to be (editorial: That hubby killed his family). LE has reported that this seems to be an isolated incident and that the wife and kids were specifically targeted.
16. LE seems to be keeping Chris under surveillance.

Thanks, that it is a nasty band coming through. My weather warning radio has been going off like crazy. Everything is fine right now.

I telling ya Chester really gets hit hard each year. The warm and cold fronts always meet right over us. I have some great severe weather photos that I have taken.

1. Basically, the children and wife were found strangled, some report in their beds. There are also reports that they were covered with sheets and/or spray painted. This is not official news.
2. There are reports that the family was the subject of threats from some unnamed person who vandalized their mailbox and otherwise threatened the family. We do not know if this info only came from the husband but, there are reports that the polcie were called on occasion.
3. Messages were spray painted on the walls of the home at the time of the murders. Reports say it was something to the effect of: I told you this would happen."
4. Many of us here suspect that Chris staged these threats to make it look like a stalker killed the family.
5. Chris apparently said he called from the gym or on the way home to check on his family because he always does so before the boys go to school to make sure they are up and to say goodmorning. He may say he got nervous and called LE when there was no answer because of the threats.
6. Chris works as a security officer for a major evangelcial org that he is a member of. Some are crepped out by this org and the head of it arrived at the house only a couple hours after the bodies were discovered.
7. Many question how his family would have been acceible if Chris knew securtiy so well. Couldn't he have crafted a security system for his house? Apparently, there were cameras set up bu the DVR in one is missing. Reports are that LE is searching for it.

I'd like to put the arrest day in my calender. I definitely don't want to have to catch up on that day!

17. Finally, an astute sleuther found a youtube video of who appears to be Chris's brother strangling a deer he had hunted with an arrow, because he had no other weapon to finish it off. People reported it was disgusting, that the brother, Brad? was laughing and enjoyed himself and Chris may have been present and/or filming. This video has since been removed. Another sleuther reported the video before removal, to LE.

Interesting note... CC's attorneys stated that CC has "no knowledge of anyone by the alleged woman's name". This just on NG. If she was a friend of Sheri, wouldn't he know her?!? Hopefully if this GF affair story is true, that comment will tick off the GF and she'll start flapping her jaws to LE.

NG asking about the GF affair story. STLPD Reporter ... That's true, that's what we reported today in the paper and that's what we're standing behind. That CC had the affair with the woman who went to HS with Sheri and was Sheris friend. He carried on that affair up through the time of the murders.

WOW good stuff from this reporter!!! So the affair is true.

Girl get your self into the basement!!! This is a nasty line coming through right to you, eta 31 minutes. We lucked out and just got about 15 minutes of hard rain, thunder & lightening. Now it's light with some rumbles. It needs to stop so the dog will go to sleep!

Stella - I have a dog that freaks out when it storms. I use something called Pet-Ease and it cures the anxiety problem completely and I don't hear a peep out of him (he gets crated at night and would cry and bark in high pitch bark). Pet-Ease is made with herbs and tryptophan. My dog is 30# and you give 1 pill for every 10# - but my dog gets 4 pills. (3 does not quite work) - I have tried Melatonin but did not work on him.

Give the Pet-Ease a try.... (google it to find online sources to purchase it if you cannot find it locally)

I think I remember seeing some pictures of Sheri and a friend from when they went on a mission. Looked like they were close. I'm sure she does have close friends. The media revealed their source regarding the affair, so it could be something people have been buzzing about for awhile.

There has been speculation that the head of the ministry may have known about the affairs. Didn't sound right to me at the time, but in a tight knit community like that ya never know.

I didn't watch the NG to see the lawyers comment, but the lawyer's response sounds like attorney-speak for "Even if I knew I wouldn't tell you anything". I suppose that this Tara might not be CC's mistress, but if someone said that about me I would be holding a presser just to say, "EEEEWWWWWWWWWWW!" among other things!:crazy:

All these were taken from my yard. The one with the funnel cloud forming never did produce.
We see some very cool weather here and that can leave you on the edge of your seat. (or hiding in the basement all spring long)

Final thought for tonight: I've noticed a lot of the posters on KSDK, KMOV and the Post-Dispatch seem concerned that there has been no arrest. My thought is that the MCS and the county prosecutor are not making an arrest until they have an airtight case built against CC because as soon as they arrest him, they have to turn over all of their evidence findings to his attorneys. As it is right now, they can take their time and get things right without the defense hounding them. Just my $.02.
Also, the MCS is very good at what they do. They are the best of the best in the area, and unfortunately with as many murders as STL has, they have the experience. I think they have done a fine job with this case.

People asked what other job Brad Coleman (Chris' Brother) did besides being a part-time Chester City Police Officer - Brad Coleman is also a Correctional Officer at Menard State Prison in Chester.

A quote from Coleman's neighbors in Chester via the Fox newscaster... (this will give you an idea of the FU mentality here in this town by close neighbors and friends of the Coleman family.)

Neighbors are a little bit distraught by this :boohoodue to MCS staying outside the Coleman home and following the family around as they travel around town and to Cape G)... They say that it's hard even though Chris Coleman has not been named a suspect to see this police scrutiny on a very RESPECTED FAMILY:bang:, the father of Chris Coleman a respected minister, the brother a corrections officer and police officer.
