The revelation of the girlfriend, his subsequent "resignation" from JMM for "violating employment policy (or something to that effect) leans further credence to one possibility .. that someone wanted to get to Meyer with this information ... CC prevented it and thus his family became the sacrifical lambs.

Analy This seems like double talk how do you get his girlfriend being revealed and then CC resigning from JMM means some nut decided to kill his family cause CC would not let this person squeal on CC?Gee a stamp on a letter sent to JM would of had same effect CC would of had to resign. And said nut wouldn't be looking atgoing to prison for 3 murders, Where is the logic in that.

I am not understanding what you are writing here..

Someone wanted to kill (get to?) JM because CC was having an affair, CC prevented it and his family was killed because he stopped the attack on JM?

Or, someone wanted to destroy JM ministry with the revelation that CC was having an affair, CC stopped it, family killed etc.?

Or, someone wanted to have CC fired from his job at JMM because he had an affair, CC stopped it and his family was killed in retaliation?

What do you mean by "get to Meyer" and what did CC prevent?

I'm not sure either. Maybe they meant college? If I run across it I will post a link.

I think they may have been talking about sc. I think tl and her met in high school. That might be what you heard.

I thought he was FIRED?

Also when they arrest him will u still think he is innocent? Just curious:rolleyes:

I saw a post @ sltoday.com that claimed he was fired (early this a.m.) but KiKi posted an article this afternoon that said he was confronted by JMM (failure to to comply with policy) and he resigned.

So - in my mind, that's as good as being fired....in a backwards sort of way. ;)

wouldn't it have been easier to give Meyer the 411 on CC's g/f via anonymous communication (email, snail mail, phone call, etc) than to murder a young mother & 2 little boys?

I know the price of stamps have gone up, but I just can not see how someone would murder a woman and 2 children when the usa mail could have alerted JM of CC's affairs. That is ludicrous IMO

I think you are right. I probably read what I read this morning before I had my required gallon of coffee.

ETA: I'm not a morning person at all!

Analytical, Do you have any proof or information that this could be a possibility or probality? Have you heard rumors of this conspiracy? Or detailed facts saying that this is what has happened?

IMO the "resignation" story was agreed upon by both parties for both of them to save face. JMM to protect her reputation for not abandoning a loved employee (as per their own press release last week) in a time of need by firing him; and CC to not have even more suspicion thrust upon him by being fired. However you just have to read between the lines to see what's really going on... JMM is distancing herself and her empire from this big time!

Reveal the deatils .. not harm JM.

It's easy to extrapolate theories and yes, a stamped envelope would do. :)

All inquiring minds want to know :)

Mine runs on objectivity .. and experience .. not emotion nor a pack mentality
Pack mentality? I don't see in this case the majority thinking that Chris appears to be the ultimate suspect is from emotion or pack mentality. I do think we rely on our experience and intellect to determine how we evaluate the players in every case.

My opinion is often not popular, but it doesn't change how I view a case. I stick by my guns unless something does happen to change my opinion (which doesn't occur often either). LOL

Was that a media report, reported on one of the bulletin boards .. a neighbor account?

I wasn't there. I didn't see this allegation ... I can't be sure he rolled in the grass.

I'll draw no conclusions because I can't find any information that he did ... I find this type of conclusion-drawing to make a leap to a person's guilt in the murder of his wife and children extremely troubling.

I know of a person who dropped to the ground onto their stomach sobbing when their beloved cat was found dead. I observed the reaction. That person then rolled on their side sobbing, pulling their knees to their chest.

.. just something to think about.

If you look at the beginning of this case, you will see that yes, neighbors witnessed his "over the top" reaction. If it was in his nature to react to things in such a manner, how do you explain his behavior at the graves of his beautiful babies?

I'm not sure anyone whose cat has died would be suspected of murdering said cat. However, as I said last night, I have grieved for lost pets longer than 8 days. If I lost my husband and children in one fell swoop, I would be on my knees in sorrow indefinitely. And no, I would not have the presence of mind to hire 2 high-powered defense attorneys.

I'm sure that he was given very little choice, and probably a severance package. I suggested the likelihood of JMM footing the defense bill as a part of the severance and someone else (sorry, don't remember who) suggested they thought it was the father's church. I would like to be a fly on the wall to see what kind of big money "donations" are given anonymously in the event of his arrest and subsequent trial. MOO

Okey dokey...

So, if we are to do a CDnDI (Chris didn't do it) -- then we have him leaving the living bodies of his wife and children at 5:43AM (or is it that 5:30AM?) Then we have the 6:51AM end mark. We've done this a few times...

Now the end mark is from my notes taken on the press conference ("Asking anyone for anything they might have seen prior to the discovery of the bodies -- discovered around 6:51AM")

We have either a 1 hour and 21 minute time window OR a 1 hour and 8 minute time window. Which is it?

We have walked through, in several different mentions, how long it might take to strangle 3 people (if that was the only COD).

A. Entry into the home (maybe they were already in the home OR just hiding -- OR maybe just feigning sleep beside one of the murder victims?)

B. Time up the stairs to the bedrooms (I believe we have information that the bedrooms were upstairs -- but maybe Sheri was sleeping on the couch? or any variation of where people were sleeping -- add time to find out where everyone was that the murderer wanted to take out)

C. Time to enter the space of each murdered person and do that which was done to them (quietly? render them unconscious? flip them over? strangle and/or otherwise make sure they were dead, maybe paint something on their bed clothing or wall or ?)

D. Time to do any other art work? Write something on one or a number of walls or otherwise?

And then...
E. Maybe time to hunt up a surveillance recorder and do whatever was done to it...if there was a recorder and if something was done to it.

So about that recorder -- just where in the house was it found? Was it sitting on a table or shelf open for public view? Was it in a closet or wall? Was it in the garage? How long did it take to find that?

Was there any evidence of a "search for the recorder?" i.e. if that recorder wasn't out in the open for anyone to just breeze by and see -- were there cupboard doors left open, drawers opened, walls explored or hacked apart etc. Picture frames askew or pictures off the wall?

How long might it have taken to find a recorder -- and how many minutes have ticked by so far.

Oh but maybe Chris and Sheri pointed all their friends and locals to that recorder so everyone (and maybe a perp) knew where this could be found? DID Chris and Sheri show off their home surveillance system to a number of people hoping to sell them on one (i.e. the business we heard they started). How many of their friends (maybe some of those going to the finance/budget classes) were shown that system?

And then...
F. The paint -- did the perp take that along with them OR did they have to find that? Oh...and was the paint that was used something used by a security guy on a job and maybe brought home and available? How available is that paint to anyone but someone who would buy corporately?

G. Time for whatever else went on in that home...

OOPS how long did it take to find the murder weapon/weapons -- or maybe no time at all, the perp had it on them, went prepared?

How close is this time window to the body temps of the deceased -- the TOD found by those who did that work?

No, not at all! The threats were in "relation to his employment with JMM".

Even if the brown envelope arrived :) .. and this is ONLY a scenario .. CC could have denied the allegation but can't any longer .... thus violation of a policy and termination.

I don't know! :) I'm still stuck on "threats in relationship to his employment with JMM" and I believe the threats were valid and real.

I'll even venture that the killer had such rage and hatred towards Coleman as to not only kill his wife and children but to plan the act methodically and purposefully so as to implicate Coleman.

I just don't buy Coleman painting messages on his own walls.

For what it is worth, and, this is from the Post board, someone said he was offered resign with the severance package or be fired with nothing. No mention of what the severance package is.

I guess its also why the killer didnt kill CC because he had to go the gym, creat an alibi, call home, call cop friends, and mail a letter:waitasec::confused:

I AM being sarcastic:crazy:

And you believe someone would resort to murder instead of writting a letter that would have had the same effect? If this mysterious killer just wrote JM she would have fired CC, then he would of had to explain To SC she probably would have tossed him out on his ear.Same result CC would have lost his family his house half of any paycheck and all church members would know he was committing adultery. No one would have a jail sentence over their head.Makes no sense to me at all.
