I'm saying that it's a reasonable thought to think that there might be something sinister to their finances. It's not extremely illogical to wonder what the motive is. Past cases tell us this. I'm sorry you don't agree, but it's fact and just the way it is. Like it or not.

I know when I was a stay at home mom, we would raise my husband policy since he supported the family, but not mine.I would love to know the amount he raised hers to.

Thanks~ Sometimes think I am a closet forensic pathologist. ;)

This site gives me much hope they can determine TOD down to the narrow window they need for this case. Of course, if the TOD is say 3:00 am (which is my theory) then it isn't a problem and easily determined.

Do you still wear your starched white lab coat when you're in the closet? :) :)

Well I can tell you the house will not be worth diddly squat! In our state if someone dies and it's not natural causes it must be stated on a disclosure (not that people wouldn't know due to high profile case). Houses where people are murdered usually are hard to sell, and sell for less than market value. I'm thinking one where two kids were murdered is going to be really hard to sell. Look for this one to become a non selling foreclosure! JMO

It varies. My MIL was violently murdered in her home. It was all over the news. Her soon to be ex husband was still on the deed, it went back to him. He had the bloody drywall pulled out, the tiles redone, fresh paint and landscape... sold as soon as it went on the market. Very sought after neighborhood. On the other hand a girl I used to work with, her father shot himself in the head in his trailer. They had to clean up the mess, the death and manner had to be disclosed, someone bought that too. I have seen a couple in the news where the neighbors join together in tearing down a well know crime scene and having it rebuilt for the sake of the neighborhood (stop the site seeing folks).

It's also their job to get their client acquited of the charges regardless if they are truly guilty or not. If it wasn't, there would be no need for defense attorneys.

Agreed .. "the best defense possible"

IIRC there was case that was pulled for awhile because LE requested because I guess some where hitting the nail on the head. Can not remember the case.

There was a car club of some sort involved, a woman was murdered and her cousin was posting here if I recall correctly. LE requested that it be pulled.

The only reason they sealed those SWs today was to keep the perp and the public from knowing for a fact the perp's name. This was the first time we have seen anything sealed in this case.

Well...LE jumps to sinister conclusions when they have a 31 year old mother along with her 11 year old and 9 year old sons brutally murdered as they were sleeping in their quiet suburban home. I happen to think along the same lines.

That's right! You have to have instinct, gut feelings, a hinky meter, something in order to ever solve a case like this.

What else is there, other then the perp confessing? Thank God most of us are armed with gut instinct.

If the Popo didn't have anyone who had the capablilty to be suspicious of things, they'd never solve a case!

Motive, means and opportunity folks. It really is that simple.

Remember KISS Keep It Simple Stupid!! (Not directed at you SS, by any means!!)

There is a kinder way of putting that, ya know rather than making a "you" statement into a personal attack.

I haven't blanket discounted the sum total of the reported threats, the interaction reported to the police described as "interaction with an individual of a suspicious nature" ...

The problem I have is that cc was the one reporting the threats. As far as I know, there is no evidence that this person exists. No car description, no fingerprints, nothing at all to indicate that that this is a real person.

Oy, you take one thing and focus on one thing at a time, including with how we sleuth here. Past experiences is only one part. Gotta look at the big picture you know.

I use to be that one juror the defense wanted on there jury. When I 1st started watching TruTv(when it was courtTV) I always thought there's no way someone could do that to their loved one, or that young man looks to innocent to be guilty of something like this.

After you watch case, after case, after case, dig up info on cases in the news, go on forums you start to get a feel for how to read people, their emotions, actions, and the way they talk. Now I have no problem suspecting the wife, husband, parent, gf, bf, neighbor, etc.

All the parents abusing and killing the kids and/or allowing their live in to harm them. Leads me to believe there are alot of people out there capable of a crime such as this. The father in this case being a so called christian, preachers son (I was told by my grandpa when younger to always watch out for the peachers' sons they are up to no good), and worked for a christian organization means nothing. Look at Sandra Cantu's murderer she was the granddaughter of a preacher and a sunday schooler teacher.

I hope you stay safe! :)

Thanks... I am back (unless it picks up again)
Horrible continuous lightening and thunder tonight. Chester is fairly high above sea level due to it sitting on Mississippi River Bluffs. The lightening strikes get pretty close to us and the whole hole house shakes when it thunders. (Like mini 2.5 to 3.0 mag earthquakes that are close to the surface)

I am have been sitting here thinking about these new search warrants. I also searched for other sources than the Chicage Tribune and I found it listed here http://twitter.com/kplr also (the article was put up at between 7 and 8pm at Kplr)
I was wondering what time JMM put the message up on her website about CC resigning and how JMM is doing everything it can for LE.

If the times are close to each other I am thinking that the search warrants were to search the JMM offices or CC's cubicle or office at JMM. JMM would request a warrant that specifies exactly what LE wants to search.

I am going to quickly post this before the power goes out. It is still flickering

Wouldn't it be great if all wives that had been threatened in any way shape or form, would take the initiative to set up their own spy ware. And, keep their mouth shut about it.
IMO

Sorry if this has been answered, trying to catch up. The security camera DVR is MISSING!!! Now who would know where to find the DVR?!?!? And no, it wasn't ninja's or dwarf ninja's or zanny the nanny

BTW Welcome to this thread Panthera. I've followed your thoughts on the Caylee case.

daisyD who posted on PD about the g/f also posted that the DVR had been found off 255

I've seen it posted elsewhere in some message section that the DVR had been found but LE is keeping mum about it.
----
daisyd was "railed" on at first for posting "rumors" but she's been back after the g/f was made known to say "I told you so" so she might be right about the DVR

Could the same be true in reverse... past cases color posters' vision to see clearly?

I'd bet on it .....
I think it just makes them more capable of believing the ugly truth for what it is.

ITA, some things are immediately be suspicious and make you go hmmmm. I'm going to refer to another case, heh, the woman who's husband was just charged with his wifes murder while they were scuba diving. Pressured and pressured his fiance to buy that life insurance. Even her dad begged her not to and not to marry this guy because of the life insurance. The husband murdered his wife before the ink was dry on their marriage license. I guess her dad's suspicions weren't so illogical.

I would think a head security guy for such a target as JMM seems to be,should know you have to hide the dvr!!!!! I wonder in the timeline how long was spent looking 5or 10 minutes.Wow this perp was quick in locating it:rolleyes::bang:

I think the religious wrappings could be a large part of the reason he chose this route instead of leaving. Kind of ruins your imagine in your church community to walk out on your wife and two kids for your mistress. That can be a very real source of motivation in these kinds of cases.

Missing from the house, which was established way early in the investigation. What LE has & doesn't have is another story altogether.

Interesting that it would be found on route to the gym, eh?

I know some just leave so much that just trails right back to them like a blinking red arrow.
