There used to be a trailer court there, Hoppe's Trailer Court I think was the name of it.

The name changed to Grace Church when it went from small church to big business.

You must really love your husband to give up StL for Chester.

I think it would be more exciting if he were say a CIA Operative working for JMM so he could travel overseas (Africa etc.) and be working as a spy for the government. Oooooo...even better defense strategy...he could be traveling around the country with his handy dandy spy cam and doing surveillance on sleeper cells. Miss Motive is only a cover. She allowed him to go into seedy motels, vacant houses, and other places without people thinking anything about it besides cheating. It is disturbing to about 1/2 the people in Chester. They really suck the folks into the church though. I have heard stories about ex-members and how much money they gave the church (because the church expects more than 10% from members) only to be shunned for getting divorced to an abusive or cheating spouse.

Y'all are crazy. He's clearly innocent. He's being set up! It will all be clear soon. Not calling her parents, he was in shock. The girlfriend, demons got him. The lawyer, the cops were scaring him. He's a preacher's kid, he couldn't have done it. There had to be someone hidden in the house. Innocent until proven guilty!

Accountability is the key. Even if he didn't have a good relationship with her family, there is no excuse for not having called them, none. Adultery is adultery, and if he is guilty, he is guilty. It isn't the devil, it's the flesh.
The lawyer, I don't have a problem with that. LE is also quick to get a rope, and all citizens have the right to legal representation. He did sit down with them according to the media, on the first day, so he gave a statement. Anything beyond that imo is LE taking the easy way instead of investigating.
Being a PK means absolutely nothing! The old adage of no one gets to heaven on their mama's apron strings, or skirttails is true. This man is a man, not a child, and has been out in the world making his own choices for a very long time now.

could be, but she didn't kill her kids...that's going to be the toughest visual for any jury to get past.

Three people are dead and they know the person responsible. They have adequate proof according to LE. The SA's Office needs to get an arrest warrant. :furious:

Seriously, IMO CC is just another person who didn't want to have any financial responsibilities that would come with divorce and spousal/child support, and thought he could get away with murder.

Thanks... the trailer court was not there when we got here. Maybe it was an empty lot when I got here.
Reids Best Western was built after we moved here.
Hubby is not a native either he feels the same way I do about Chester. We are waiting for retirement time to come along so we can get out of here. That will be awhile from now.

Yes... I miss STL but have adjusted to the life here. I do miss having close relationships with friends. People just tend to keep others at arms length down here if you are not a native. I never could figure why they have to be that way. I am a pretty nice person and I would do anything for most people if they needed help or someone to just talk to. I love to have fun and joke around also.

I bet you love STL and that it was like a breath of fresh air to you after you moved there. So many things to do and friendly people on top of it.

I am not sure what the laws are in IL ... but ... we know that her name was taken off the real estate deed not too long ago. We also believe that both cars were in CC's name only. All major assets. I wonder if there was a lot of debt in her name?

What I am getting at is after her death would debts in her name have to be written by the debtors since she had no assets to cover debts?
