They can also sue for wrongful death (which they should do asap once charges are filed in hopes of freezing the assets). In that situation it would not matter what her name was or wasn't on, they will be going after any and all of his assets.
Well I can tell you the house will not be worth diddly squat! In our state if someone dies and it's not natural causes it must be stated on a disclosure (not that people wouldn't know due to high profile case). Houses where people are murdered usually are hard to sell, and sell for less than market value. I'm thinking one where two kids were murdered is going to be really hard to sell. Look for this one to become a non selling foreclosure! JMO
