It was reported on NG today that the city of Columbia had a camera trained on the Coleman house in response to the threats received. If that tape shows someone other than CC exit the house Tuesday morning before police arrived, then I am willing to give your scenario some consideration.

I do know the CC family is claiming that 'the real killer™' (has anyone contacted OJ to let him know where they are yet?) was hiding out in the house all night waiting for CC to leave in the morning. So we should see him or her leave shortly after CC went to the Gym. Unless of course this person was enough of a pro to off the family while CC was actually in the house, maybe CC attempted to wake his wife before leaving, but was unable to do so. That could explain why he started calling minutes after leaving the house.

It will be VERY interesting if we hear the city owned camera was unexpectedly not functioning Monday night.

Fascinating. I wonder how the CC family knows that.

Hello FrmChesterGuy,

If the family is saying the real killer "was hiding out in the house all night waiting for CC to leave in the morning" I might guess they are partially correct. There was no need for hiding however, the real killer, in my opinion at this point, was the guy who had his wife take her name off the deed for some reason.

W

What I do not understand about the guy hiding all night in the house. The threats were directed at all of them so why is CC alive?

If one is a student or observer of human behavior long enough, one can learn an awful lot about human nature. Not that there are no exceptions, but there are only so many primal motives for coldblooded murder.

And there are even fewer reasons to kill children--especially where no SA is involved. In this case w the murder of the boys it would appear they likely witnessed *something* w/in their home... and when killed in their sleep, the only logical conclusion I can draw is they were allowed to sleep following w/e the *something* was they witnessed which may have only been to overhear the heated argument; but if Mommy disappears immediately following the heated confrontation, their children could naturally have linked the two... most likely w/e incident alleged to have been overheard by neighbors at 3:00 am. Could someone kindly tell me body temp or please direct me to autopsy or where it's reported? TIA

That hasn't been release yet, and most likely won't come out until the trial. No Sunshine Laws in IL. Might get lucky and reporter will get a copy before, but, don't count on it.

Manual strangulation would be very personal. You could strangle a person in very impersonal ways however. You could use a zip tie for instance, cinch it tightly around a person's neck, and walk away, moving on the the next victim.

A person could probably do 3 sleeping people in this way in under a minute. If you woke up with a zip tie tightened around your neck, I'm sure you would be far too panicky to do anything useful to save your own life in the few seconds of consciousness you had left.

Of course it's even more "impersonal" if one's victim is strangled face down. :furious:

Really horrific visuals here sorry. Re threats, I thought LE was alerted but put the Roberts Dr. address under surveillance (patrolled, vs cameras).

If they were hiding in my house they would come out and confess just to get away from the noise of my three little angels!

Also if your the perp would you hide in a house with a guy who is head of security for a corporate business? and wouldn't the footage on the DVR show the perp entering the house. Oh that's right he erased it before they got home.

I going out on a limb here and say. I think they will find or have already, the letters came from a computer at JMM. Written and printed on 3rd shift.
IMO

This is exactly what I'm thinking. It would explain a few things....

He is probably the one who was doing the threatening! There was another murder of a wife where the family was getting threats and it turned out to be the husband. Can't remember who it was. Was her name Jennifer?

Your knowledge is astounding. Is this something you came across on another case? I would be interested to learn more about this type of strangulation and how often it has been used.

There have been so many,Diane King the anchor woman her husband did same thing a lot of them do.I do not think anyone was hiding in the house all night, I believe he was laying in bed right beside her.

Hi ... NG has been repeating on my tv for since the first airing .. I don't recall any mention tonight nor earlier reporting in the media of a City of Columbia camera.

The Coleman family had installed a camera in response to the threats.

Sounds like NG's staffer didn't make it very clear who pointed a camera @ the Coleman house...it's easy to see how someone could think the city installed the camera.

And why it's good to followup on what's reported on her show. ;)

CLARK GOLDBAND, NANCY GRACE STAFFER: Well, exactly right, Jean. It`s our understanding that Chris Coleman told friends and some neighbors that he had been receiving threats in the mail. Now, it`s not clear what timeframe those threats started. It`s also not clear what exactly was contained in those threats. But I can tell you this. Law enforcement apparently was told about these threats, and they trained a surveillance camera, apparently, on the outside of the home.

All along the 11 miles of highway & streets to get to the gym LE searches the 255/JB area and supposedly finds evidence. Why did they look there? And not comb the rest of the roads that would lead to the gym? If they did, that wasn't reported to my knowledge. So they happened to find something, what we assume is the DVR and/or spray cans. So that leads me to believe someone saw something and called LE. Or they're just extremely lucky.

This case was on local news almost immediately with a clear view of CC's green SUV. Could someone have seen the SUV on TV and remembered they saw one of those on the JB that morning and saw something thrown out of the window! Thoughts?

Somethings I would like to know is...when were the camera's installed? and when was LE notified of the letters? If this was going on for 6 months to 9 months why would they just now put in cameras? and if they put in the cameras a whie back there should be something on that dvr harddrive.

Just supposing those threats were real, and since it is not know the specifics of the threats - they could have been "I will harm your family!"

The threat is made reality and the message left on the wall "I told you this would happen!"

Taking out Coleman too would serve no purpose. The ultimate punishment to "harm your family"

That's not very clear ~ "they" could be anybody, but I'm guessing they meant the cameras that were on the Coleman house. Dang!

There are traffic cameras. I am not sure how many and if they record or if they are monitored. I have heard both. I heard they have a witness. Although there is no link as this is just a rumor I heard, from a decent source.
