But ya know what? That's not really true. They were married and there are rights that would have been afforded to her whether she was on the deed or not. It all depends on the law of the state. If this is true...that they can't gain access to retrieve some of her belongings, it's just plain wicked.
Wouldn't her family's rights depend on what was in Sheri's Will? I believe only if she had named them as beneficiaries of specific items would they have the legal right to retrieve those items. But, him just not allowing the family any access isn't right either unless Sheri had not wanted her family to have anything. MOO

Exactly! He was hoping to frame others.

Comment on the weird Idlesleuth message: Although I don't like to be given clues when someone can simply state what they want me to know, and I am familiar with the defense team type of posters, I do want to point out that when reading that message, the poster stated something to the effect of Chris knew that if he claimed he was being threatened, people would take him serious due to the nature of his job. That may indicate that Idlesleuth thinks Chris set up the threat theory as a means of casting suspicion away from him. So, I don't know what's up with the post but I'm too tired to play games!

From what I'm hearing there is plenty of indisputable evidence to nail CC for this, they're just getting thier duks in a row before making an arrest. It's possible that SC was doing the blackmailing of CC about the affair.

while LE may not be able to force the issue, ya'd think the family would want to do the right thing....I'd think it would even promote the "good" in CC - which he seems to need right now, given it appears he is the only suspect.

Allowing Sheri's family to have momentos would be good PR, donchya think?

I guess you're not privy to say who he was hoping to frame.

I got your clue .. and have been ridiculed since .. called by one poster part of Coleman's "cult" .. she wishes to put me on ignore ... took a lot of heat for believing you but you didn't answer the other questions you posed.

Is that why he retained a lawyer after the lenghty questioning on the first day .. and of course, this makes sense that LE had seized "electronic equipment" from JMM that Coleman has been using .. but now it seems not perhaps for pure means.

Interesting wrinkle

I guess we can now stop working on the scenario where the vengeful perp is trying to frame CC?

IdleSleuth ... is this why he submitted voluntarily to questioning for approx. 7 hours of the day of the murders but this "side" issue requires criminal defense and hired Margulis for defense of something "revealed", if you will, during questioning. Hmmmmm .....

Well ... seems obvious!

I feel like I just walked into a bad spy movie. Do either one of you care to share with the rest of us? TIA

He he he. You get a cookie.

hehehe .. thanks ... because, if proven, there's going to be charges for that.. hmmm .. going out on a limb here .. has JMM filed charges?

making it more interesting is I believe the "third shift" was not at the Fenton headquarters of the ministry but rather to "secure" and monitor the Meyer family compound where Meyer and her children live off I-270 and Gravois

Then there's that little tidbit that he travelled with Meyer and the ministry ..

my, my, my!

I have not seen that information in any paper. Can you point me to the reference where you got that information?

Truly. The behavior of the Coleman family speaks volumes about exactly what kind of people they are. All of them. With this and the deer hunting video, I am convinced these are not the kind of people I, nor most people I know, would associate with, or count on as a path to any kind of salvation. Not decent people at all.

I am not on great terms with my MIL - my husband has been some what estranged from her for many years, she was horrible and abusive to him and his brothers growing up - but, if something happened to my DH or family, I would personally call her, or someone close to me would, ASAP, and she would receive a memento if she so wished.

Wow! I really wonder what the relationship was between the couple and the in-laws. I had heard that LE requested that her family NOT speak to the media and they are honoring that as far as I can tell (smart move if you ask me). It seems to me that each attempt Sheri's family makes to get "close" is thwarted by CC. This is NOT the time IMO to be playing this out for others to see. You would think he would be more cooperative.

Too funny :)

He wasn't actually framing a person. He simply wanted the murder to look like retribution from someone who he may have spied on.

It was central to his alibi and defense strategy. The police will have to look into his work activities and they will find that there will be people , significant people who will *not* want this line of inquiry to hit the public record.

If he ever gets tried this, stuff will dominate the trial and tv coverage leading to possibility of reasonable doubt.

It's not only Chris Coleman who is worried about this case.

I guess you're not privy to say who he was hoping to frame.

Well, that was easy enough to figure out IMO.

I thought we knew that on day one, when we heard about the spray painted "I told you this would happen? :waitasec:
