What, Wrinkles ... I know you gave me a less than warm .. a very unwarm welcome but do give me credit for being able to doing a little sleuthing of my very own.

Have a nice afternoon ... oh how I remember how you greeted me last week and it wasn't pretty and you want me to tip my hat now?

NO!

I thought we were all on here for the same purpose??? I think we have all been attacked (me, too), but it's not personal. We all want this case brought to justice.

Hello All,

Has anyone seen anything anywhere that indicates that CC voluntarily submitted to questioning for approx. 7 hours on the day of the murders.

W

PS. Until I see proof of the above from a reliable source, I rather doubt it.

Good grief.

So, about the murder case involving Sherri Coleman and her two sons????

  • #924
He wasn't actually framing a person. He simply wanted the murder to look like retribution from someone who he may have spied on.

It was central to his alibi and defense strategy. The police will have to look into his work activities and they will find that there will be people , significant people who will *not* want this line of inquiry to hit the public record.

If he ever gets tried this, stuff will dominate the trial and tv coverage leading to possibility of reasonable doubt.

It's not only Chris Coleman who is worried about this case.

the only problem with this is getting a jury to believe someone else was in that house besides CC.

this is as good a defense as "the nanny did it".

I understand perfectly...but the crime of murder needs to be dealt with first and foremost IMO. What he's been doing behind the scenes will no doubt be delved into at the trial...but first let's get the perp arrested.

Wow! I really wonder what the relationship was between the couple and the in-laws. I had heard that LE requested that her family NOT speak to the media and they are honoring that as far as I can tell (smart move if you ask me). It seems to me that each attempt Sheri's family makes to get "close" is thwarted by CC. This is NOT the time IMO to be playing this out for others to see. You would think he would be more cooperative.
It reminds me of Jason Young shunning Michelle's family. I agree, it doesn't look good for him, particularily at this time. And I seriously doubt Sheri had made any request for her family not to be allowed near her possessions. MOO

I thought we knew that on day one, when we heard about the spray painted "I told you this would happen? :waitasec:
Exactly...

Idlesleuth, You feel that he did murder his wife and 2 sons??? And the rest is just the mess he has created in his work life spying?

Interesting new comment on the Post site
"StLwannabe May 17, 2009 2:26PM CST
George is right about the open / closed caskets. They were open for the family and JM to view then Chris requested that they be closed for the public viewing. Also, Sheri's jaw was broke so she must've put up some kinda struggle. And no, I wasn't at the funeral but a family member of mine was. CC mother told my family member about Sheri's jaw being broke."

How awful, if true.

And as others have agreed, spoken as someone who has never lived through quite these circumstances. You are missing the point, my own children were the ONLY ones who BELIEVED what was going on inside the home...because THEY were INSIDE the home. Again if you read my post again you will notice I'm not referring to strictly physical battering but to financial control and there is no QUESTION this was occurring. What witnesses are needed? What further "proof" is required when all the baffling and really bad financial facts here have now been brought out in the open I mean whadya want... lol... sorta...
:waitasec:

:parrot:
So everyone agreed they know my personal life and what I have lived through?! I don't think so.

What financial facts do we have? The house and cars were in his name? She signed the house over as far as we know, but we have only speculation about her reason to do so. Was she allowed to go shopping? Was she allowed to have her own credit cards and bank account?

Sheri was a trained soldier and even tho her scum of a husband cheated on her, I am not sure she was the type to allow him to walk all over her. It could be why she was murdered. Just sayin...

Maybe you are missing MY point. ;)

Not a pretty picture...I really wanted to keep an open mind and allow that the person who commited the crimes could be a "stranger", but this just reeks of emotion on a personal level.

If blackmail is just BS then why dd LE go and seize electronic surveillance equipment from his employer? Tell me.

If Coleman was the murderer (and I believe he is), why would he scrawl messages in his house, alluding to an enemy? Why would he act like someone is threatening him unless he did so to further his plan to place suspicion away from himself?

He is dumb, right? Why is Chris Coleman running around free when strangling of victims would leave DNA evidence that is enough to convict right now?

Everybody "knows" that CC strangled his wife and kids, right? Open and shut. Why then is LE wasting time?

I'd like to know your view.

I totally agree. Blackmail "talk" is just that. Talk. Pure b.s. They, who tossed that out there, are giving this guy waaaaaaaay too much credit for intelligience. A Mother and two beautiful boys murdered by this "man's" hands. Kinda makes me spit up a little.....

Gosh...no one said, "Who's there?" WTH?! LOL

My answer is....The Defense team trying out yet another strategy to see if it will fly.

No matter how they spin it...Chris Coleman is going to be charged and found guilty of those charges.

Ok, you all are probably on a different subject by now, but I just had to comment about this ONE TIME poster and this cloak and dagger revelation of ehhhh........black mail.............YES, I typed it with a straight face!

Like I said yesterday, there are a number of circumstances that occur or pop up on case after case after case. Like a good little Websleuther, and I'm sure many others, I didn't say 'what' circumstances we were all waiting to pop up on this case. I love this suspense! :)

EXCUSE for not contacting the wife/victim's family, check,........they didn't get along is *rumored* by anonomous web posters.

SODDI........disparging allegations of the wife/victim or her family........her family has *rough* (or in other words) connections etc........LOL, yeah, ALL Italian Americans are mob connected, I FORGOT that one.

EXCUSE for being fired from job.............Oh, yeah, quitting job:waitasec:....Cloak and dagger references that he's a *secret agent man*

Oh. yeah,..........he's receiving additional threats since his wife and children were slaughtered in their beds....................:chicken:......right, that's why the husband/father is under 24/7 serveilance by LE,..........to be sure no one harms him............:bang:

Chris,...........it's all going to come out in the end. You know, during trial. You're just making yourself look like that much more of a liar or bs'er.;)

Ok, back to reading from last night and catching up. Hope you all had a good night's sleep.

:blowkiss:

From what I'm hearing there is plenty of indisputable evidence to nail CC for this, they're just getting thier duks in a row before making an arrest. It's possible that SC was doing the blackmailing of CC about the affair.

(bbm) I think above (bolded) is very plausible theory though perhaps not exactly blackmail per se. IOW it seems not that far a stretch that SC had discovered (yet again?) either another or an ongoing affair and that after likely repeated attempts to restore her marriage, she may have reached a point where she was prepared to expose her husband. Now, one must bear in mind that in their Christian faith this is not actually considered "blackmailing" one's spouse at all, but is rather the biblical principal of "accountability." He may have even convinced SC previously not to do this--what she knew was necessary to save their marriage--for fear of losing that substantial income and benefits which went along w his position. Had she discovered a continued (or new) affair however, she may have been planning to avail at least herself of the counsel and support of church leadership (and not necessarily in retaliation but if she genuinely understood this to be a last resort to salvage the marriage.)

Were this the case, yet saving one's marriage meant little or nothing to husband while the loss of one's salary and perks of one's job--as well as loss of respect or reputation w/in the community--was a price that individual was unwilling to pay, then we have ourselves a recipe for disaster... especially given morals clause w/in employment contract and sure termination, not to mention the support payments which loomed ahead for years to come. For anyone who has control issues, this could have proven the proverbial "straw."

ETA: W/in the Christian faith there is also the principle of "covering one another's faults" (transgressions) which a wife is apt to attempt, but where grace fails, there must also be some sort of consequence. I can easily envision this scenario since while it was not infidelity but abuse, the principle is the same. And as I previously mentioned, the response to exposure is seldom enthusiastic--particularly if you are dealing with a deadly dose of pride, be forewarned...
:shocked2:

The first thing an employer does when they fire/resign an employee is retrieve all property in said employees possesion. If it's not received voluntarily you report it as theft. Sounds to me like CC had this stuff as part of his job and his boss wanted it back.

...or "black male" which I find offensive. As this is a public forum, there are ways to misinterpret posts. The first signs of "blackmail" were painted on the walls of that house. If this is somehow connected to CC's job I'll be shocked.

Personally, to cover all bases...more like to "rule out" the scenario. I don't think LE is wasting time...they said it could take time to get the DNA results.

And add a coroner's inquest and grand jury, we might not see an arrest for six months. Thank goodness Conner said 8 weeks or I'd be really depressed.
