Chris had every means to protect his family -- if his claims in this business were true. So ain't that a pistol?

Oh Ummm....

Maybe we know why that business of Chris' didn't go anywhere? He couldn't deliver? OR WOULDN'T? OR decided that if he did deliver, that not being able to deliver for his own family was a bunch of 🤬🤬🤬🤬?

If some of the posters are correct it was Sheri's friends who alert LE to Miss Motive.Maybe after Sheri found out she snooped on his home computer(like most would do in same situation)she might have found files on his computer with the threats written to them and maybe also to JM and blackmail letters if JM was getting them.She might have confronted him and said I am telling JM that led into him killing them sooner then he wanted to.JMO
 
Or maybe no sleep since Friday night is making think loony...LOL not sure

Two reasons that I can think of - 1. They don't want to get "sucked in" to the family battle (the church is on CC's side, even if he's guilty as far as CC vs "outsiders" goes.)

and 2. The church frowns STRONGLY on what they perceive as gossip. It's ironic really, if the body (people who attend the church) talks it's gossip, but when the leaders do it it's discernment. I went to a church that looks to be alot like Destiny Church. And didn't someone say that it's pretty much an offshoot of JMM? Woops, there's reason #3, if these women are involved in JMM, I'll bet it's tantamount to betrayal to talk about the case at all.

Per Zillow it is worth 179K
Per Appraisal.com it is worth 217K

Also it is listed as only 950 sq ft. As you can tell the house is larger than 950 sq ft. What happened was they bought the home before the basement was finished thus they only counted the main and upper levels in that sq ft count.
 
But we're talking the scenario of re-fi .. so she would quit-claim off the deed and they would seek to re-fi with another lender to get out from under the original mortgage.

Even if she conveyed her interest in the home, in CP states or states where there are dower rights, the spouse still signs the mortgage to convey to the lender her/her interest in the home in the event the loan is defaulted and the lender forecloses on the property. The promissory note is the instrument by which the debtor is indebted to the secured party (lender). So if CC was the only debtor, then he signed the note. If required in Illinois, SC signed only the mortgage (for reason stated above).

The pic shows 4 houses and their back yards meeting up - no lake. The map shows it's a little further down the road from the Coleman's.

And the second link doesn't show much - I think you have to register to see the info. Good find though!

Thanks- the pre-foreclosure home was sold in 2003 and only has had one owner. So it can't be the Coleman's home as theirs was built in 05.

I did find the Coleman home info and posted it above.
 
Okay, I've been trying my damndest to keep up with this thread, but between being sick, power outages and being away, I can't quite seem to keep up. It's starting to move kinda fast. I've skimmed the thread, but am still really lost-

now suddenly seeing something about blackmail, a code, sheri's brother, and a deer video?

If anyone has the time or inclination to shoot me a quick recap via pm, or comment (or whatever wouldn't disturb the thread) to help me catch up, I would be really grateful:)

I also wondered about responses to Mario, but we are not perfectly sure that is really him are we? (it seems so, but...) And wouldn't it be better for him to send all of Sheri's contacts to LE and let them check things out?

I can imagine that he is desperate, but do you remember the "tip line" and the Scott Peterson case? Not saying he is not the real thing but...

I had thought to write to him -- then thought again.

Bottomline, it would be important for him to let LE do their work OR for him to do something in order to verify that he is actually who he says he is.

Perhaps he should let his cousin who is a lawyer be the one that accepts the contacts? He could give a link to their webpage, let them know who to contact there and it might legitimize the situation. That would be if his cousin is happy to take the calls.

I've been wondering but I'd hate to have that reality. IdleSleuth did ask us to consider who CC traveled with?

Hmmmm..... any number of the Meyer family or ministry members he could be referring to.

Or .. I know everyone buys that CC did it .. but maybe CC saw something he felt so grotesque in light of ministry and the person found out they were being "surveilled" and CC was told to cease and desist .. and CC got the brunt of the problem.

Never know ... CC might have been watching something or someone he should not have and with dire outcome.

This is true, they don't.
But, (always a but) why would they not have afforded themselves the time to snatch and grab every piece of equipment in his house and car.
Also, making a trip to his parents and taking theirs.

Big difference as to whether the property was transferred to one spouse's name alone and when. Illinois is a marital property state which is reasonably close to a community property state in many respects. Normally any property that was acquired during the marriage is subject to a marital claim. However if a spouse signed a quitclaim deed to the other spouse after marriage and acquisition of the property that would likely hold up. Normally property that is brought to the marriage is excluded from marital property claims absent commingling. Otherwise if the property is bought while married from marital funds, there would be a marital claim regardless of whether one spouse's name was on the deed or not, especially if it was homestead property. There is also the question of why the property was transferred. If it was to be temporary there are constructive trust theories that might impose a trust relationship on the spouse that is holding title.


Complicated and depends on all the facts.
