Just my opinion....I believe that CC premeditated the entire thing as sad as it sounds. But, he is very smart & I believe that the threats and all were to help LE look someone other than at him when the murders occurred. He knew he would be the first suspect. That's why he called LE for a "welfare check" only shortly after he had left. He was only supposely at the gym, why not drive back home to check on HIS FAMILY as soon as he supected something wrong???

justice4everi, I think I'll ride that horse with you. I'm suspicious of his call to the cops for a welfare check, especially when he was so close to the home and could have left the gym and checked on them for himself. It's as if he did not want to be the one to find the bodies. Typically most murders don't want to be the ones to discover the crime scene and the dead bodies.
Don't give him too much credit. He's not that smart if he thought he could send the cops to the house and avoid being a suspect.
Most often wives and family members are killed by someone who knows them. The husband is usually looked at first.
I suppose it will just be a matter of days until the cops name the person of interest or suspect.

I could understand that ;-) Still wading for you. Two laptops open because my IE keeps freezing up.. I will find that quote

I don't think you're going to find it and TexasMist is posting the same understanding.

Exactly Analytical...

1.) Thou Shall Not Commit Adultery
2.) Thou Shall Not KILL

What other moral codes did he break? Not buying the having JMM's electronic equipment as to why he "resigned". The affair was reported and she washed her hands as quick as she possibly could.

BTW... this isn't exactly breaking, didn't we discuss this last week?

Moral Codes....

That Guy just called Nancy a JOKE!! She cut his mic. I cannot believe she didn't tear into him. I could see the steam coming from her ears!!

That was WILD. The guy (talk show host can't remember his name) said Nancy's show was an embarrassment. YIKES. Said he embarrassed to be on the show so she kicked him off.

The guy claimed Nancy was "Covering" for the prosecutors and she wasn't telling the truth.

What in the world?

Anyone remember the guys name?

Honestly this is a pretty simple case. The problem is they did not get a confession out of him and no one saw him physically murder her or the boys. The motive is simple and how he did it is nothing out of the ordinary with someone who is trained ex-military. The method he used to try and take the suspicion away from himself is what is doing him in along with the preliminary forensic evidence that leads right to him and only him.

Yeah, pretty much a no-brainer for us. :pcguru:
IMO

I'm curious, for those of you who feel pretty convinced that CC committed this crime, what is the single most damning factor - from what we know right now - leading you to believe he is guilty?

Please limit this to one for the sake of discussion.

Not checking on the family himself even though he was close by and was free to leave the gym at anytime. Sending someone else to check on them and he's not the one to find the bodies. jmo

Stella - I posted it earlier but here it is again (bbm):

"After an internal inquiry, it was discovered that Chris Coleman had failed to follow a ministry policy during his employment. During discussion with Mr. Coleman on Wednesday, he submitted his resignation," Joyce Meyer spokesman Roby Walker said.

......"As there is an ongoing investigation, the ministry can't comment on any specifics," he said. "However, we are working with investigators and are thankful that they are doing their very best to solve this crime."

Well - they couldn't comment but here it is not a week later & they *have* commented.

Why this guy wasted everyone's time, including his own to get mic-ed up for that idiodic response is beyone me.
As a radio talk show host, he not only did a disservice to his fellow media community and this case itself with that childish contribution. JMO

McGraw Milhaven thank you. Couldn't remember his name.

He said something very strange. Claimed Nancy was covering for the prosecution. Does he know something we don't?

OT
For all of those having IE problems.
I installed the new IE 8 last week. Fixed a lot of my problems. PLUS, has a lot of new add-ons.
No need to remove the old, it overwrites. It does take a little time, away from the board.

Okey dokey...

The news releases today remind me of years ago. We had this huge butane tank that they would fill and at the end of the filling, on occasion, this fellow would do something to release pressure from the tank for some reason. With that release came a nasty shot of air - major stinky. I asked why the smell, he mentioned that the smell was added so that people would know if they had a gas leak. With the gas comes the smell...

Well...we've had the stink leak and I think it is because LE would like the perp to know a little more about what they actually do have. The perp knows very well whether there is anything ringing true to the leaks.

So is there one iota of goodness in the perp that would lead to a confession and sparing the further defiling of the deceased, having a courtroom look at the photos of their dead bodies -- hearing the facts?

IF there would be a confession, I can only imagine it would only be after the perp squeezed every last day of being out of a jail cell while they can. Then again "if" there is even a shred of any goodness that would spare the deceased the further indignity of a trial.

So much like Drew P. in Kathleen's death and Jason Young sending Michelle's sister over to their house. MOO

Just found this

Sarg May 18, 2009 6:00PM CST
Now KSDK just reported it on TV and said something about confirming that a "DVD disc" was found as well. Something about they are hoping to be able to retrieve the video files as well possible finger prints. So where did all this info come from? Did they have a news conference and not publicize it or did the MCS just get on the phone and start calling the media????? This is strange the way this news has been released.

Wonder how common it is for people to toss security system DVRs or the HDDs from them out the window?

Bet it's not that common! And even if there's nothing incriminating on the disc, that will make the throwaway look even more hinky....errr - like part of a staging of a crime??????????

I think it was just a "hook" or a challenge.. he thinks the case is wrapped up and there should be an arrest.

At least that's the way I interpreted what he said.

Maybe, maybe not. I don't get the impression after following Nancy since her days subbing for Larry that she would do something like that.
I am still poking around his site, going to watch his appearances to see if he does more of the same...maybe just a character trying to make a name for himself by being contrary.

I took it that he got ticked that she was bringing the talk back around to the girlfriend; and he didn't quite word it correctly. That they haven't brought charges yet, and what are they waiting for and that's what they should be talking about... not talking about the girlfriend.

Hey we agreed on something ;-)

Thank you! That is one I was looking for. There was a lot of speculation on here, and elsewhere that was quoted here by what it meant. IMO it's awfully strange the resignation did take place the day after the girlfriend was brought to light; as well as the day after MCS said they knew who committed this crime.
