I just checked in to see if there was news of an arrest......

I have to go out of town to a funeral today....I hope to read good news here when I come back.

The info. from the people who live near CC is wonderful....please keep it up.

Oh, I read somewhere last night that CC had taken down the memorial at his home. Did this turn out to be true?

Have a wonderful day all!

Thank you! That is one I was looking for. There was a lot of speculation on here, and elsewhere that was quoted here by what it meant. IMO it's awfully strange the resignation did take place the day after the girlfriend was brought to light; as well as the day after MCS said they knew who committed this crime.

I thought the COO of JMM visited CC in Chester the day the Post first reported the girlfriend and CC resigned that day, it was just reported the next day.

That's what I have and it worked great for weeks until about 4 days ago... now hangs on EVERYTHING!!! It is faster and more productive, just hanging now but I'm thinking it has more to do with teenage boys using my laptop than IE itself ;-)

I used Firefox for years and love it, but, I have been using Chrome by Google for almost two months now and really LOVE it. It is the perfect browser in many ways.

IMO he needed to use the gym showers.
There are pics of him coming home, I don't think he had on gym clothes.

My guess is also around three.
Working nights, I would think he didn't break-up his time to sleep pattern.
It's hard to be a day and night sleeper. He more than likely was up or out on the town till at least 2:30.

Does anyone know if he is a drinker?
Well, I don't know about that. I work the 3rd shift and we have had this discussion amongst ourselves and out of our entire 3rd shift crew there are only 2 people who stay on the 3rd shift sleep pattern. The rest of us switch to dayshift hours on the weekends. There are some errands that you just can't do on 3rd shift and most of us have family that we try to spend time with as well. It screws ya up, but you get used to that just like you do working the night hours. So he might not have kept those hours.

Hi ya'll! Trying to catch up - as usual. Makes me feel I'm on a treadmill - which is where I SHOULD be!

Couple of things...

The one most convincing piece of info for me is how rapidly - and publicly - JMM distanced themselves from CC. If there was any chance the murderer was someone else, it would reflect very negatively on them to have abandoned him so completely in his hour of need. I can't help but to believe they already know he is the killer. And if he had any truly damaging info on JMM or on JM herself, I would think they'd want to keep him close and happy. You know, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Now then, I hadn't thought about the gym clothes. I feel pretty certain there are cameras at the gym that hopefully did capture what he was wearing when he arrived and when he departed. I sure hope LE located those clothes.

And one more thing! The entire timeline of that morning disturbs me and I just realized today one major reason why. If it was time for the boys to get up and get ready for school so soon after CC went to the gym, why wouldn't he just stay home and hang out with them until they left and then go work out? If he was working graveyard, he probably didn't have a lot of time with them to begin with. Wouldn't have killed him to spend an hour with his children before they left for school. But that's just me......
I agree. Especially if there was only a matter of 15 or 20 minutes time gone by before he began calling home. I wonder what time he made that first attempt?

I am wondering if he even went to the gym. It hasn't actually been confirmed in any way that he did, has it? Maybe he wasn't even there at all.

Greetings Ginny, FoxTerrier, Mizzy BrownEyes, TallCoolOne, and the Medusa...

Nice to see your faces this AM. Thought I would hop in to see if I could do the happy dance this morning, but it looks like I have to keep practicing for a while before that happens.

Yawn... Time to start a pot of coffee and get scrubbed up, just in case there is an arrest today :)

I don't think so, SuziQ. That article is about a year old, IIRC.

It seems Coleman had the job of security overnight at the Meyer compound and traveling with Meyer as her personal bodyguard.

This is what I have gathered from what I've read.

As a matter of fact, a guest tonight on NG talked in detail about his duties. The transcript will detail it.
Does this mean you've had a change of heart and watch Nancy now? You've been converted?

Not trying to put you on the defense,

just trying to get you on the right side of de fence. Sorry for the sad pun. Sometimes I just can't help myself....

Good morning all! Not sure if this has been posted anywhere, so here is a new article in the Belleville News Democrat this morning (even though I think we knew this already):

JOYCE MEYER MINISTRIES: FATHER OF MURDERED COLUMBIA FAMILY RESIGNED AFTER MORAL CONDUCT VIOLATION.

http://www.bnd.com/372/story/774105.html

top of the day everyone! Bold is mine. hmmmm that certainly sheds a bit more light into the extracurricular activities of this dude!

Hmmm... I don't see any comments on the news website you guys were so kind to refer me to...Do I need to register first?

Kim,

You might try the search area and type in "Sheri Coleman" and it should bring up all the news articles. At the bottom of each article you can see all the comments by posters....and there are 100's of them

Just found this:

"Murder suspect arrest close"

Haven't read it yet -- don't know if there is new info in it.

I hope you are right Wrinkles, but this was posted in the "Suburban Journals" area of the website, specifically Monroe County. They only publish a couple times a week and at times give a "summation" of the last few days events.

Well...those photos were disturbing.
Thank you for that. It just confirms to me that I don't wanna check 'em out. The zip tie thing still has me too creeped out.

Now then... Just so's we can all get these times clearly affixed in our brains...

5:43AM - 6:51AM; Chris left - bodies found by police

TIME: 1 HOUR AND 8 MINUTES

1. Chris leaves, Chris calls the Columbia Police Department

Nancy Grace transcript, Aired May 13, 2009 - 20:00:00 ET
"CONNOR: He left his house at 5:43 AM, and then shortly thereafter, started calling his house, realized that nobody was answering. And on his way back at around 6:50 is when he made the phone call to the Columbia Police Department."

2. Bodies found

Bodies discovered by police
"Police are still asking for the public's help in solving the crime. Investigators especially wish to hear from anyone who may have seen something unusual along Interstate 255 near the J.B. Bridge in the hours prior to the bodies being discovered by police at 6:51 a.m. on May 5."

Repeating... :)

5:43AM - 6:51AM; Chris left - bodies found by police

TIME: 1 HOUR AND 8 MINUTES

PS. there we go -- until anything hits us to change the above

No Wrinkles!!! Don't go face the snakes & spiders, lol!!! Bat Cave = Husband hangs upside down FUNNY!!!

Anyway... anyone see this ... from the PM'd source. I hope the last part isn't true.

Police source inside the ongoing investigation has revealed there is more. The red spraypainted words scrawled in the downstairs of the Coleman home are NOT the only messages left by the murderer. The surveillance video expected to be in the recording device of the recently installed closed circuit camera is missing.

Adding insult to injury in an already emotionally charged case, internal reports have the Monroe County DA’s office at odds with the Major Crimes Division over the decision NOT to file charges against Coleman prior to receipt of forensic results.

I hope this has not been commented on already....it takes so long to catch up with these posts...and the best ones come between 12 AM to 6 AM!

The last major murder trial in Monroe County resulted in an aquital, mainly because the case and evidence was mishandled by the local police force. And the accused is walking around as in Waterloo as a free man and everyone here knows he did it.

I can understand to a degree why the want all their ducks in a row.

Hallo WaterlooInspector -- top of the morning to you!

Last evening when I found that article entitled, "Murder suspect arrest close" it had this date "Tuesday, May 19, 2009 1:15 AM CDT."

It didn't have anything new in it -- but the title was at least interesting.

Thanks for the info on that paper. I still don't have the best places to read on this down yet, oh ummm aside from in here :)

Some thoughts...

Right now how many of you have a can of red spray paint in your home or garage? (answer honestly - I have several colors but not red)

Also the radio guy on NG said their are cameras inside Gold's Gym. Maybe the camera's caught CC acting odd. (like pacing, agitated, nervous, etc while he was there - maybe other members who were there noticed he was acting different)

I have four red right now. Two are red red, and two are burgandy. I also have 14 in various shades of green, 10 purples, and then various amounts of gold, copper, bronze, 6 black, silver, several pinks, orange, 8 various blues, some tan, white, and 5 clear. We have a lot of spray paint, LOL. I have bought a dozen cans in the past month - 3 Saturday. All is less than a year old. I make garden art. Until I went and did a quick inventory, I knew I had some, but, not as much as I do. Or is this a lot? LOL Plus a lot of various other kinds of paint. And lots of adhesives, solvents, tapes, latex gloves, tiles, etc.

Medusa, that is a he!! of a lot of spray paint LOL! But you do garden art so it's all good lol.

Wrinkles
I had to read that twice cause I thought you wrote hubby hangs upside down in it because he is a bat.

LOL

BTW I read and got back to you via PM.

Stella
No journals newspapers here - use to get them in STL though - so they are not free anymore? - (cool many people hated getting them in their yards)

I am amazed they charge. LOL. You have no idea how hard it was to get them to stop throwing them when free, but, I finally got them to stop.

Good Morning. I am just finishing the first pot, and gotten a few things checked off my to do list, so enjoying some computer time. Will be off and on all day, as I have a ton to do.

I thought about that... I also thought about what if this guy didn't go himself. What if he was one of the ones that saw the supposed threatening letters, or the mailbox (that didn't look damaged to me) and didn't want to walk in there alone - so he called LE first?!?! Wouldn't you if you got a panicked phone call from a husband who showed you these "threats" and then called you before your first cup of coffee asking you to check the welfare of your family? None of it makes sense!

Maybe you need to start a Major Connor fan club and coax some answers to our little questions out of him, lol!

FWIW, I read in comments on some article (can't remember where) that the mailbox had been "knocked over".....perhaps that is why it does not appear to be damaged - as someone may have pushed the supporting post & knocked it over, not bashed the mailbox itself as we've all seen happen (with kids & baseball bats, for example).

I was afraid it was, LOL. Not sure I want DH to know my inventory. I have a thing about paint, and tape - am always buying more. Did you know you can get duct tape in a rainbow now? I still can't get over that.
