Isn't that just a PD comment board rumor? Didn't they catch him on camera leaving the neighborhood in his SUV - that's where the 5:43 came from when he originally said 5:30.
Yes. They know exactly when he left the house. It hasn't been stated it came from a camera, but I would say it is a safe bet.

Well, here are my 2 cents. They may or may not have value.

If I have my timeline straight Chris was probably around the age of 10 when his parents became Christians. Grace Bible Church's first meeting place that wasn't someone's living room used to be a bar, a bar that was not completely unfamiliar to his parents. I remember RC talking about the irony of 'I used to sit on a bar stool over there, and now I'm behind a pulpit up here' or something to that effect.

There is nothing 'wrong' with going to bars. There is nothing 'wrong' with not being Christian, and neither of these acts are going to turn your son into the kind of person who murders his own family.

But, and this is something that was honestly in my head ~15 years ago, maybe Chris already had his outlook on life set by watching his parents live what was by all accounts a very 'worldly' lifestyle. Maybe he was already destined to be more comfortable living that lifestyle than the strict 'oldest son of a respected preacher' that he was thrown into.

Maybe after living what might have felt like a lie for the last 20+ years he couldn't do that any more. A divorce would embarrass his parents, and probably cost him the $100k/yr job that he was very unlikely to ever replace. And he snapped...

That is the only way I can explain, to myself, the CC I knew having done this.

ITA, going to bars and not being Christian doesn't turn your kids into killers. But maybe there was some reason that RC turned to Christianity...maybe he needed to be delivered from something or some lifestyle. If he didn't spend time in jail, perhaps he was accused and that's where the rumor came from.

It's all speculation. It could as easily be as simple as Ron and his wife spoiled CC all his life and never held him accountable for anything, too. Since this case is wrapped in church issues, I'll add that King David, known as a "man after God's own heart" was HORRIBLE when it came to parenting - and even being faithful! And his kids were a trainwreck...One of his sons even tried to murder him! But see, David didn't control his kids. There are stories of how they raped a sister and David didn't intervene in the situation at all.

Okay, that's enough Bible study tonight! LOL

Was the bar called the Landmark/Captain's Table? (well that is what it is called now)

haha, the Landmark has always been the Landmark, and has never to my knowledge been a house of worship.

Grace Bible Church started here I'm not 100% sure of the name of the bar, maybe 'The Crow's Nest'

My bet is a camera across the street at a local LE detectives house who I am pretty sure is the LE that CC called for the welfare check on his family. This detective was knowledgeable about the "threats".

I am hoping that he had a camera set up watching the Coleman house.

YES!!! On Sharon's door! That's where MacDonald got the idea to write pig above his wife's body.

Got it! Gotta love my source google...

"Political Piggy" in family member killing
"Pig" at Sharon Tates.
"Rise" "Death to Pigs" and "HelterFSkelter" at LeBlancs

So now that we know that; what can we guess as to what was written at the Coleman scene since the PD reporter; and the reporter on NG both have referred to it as "Helter-Skelter"ish.

Or are they saying that just because messages are written all over the walls, and that is so out of the ordinary?

The Night Hawk was the name. It was located just out of the city limits, so open much later than other bars in the area. Next to Andy's Auto Body.

They may have suspected all along that CC was responsible for the threats, and set the camera up without his knowledge!

It didn't sound as if a professional 'tagger' left the messages. Messy is the picture I got when it was described.

(Readjusting my tarnished and crooked halo) Thanks, Kimster~

I even watched JM today for a few. I was curious to hear what she had to say. I learned one good saying from her. It went something like, "Excuses are reasons to keep doing it.".

This is the most religion I have had in years. LOL

Didn't that turn out to be a rumor? I thought it actually came out it was just CC's porch/mailbox cam that was really being talked about.

I knew it involved fowl of some sort. (Not foul play)

Thank you for the correction press101

Wouldn't that be something!

That is the one that has a missing DVD recorder. Unless it has been found but not revealed.

Yup. They said the paint was dripping and letters were huge. Very sloppy, but it took some time...so maybe he went crazy with the spray paint. The talk we heard earlier about painting the sheets etc. could be true.

And I thought that turned out to be a single DVD?

One would think, if he were using a 'lot' of spray paint in an enclosed area, like a house, the air would be full of micro droplets of paint. And whatever he was wearing at the time (even hair) would also be 'full' of that same paint.

I hope they collected hair samples the day of...

They could probably even find paint in the driver's seat of his car, unless he changed before leaving the house.

If it really was this overdone, where are the clothes he was wearing while doing his psychotic art work? Did he dare come back home in them? Were they tossed somewhere (gym, elsewhere?) There had to be spray on them.

Please exit my head Stella.

Wonder what time he called JM? After flailing and being tended to? At the hospital?
