Greetings dear Fran,

Wanted to tell you thank you for your earlier very thoughtful posts. It is always good to hear someone else's brainstorming. Love how WSers "think" -- appreciated reading your thinking.

Oh...and BTW, if my parents or my husband's heard about any number of the nonsensical things within the 40 years of our marriage, they would probably be shocked (and sickened, heck I'm sickened when I think back) -- they would probably also be able to match them with some of their own stupidities (and we would be shocked and sickened).

Stupidities are one thing, nonsense in a marriage is another -- sickening stupidities and nonsense are one thing -- murdering is in a class all by itself, there is no turning back, there is no undoing -- and if murder was not bad enough in itself, to murder ones own spouse and little ones ... I just cannot understand how CC is not screaming for someone to take him out for what he has done, to give him death as his recompense, no jury trial, no appeals... I cannot understand how he does not stop this ball he has in motion which will destroy and horrify and filfth up and forever torment those who must hear about it in detail. How can anyone live with that? I can't even stand living with the number of nonsense things that I have done and deeply regret. Conscience ... a seared, scarred conscience... a non-existent conscience.

As far as CC's visitors go, I would really like to hear their conversations with him. I would really hope that they implore him to do what is right at this point. And I just really wonder what he would think or do if Ms. Motive came to visit and said, "Do what is right Chris...confess."

I am glad that I am not living in Ms. Motive's skin -- not based upon what we have heard.

Nancy's back to talking about Sheri, how CC had an affair with Sheri's friend starting in 11/08, how CC told her he & Sheri would be divorced by June 14, 2009 ~ basicaly all things we know. According to Sheri's family, the mistress will be a key witness. Nancy saying she has the mistress' name and identity (something else we knew weeks ago!), also that CC & mistress had planned a wedding date for Jan. 2010.

Nancy's panel, one defense lawyer, Alex Sanchez, brings up the threats that CC received, that CC had gone to LE, and basically that there isn't proof that CC murdered his family to be with the mistress. :waitasec: Nancy's reminding him of the evidence against CC and that rigor mortis had already set in by the time LE got to the house.

I know I'm watching NG because "Sheba in Illinois" has called in to talk to Nancy and tell her what a wonderful person NG is. Does she call EVERY night???
It seems so ~ and no matter what the topic is! :D

I feel sure if LE had any evidence pointing to the fact that MM knew anything about the murders beforehand, she would be locked up right now. Not excusing the affair, but it is true we don't know what CC told her about his marriage. He may have told her they were separated and divorcing long ago. This would also give him a motive for sabotoging SC's Facebook - so MM couldn't look and see that SC was living the life of a happily married mother of 2.

I don't recall seeing anywhere that SC and MM were "best" friends. It's possible they lost regular contact with one another long before the affair, so MM may not have known that the marriage was fine - as far as SC was concerned anyway. "She would only know whatever BS CC was feeding her. It certainly appears he was willing and able to go to elaborate lengths to cover his lies.

IDK - I need to see more about the true extent of the affair and MM's possible involvment in CC's diabolical scheme. MOO

Now then.....the folks have only been to visit him once? Interesting...

Hello Analytical,

I have not mentioned how cute you are in your banana suit! You've really provided some great links in the thread -- thank you -- no wonder you are doing the happy dance :)

Excellent post, especially the part I bolded. There are lots of "Good Christians" walking around 'till they get caught.

My opinion only

There's a lot of people running around calling themselves all kinds of "good" things. CC happened to be the son of a pastor and has been "playing Christian" for his whole life. Just proves that EVIL can be found ANYWHERE.

Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than walking into a garage makes you a car. MOO

A reporter on NG said MM was smiling and serving cocktails just yesterday and was smiling and didn't seem troubled in any shape or form.

So this reporter was in the "bar" for 40 minutes, watching MM - why are these reporters not taking pictures? Hidden cameras, cell phones......

This is where I'm coming from, Fairy. You have posted far better than I have.

I heard that! I guess stranger things have happened, but it seems she'd be a little upset about her "fiance" being charged with three murders, and knowing she'd been lied to. MOO

Sweet Kimster, could it be because she was doing her job?

The other night they repeatedly said in the voice over narration that Chris told Tara he had file for divorce and it would be final on 06-14-09. That seems to be a misstatement though since no one else has stated it in that manner.

I suppose she still has to make a living, but this sure doesn't sound like she's trying to stay under the radar! Considering other high-profile cases we've seen, it's interesting the press isn't all over this woman. Now, why would that be???

Oh boy, am I gonna' get it for this. :slap:

Ok, here goes...............just because she was at work, doing her job, which includes smiling and being friendly as she served drinks to the clientelle, does NOT mean she 'doesn't have a care in the world.'

I could get into this, but I won't, but believe me, some people can put up a 'front' when it's needed. Earning money for food on the table and roof over one's head, is a good enough reason, IMHO, to put a smile and pleasant attitude when it's needed.

FWIW, she has plenty of time when she's NOT working to fall apart. Some people just do what they gotta do.

That's just my :twocents: on this subject.

Thanks, Wrinkles .. it's nice to be appreciated and we "aim to please"! :)

She may have been offered immunity for her testimony.

I suppose that's possible. But it seems improbable to me if she was, in any way, directly responsible for the premeditated murders of a young mother and 2 innocent, young children. If that was the case, I would certainly hope they would hang her from the highest tree right next to her boyfriend, uh, I mean fiance....

come on.... leave TL alone.
She has to work so she can help pay for CC's defense!

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I'm not condemning MM for being able to smile and wait on customers. I've had tragedies in my life and had to keep working, too. When my sister was dying, it was very difficult to remain poised and professional, but I did it most of the time. I found myself bawling all the way home from work and thanked the Lord I made it each day!
