I thought the marriage comment by Juan was exactly the dry sense of humor we saw sometimes during the trial. However, and I do love Juan, but I can see how JW would take that as an insult! It was a very intentional dig at JW b/c he could have easily said "suppose I had a wife and I said to my wife....". LOL. I do think it's funny, but putting myself in JW's shoes, I wouldn't want a colleague making a comment like that about me. MOO.

Nevermind the nasty barbs they did at the prosecutor's expense several times....No no double standard here at all.

This used to happen to me a lot when I was younger, now it's rather rare but still happens. The scariest, most recent one for me was when I dreamed someone was in my house, and I'm aware of it and know what's going on, and trying so hard to yell at them to get out, trying so hard to get out of bed but I can't, and my mouth moves but no sounds come out of my mouth. It's like I'm paralyzed. With me it's always been a lucid dream, which feels real and is very scary. It seems to always happen right before I wake up in the morning and spooks me for a while after.

The sleep paralysis reminded me of this weird 'thing' that happens to me sometimes. I had NO idea it was an actual 'thing', I just thought I was nuts. I had always called the feeling "Other Worldly". It happens to me about once a week or so. Very very odd. Feeling like living in a dream is the best description, imo.

Depersonalization disorder occurs when you persistently or repeatedly have a sense that things around you aren't real, or when you have the feeling that you're observing yourself from outside your body. Feelings of depersonalization can be very disturbing and may feel like you're losing your grip on reality or living in a dream.

Many people have a passing experience of depersonalization at some point. But when feelings of depersonalization keep occurring, or never completely go away, it's considered depersonalization disorder. Depersonalization disorder is more common in people who've had traumatic experiences.

It has always bothered me when threads/forums are titled with the criminal's name. I think it should be the victim's name.

The first tropical storm of the season, ANDREA, is in FL - be careful if you're in that area. Hurricane season is coming and I'm in the path - SC coast.

I went to bed last night to a soft drizzly rain and woke up to Tropical Storm Andrea warnings. I'm about thirty miles inland, so not too concerned about myself, but worried about my family members who have businesses on the water. They had terrible flooding with Debbie last year.

Why do all these TS's and hurricanes have the names of girls I couldn't stand in high school?

Hahahah!! yeah I have issues with texture The calamari looks like it has little fingers that are gonna smack my face if I put it close to my mouth... Ok , I have issues including but not limited to texture. I don't eat anything with lips either.
