I love me some Lenny Kravitz! Saw him open for U2 two summers ago in Anaheim in great seats! He and his band put on an amazing show- talented musicians and backup singers with stage presence that doesn't end- no frills.

U2 was outstanding, I have seen them many times, beginning at the US Festival in 1982 (I think)... that was a wild weekend.

Anyway, among other things they did that night that had me in tears- this was one of them:

and this as dozens of Burmese refugees walked on stage with bags with lit candles and an image cut out of barbed wire-

Must go to bed...enjoyed hanging out tonight....

Everybody sleep tight

Okay, I have to make myself go to sleep. Thank you all so much, seriously, you made me stop crying!

I'm not kidding when I say I'm going to be so ugly tomorrow. Where is the hemorrhoid cream for under my puffy eyes?

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... Morning HO hates Nighttime HO.

:offtobed:

I had one, grandma. God, I miss her. She died when I was thirteen.

What kills me now is I can't remember what she called me. Why can't I remember?? (My name had many variations, including European)

Same age as me when I lost my grandma. My favorite one too. :(

I'm so sorry your husband has cancer and lost his eye! Is his prognosis good?

I hope y'all get to a point soon where you can get another pup.

I never had kids either and my fur babies are such joy.

My husband was born with that little speck in his eye (which is very rare). It is called Iris Melanoma. He is 71. He lost sight in that eye about 10 years ago. He was a weakside linebacker at Auburnin the early 60's. We are good.

Oh, love this, my favorite song from Urban Cowboy. Thanks, TenaciousD

It's my favorite movie that I love to hate! If its on I cannot turn the channel! There's just too many cheesy scenes I cannot stand to miss. I've been late to so many things because of it... Luckily the DVR was invented! :floorlaugh:

I had lunch with my gramma every single Wednesday for twelve years. When she went into assisted living in September, we switched it up to dinner.

She's 91. She's an angel on earth. I'm not even kidding. I love her as much as I love my husband and kids.

Wednesdays with Irene! :)

You're so lucky to have a grandma. I already said it earlier and will say it again, I really miss mine. Even though she's been gone a long, long time.

Let me tell y'all something. When we lost our Schnauzer last year, it was killer in our life! We had my Shepherd and lost him at 11, but still had our little Schnauzer The Little General that ruled everything...

Tell me about it, when we lost our first Schnauzer 4 years ago, I cried and grieved for over a year. I just couldn't talk about it at all. It was so bad, I was thinking I might get a new puppy, born on the same night as our old puppy died, as in "reincarnation". I don't even believe in reincarnation, lol. That's just how desperate I was. Anyway, God eventually took care of it, he led us to our new baby, so it all worked out.

Ok. I am SO freaked out right now. My older son was born with a brown spot in one eye. He has crystal clear, light blue eyes with one big, brown speck in one eye, not in the white part. They said many, many years ago, it was a birth mark behind his eye. Should I be concerned? I never gave it a second thought...

Let me tell you something, Neesaki - If anyone ever had PTSD, it was me after losing that Schnauzer.....I had dreams of him for over a year and cannot even post pics of him or even look at pics of him...I will eventually, but that was my BABY - The Little General - "Little Man" we called him.

I would say that it should be checked out by an Opthalmogist to make certain that it is OK.
