Linda, it was chilly here in Connecticut too. After that awful heat wave, we never broke 60 today.

My garden got a good long soaking today as well. More than 4 inches of rain in just over 6 hours. A few towns north had some problems with flooding from so much rain.

My garden got a good long soaking today as well. More than 4 inches of rain in just over 6 hours. A few towns north had some problems with flooding from so much rain.

It was 62 here all day and looked like it wanted to rain all day long, but didn't. I suppose it held off until it reached you guys!

It's funny, we had the same weather here in Manitoba today. Very cool temperatures, lots of rain, and also funnel cloud sightings. I never remember having tornados here in all of my years of living here. Now all of a sudden we're getting terrible storms and tornados in Canada. Wierd.

My oldest son has been living here off and on, and right now it's off. He left us his cat, and I'm not a big cat person. I much prefer dogs. His big old fat black and white calico wants to lay all over my legs when I'm sitting in my comfy chair in the family room. She puts my feet to sleep she's so fat :floorlaugh:. She's really pretty, but really FAT.

I have 2 fat cats....buy one of those laser pointers. They LOVE them. You don't have to move, just point the laser at the wall and they go nuts.
