No. I was afraid of them. :floorlaugh:
I don't understand why it hurts the first time for women, Does it hurt the man their first time? Anyone know? I'm nosy, that way :floorlaugh:

I doubt it hurts for the guy :floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

I just have such a hard time giving up books, my husband bought me a kindle, I tried to use it. I just get zero satisfaction reading on it. I hate it.

I love books, I like the way they feel in my hand, turning the pages, sticking my book mark in, and closing it and placing it on the shelf when finished.

I love books- my guilty pleasure in life. I have so many, they don't fit in my bookcases. I have them in those plastic containers. I was thinking- just today- that I have to get rid of some of them, but it's like getting rid of my babies. :blushing: :floorlaugh:

Friday my Dr. took blood for a workup. This evening he called. Amy told him I was out shopping. He asked if I were feeling ok ,she said yes. He told her my results came in from the hospital lab. My potassium level is way up! He left a number for me to call in the morning. If I dont feel the least bit well I should call right away tonight. Asked if I took any non prescript Amy said she didnt think so. He said it could be a lab mistake. When I almost died in 2007 they couldnt keep the level up and it caused a mild heart attack, I had septicemia from bleeding U.C..carp! I'm sure he's gong to send me to the hospital lab for more blood work. Daisy Daisy!! no sugar please. Diabetes took my husband.

P.S. I had the attack when I first got to er..they gave me IV. potassium boy does that burn!!! re:Arias the 26th is next Monday. Patiently waiting. I hope and pray JS.doesnt give them more time. She'll wind up dying of old age before the trial is complete~ja....:seeya:

Sending positive thoughts your way Nore. We're here for you.

What would cause that? Salt? Maybe Zuri can tell us.

Ah, yes, the belt and napkins. Those were the days.

I was probably the last one in my class to get "my friend", or George, as we used to call him. I was 14. My sister, 15 months younger than me, got her first period the month after I did. :( And the only reason I got my very own training bra at 14 was because my sister needed one, so Mom made sure I had one too! Gee, my mom was pretty good to me.

----
Yeah, training bras. I never had one, nothing to train. After we were married my husband called them my "warts". I had measles on my wedding day.talk about luck!!

ITA. I love books and the paper. Holding a book is just so rich. My father loved books and I think because he grew up poor, they were a sign of richness for him. When I had to go through his things, I donated a lot of books to his church and the library. They were thrilled.

Nore, try not to stress out too much about this for tonight. If it was very serious, your doctor would have left a message for you to call him back or given you instructions to go to the hospital.

Are you on potassium supplements now? It does sound strange that a few years back your levels would be so low and now they are high. Could be just a bad blood draw that gave an inaccurate read.

Hoping it all works out...we're here for you!

I have shelves and shelves of books in my den and our office. In some of them they are double stacked, a row behind the front row, then some on top as well. The only books I get rid of are the ones I really, really find are not fit to read, by my own definition of course.

My philosophy, between computers, kindles and nooks, I'm afraid that books will all but disappear. Then what will happen when the network crashes and there are no books?

What then? I know, I know, I'm an apocalyptic thinker,

Still, for myself ? If I have to get rid of everything else, I'm keeping my books.

:offtobed: Getting sleepy, so I'm heading up to hug my pillow. Sweet dreams.

I have an old TV that was plugged in and never used. It just blew up. The whole house smells like electric burning. We got the TV out of the house and have fans on blowing air outside. I sprayed Febreeze. Any ideas? My husband can't sleep! Help!

Really, of all the squirrels in our back yard, we don't have a single one that has two handle bar mustaches. Ours only have one. :floorlaugh:

YES, they were call sani-pants. Not kidding. I wore them once and hid them. After that I used my own panties and safety pins. :floorlaugh:

ETA: that was in the days before the "adhesive strip". :floorlaugh:

Whew, glad adhesive strips came with those giant sized Kotex when I got mine. I thought they were horrid as it was! Felt like I was walking around with a rolled up beach towel in me panties!!!

Windows open, fans on, good. Might want to check the circuit, even turn off that breaker in case that's what caused it. Don't want an electrical fire.

Oh my goodness, be careful Zuri.
