imo, a man is usually "whipped" by a woman who gets regular sex.

There is more to DB than meets the eye. It may not be the artwork thing, I was just jumping off Nhic's post.

It may be something with his son, drugs, maybe he knew she was going to Mesa on Jun4 to kill Travis and feels guilty.... who knows?

I so can't wait for him. :rocker:

DB seemed whipped to me....her telling him no more sex....moving out of e bedroom...whipped for sure ans still is. Moo

I would love to have the body language expert (Driver) on hand when Brewer testifies. I understand they will be able to show him this time. There is so much happening in this trial that we are not privvy to, it is frustrating. I'd like to ask what happened that he's ok with his face being shown now that his former girlfriend is the World's Most Hated Woman, having very recently taken the title formally from Casey Anthony.

Perhaps he is ready for his 15 minutes of fame....selling pictures, going on TV shows.....JMO but I feel pretty strongly about it.

This is true.

There is something that Jodi has on him, and it could be a number of things.

Thanks for that reminder. :rocker:

You know how Jodi always seems to use a grain of truth with her lies? I've often wondered if she really did walk into a bedroom and see someone sitting on a bed looking at a picture...just not Travis.

Which juror, pray tell?

Honestly, Dan Gibbs seemed really confused about it all.

On the one hand, he wanted to get it right for the Alexander family, but on the other hand he said that he actually believed some of what the lying torture-murderess was saying.

Still, props for the bad haircut PTSD stress question!:clap::clap:

Not at all. As much as I hate JA not every single thing she said is a lie. She did talk about having difficult relations with her parents etc. Even I believe a few things she has said. Dan said the jury got it right. He didn't believe the pedophilia carp. I think he believed little things here and there. I think most of us did too. That's all. :seeya:

Maybe she will spill all in the grand finale? Just to save her soul?

Part of me thinks she will. Part of me, she will take this "secret" to the grave with her.

She has yet to say sorry. She continues to blame Travis for his own death.

What is sad to me is at this point the only slight chance she may have to save her life would be to confess the whole truth, admit all her lies and vindicate Travis completely, even admit that she doesn't even know why she did such a horrendous thing and beg for her life. If she expressed sincere remorse and regret for her actions she might have a snowballs chance in he!! Of getting life without parole. I'm talking about a sincere admission of guilt and remorse, something she may not be capable of. If she had gone in that direction from the beginning and not drag Travis's name through the mud, and expressed a willingness to accept any punishment the court deemed fit, she may have even gotten a chance at parole someday. Instead she has lied her way straight to death row and to he!!.

ITA. Note, too, the difference in her posture during the VIS and JM's "aggravating" presentation (those horrific ME photos). It's all an act. And, after re-watching her Crying Game, I must admit: I agree with several WS posters who think her eyes were smiling. Didn't see it at first. MAYBE that's just the way JA's eyes look when she's sad/grieving; but it WAS strange.

Very strange. As I was watching her, my thought was, man, she is acting like a grieving widow or something (with the one tear) but wait a minute...YOU Killed him, who are you kidding?

Tex, my mouth is watering here - that fried okra salad is something I MUST HAVE!

You seriously have to consider doing a cookbook... "1,000 Dishes To Eat Before You Die" - then mail a copy to JA for good measure.

SERIOUSLY, please put your recipes in the Recipe thread - we all want them!!! Alternatively, can you adopt us???

Maybe the title should be "1000 Dishes to Eat and Then You Die"!:floorlaugh:

We were just listening to that last night, I love that song. BTW, have you heard Susan Boyle sing this? Totally different of course, but also beautiful. I love her voice.

I never knew she sang this song, it's beautiful! Thanks for the tip!

There is no way that the interview could have been pre-planned with alternate locates unless it was approved through corrections. And with no offense, but ,hey, Troy Hayden was not exactly a ball of fire (although good-looking) so this interview will propel his career, which has not been much http://www.myfoxphoenix.com/story/17166825/troy-hayden

"Troy is the only local reporter ever to be embedded with the Maricopa County Sheriff's SWAT team on an actual mission."

I predict he will be CNN soon (Jane's connection Ted Turner) , remember you read it here first :)

Troy Hayden who conducted the interview is NOT the son of Jane Fonda....

I totally agree!

Ditto to what you said. As much as I liked what Dan Gibb said about most of the testimony, he said CKJA was just on the stand too long. That sounded as if, maybe, if she hadn't been up there so tediously long, she might have gotten some of the "connection" the DT wanted the jurors to have with her. Dan Gibbs got that.

(But, I thought, "What if she hadn't been up there for 18 days, so smug and contentious? Would that have made any difference with everything else?)

I was surprised that he didn't mention ALV and her preposterous lies about CKJA and lies about abuse, etc. The vile things ALV said about Travis, based on CKJA 's lies and some out-of-context texts and emails was unconscionable.

Doc $cam was a buffoon, but I found ALV much, much more insidious and dangerous, if believed.

(It's possible I haven't seen the complete interview of juror # 8 because of streaming and HLN editing. If so, I will immediately amend my comments.)

I need to step away from the keyboard. I'm keystrokes away from outing a local reporter on twitter who called Travis a "pig" to my face. Ok there I just said it. The things I've heard just make me SICK. And I'm done with that reporter. Reached a threshold of BS and cut the cord. Don't mess w/ victims families in the name of ANYTHING. Period.

Thank you! Travis was brutalized enough by the killer without some stupid "reporter" trashing him. Likely was Kiefer....sounds like him.

I agree. She seemed to really go over the edge when she got called in to testify in the misconduct hearing.

I think that really scared her & she started slanting her reporting more favorably to the defense. I really want unbiased reporting rather and reporting slanted one way or the other. Even if it's not exactly what I want to hear, if it's the truth I can accept it.

This is true.

There is something that Jodi has on him, and it could be a number of things.

Thanks for that reminder. :rocker:

TBO, I don't think we need to be postulating that here. DB is a father. That is paramount. I don't think it's appropriate to be insinuating anything like that here without proof. Things like that get ugly fast. The uglier the rumor, the faster it travels. Let's not go there..... JMO

WARNING. UNPOPULAR OPINION. WARNING.

In my not so very humble opinion, in the grand scheme of things, I think it is rather petty to call and *Tell* on DB. Everybody needs somebody, justice is being served, and if DB had the bad judgement to try and hook up to the Jodi Train, wah. the CM is going bye bye. So what if she uses someone to spout to the internet? Di I like it?NO. I am appalled for Travis' family? YES.

Please Note: I am all hepped up on cough meds and antibiotics. So I may not be clear in my above statement.

Also, I think that there are some posters that are getting hung up on tiny details that really are not an issue.:seeya:

I disagree with you. Neither DB, nor anyone else...and I will put Nurmi, Wilmott, ALV and RS in the same class.....should be defending such a cold blooded killer. I am quite sure the Alexander family disagrees with you as well.

I agree
She has nothing to loose at this point. By coming clean. If she gets the dp and later sitting on dr she decides to tell it all for the camera attention and more attention! Can she do it?
DIDNT bundy do the same?

Hope I spelled that right. I was just trying to respond to a post awhile back and it got ripped out of my laptop to be forever floating in cyber space.

Anyway ... I just had a couple of thoughts. I was wondering if we will EVER hear from any of them. Eeeaaaannnd .. I wonder if any of them are suffering from PTSD after their verdict.

I still can't believe they could NOT even find her guilty of (at least) child neglect ... or involuntary manslaughter. That verdict will haunt me forever.

I know it has been discussed and re-discussed .... but ... I just wonder off sometimes. I am still so mad at the jury foreman (the PE teacher) ... I think (moo) he was quite pushy, aggressive and arrogant ... I think he brow beat some of the others who were having difficulty with the jury instructions and deliberating. In fact, I don't believe for ONE second that they even DID deliberate, in the legal sense of the word.

Oh well ... I am VERY thankful that THIS jury got it right. Thanks to our Juan. I am ruined for other prosecutors now ... there'll never be another like him. He is just absolutely amazing. Professional, prepared, passionate .. always hundreds of steps ahead of all of the witnesses.

I love him :blushing: Please keep my secret ... I trust you all because ... well, I have a lotta carp on all of ya ...

Human beings appreciate the truth, even when the truth is ugly. People can make mistakes, even horrible ones, ones they can't take back that cause terrible pain to others.

It's very hard to continue to hate deeply when the other person shows such complete and utter remorse for what they did and it's hard for them to live with themselves. (usually they show that kind of horror when they accidently discover they killed someone)

but still, we are human. I can't drum up one feeling for her other than I wish her to be put to death because she has not only killed an innocent person in such a horrible way, but she has fabricated such an awful untrue story to go with it.

I could put the iv in myself

I watched that ID Network show on the trial and I had to laugh when Kiefer (sp?) said this is not a reality show. I thought well JA fooled you; it was JA herself who decided if she was going down, she was dragging TA with her, and she would draw this out as long as possible.

If I didn't know better I'd believe she has casted and produced the whole DT. She knows there is 'money in crazy' and Gus, Samuels, ALV, Nurmi, her testifying, the interview after conviction, her unpredictability, that all makes for good ratings in TV.

I have to wonder if in her mind we are all puppets or voyeurs for her show

I laughed because apparently Kiefer watches Jersey Shore. He certainly knew the story line.

DB was a convicted arsonist. Someone asked, but I forgot where, so didn't quote.

I wonder if DB is allowed in bars or any place that serves alcohol. Sure looks like she is in a bar here, where she is giving a statement about Jodi: http://abcnews.go.com/meta/search/i....go.com/images/US/abc_arias_friends_mi_130220
She is not allowed to "consume or drink any substance containing alcohol" but it doesn't say she can't be in a bar. Other than restitution the only other restrictions listed in the court order are no contacting the victim, and to participate/cooperate in counseling or assistance as directed.

You can find the terms of her probation online:
http://www.courtminutes.maricopa.gov/docs/Criminal/052009/m3729839.pdf

Regarding association with other criminals, the Uniform Conditions of Supervised Probation reads "I will obtain written approval of the APD prior to associating with anyone I know who has a criminal record". I don't know whether or not this is part of her probation because the court didn't list it, but if it does apply to her she may have written permission.

I'm beginning to doubt that anonymous person's account, but guess we'll see...

DB seemed whipped to me....her telling him no more sex....moving out of e bedroom...whipped for sure ans still is. Moo

There is really something wrong with him, IMO. To keep associating with her, knowing she is a murderer means he really has a gap in common sense and has an odd moral code as well.

DB

Donavan Bering, convicted felon, friend of some family members, was selling artwork.

Darryl Brewer ex boyfriend, reported mitigation witness.

Maybe we need "CFDB," or something like that. Though both DB's seem CKJA friendly, to the extreme.
