If I had the nerve I'd ask my mom what it was like when she gave birth to me and my 2 siblings. We don't talk about "stuff like that," I'm even embarrassed to talk to her about my period :floorlaugh: . But I'm SO curious.

Sometimes they have those programs- I forget what channel- where they show women having their babies. You should look into that, maybe.

There's some kind of miracle right after you have your baby and look at him/her, you magically forget the pain. No kidding, m :therethere:

I tried to get my Queen avatar back, but it wouldn't let me post it - maybe I'm really no longer The Queen :floorlaugh: (this will have to do in the meantime).

I've heard this from numerous mothers, so that makes me feel a little better.

You'll always be The Queen to me :) (totally sucking up here :floorlaugh: but I love ya!)

Gonna finish watching Ink Master (AWESOME show on Spike!) and head to bed. Goodnight all! Love you :)

:offtobed:...I'm dragging my tail and feel the sandman sprinkling sand in my eyes, so I'll wish you all a good night and sweet dreams.

Daisy might be watching tennis? We hope?

LOL! I love sitting in my bed on my laptop. My husband pointed out that a bed is not meant to be occupied 24 hours a day but I disagree. I sleep, work (writing) and cruise the internet from my big plushy bed. I'm in it right now!

My MIL does everything in her bed. When she's not doing something, she's in her bed. She watches tv from there and even eats her meals there. When we visit her home, we all congregate in her bedroom and eat snacks, sometimes meals, and watch tv in there! LOL! She can't stand sitting on a chair or couch now.

Do u have a tv in yuor bedroom? 'Cause I really want one in mine b/c i LOVE watching movies and tv in bed, but everyone says it's not a good idea to put a tv in your bedroom. I suppose I could watch movies on my laptop, but it's kind of old. Can't wait to upgrade to a new laptop.

I'm heading to bed with Frazier and Niles.
Goodnight all :seeya:

this so called woman in PA went to a sports bar and gave birth to a baby boy her mane is Amanda Heil she went into a bathroom and gave birth ripped the cord off of the baby and put him a trash bag them put him in the back toilet tank. went back to her table had a drink and a smoke went home and changed clothes then back to the bar and partied with her friends. <modsnip> I am so sick Nancy Grace is going to explode

Yea, see there is something not right in the head of a person who does someting like that. But yet when CMJA did what she did, they're trying to blame it on her "mental illness." EVERYONE WHO DOES THINGS LIKE THIS IS MESSED UP IN THE HEAD. I hope her second jury gets this.

M- don't be afraid. They have epidurals for the pain and not everyone has the same birth experience.

And DON"T GET YOUR LABOR INDUCED. (unless it's like a medical emergency or something). This hurts like hell. I think it's because of the meds they give you to start your labor. I thought my pain was normal, I thought it was just me who was a wimp and couldn't handle it. I think I had to get MULTIPLE epidurals. I couldn't imagine how anyone could go thru it without epidurals or have some peaceful experience in a bathtub with rose petals and violins playing a la Gisele and other models/movie stars. But thennnn....last year my SIL had a baby with induced labor, she had already had 2 previously which were not induced, and she said the third (induced) one the pain was MUCH WORSE. She also said the pain was unbearable. So then I felt better :)

I also just read recently that autism has been linked to induced labor. Maybe that explains the increase of autism in higher income births.

My first born was an emergency c-section, so I had the epidural which blocked out all the pain (ahhhhh, relief). I had a few staples, but I bounced back pretty quick. I was so scared of the hard labor I had with him though (even the nurse couldn't believe how close together the contractions were) that I begged for a c-section again with my second. The doctor asked me if I would have a natural birth if he could guarantee it would be pain free. Sure....sign me up. Pain free is great. Had the epidural again, but what they don't tell you is that when you don't "feel" down there you can "tear". I probably had close to 20 stitches. He had a BIG HEAD. :floorlaugh:.

Don't let anyone discourage you m. I've heard of ladies that say they would do it a dozen times their labor was so easy. But however it goes, having children is the most emotional experience you'll ever feel. And when you hold them for the first time you fall in love. Babies smell so good (well not always), but after bath or diaper change (baby powder, my favorite scent), or when you baby oil them up.....there's no smell like that in the world.

Oops! Going to bed tonight FOR REALS this time :) Goodnight all!

Btw...for those of you who follow the NFL, Billy Cundiff was just signed by the Cleveland Browns (I hope that terminology is correct, I don't follow football lol). I grew up with him and he was my very first boyfriend....in 4th grade :)

Very interesting, I'm glad I didn't know that going into it! The whole thing was so weird...my doctor just said, ok well let's induce it next Wednesday, and at the time I didn't even think to ask her why she felt it was necessary. I believe it was still very close to my projected due date. I was very confused, but I think she thought that the baby would get too big and I would have to have a C-section. Also maybe she didn't wanna take the chance of something going wrong if we waited. I don't know, she never told me!!

Mods, did you delete one of my posts which was a response to another post, and that post is no longer here iether? Just curious....
