How old is the teenager? How old we're you when you gave birth? A lot has to do with the age of your bones. Teens have a more pliable pelvic structure.

She is 27- not a teenager murderer- and I was 20.

She is 27????? OMG. I saw her pic and not really paid attention. OMG.

Well, YoNo, I think you must have been a drama Queen back then instead of Queen Alexis. Kidding of course. 2 1/2 hours would be considered a precipitous labor. No wonder you were screaming.

How can anyone do that?? WHY I am just outraged. If you google where the bar is there are so many hospitals and fire stations near there. We have the safe haven law in PA this was not needed. No questions asked just drop the baby off.

My parents always had music going. They sang and danced; my father playing his guitar, and my mother on her piano. My dad taught my brother (to play at twelve, and my brother taught himself to play the piano, the fiddle and the mandolin. Every Saturday night he'd come play guitars with my brother. You could depend on "Please Release Me", "Walking The Floor, and Hello Walls". I have a great admiration for those that play and I love watching a good guitar player.

I've always loved this song. Close you eyes and do the Texas Two Step.

He started a band, like to so many at the time, and won an audition to play on Mr. Peppermint. Their "song" was to be Wine Wine Wine. He's had and been in several over the years. He won best keyboardest one year, and did play out of state until 2005.

That was the worse year of our life. Something every month, and in June he played on a cruise ship out of Corpus Christie. He said he started feeling bad and was glad the set was over. He was hoping laying down would help, but it didn't and the doctor was with him till the ship got back to shore two hours later. He had a mild heart attack and had a stent inserted and is fine. He stays close by because he said he never wants his son to go through bringing him back to Texas.

My Uncle Benny died that September. It was getting almost to hard to take; you wondered what would be next, and if you have the strength to face it.

OK wake up now and think of the good times back then.

M- don't be afraid. They have epidurals for the pain and not everyone has the same birth experience.

YoN...lovely new picture you have!

M, my son was born 23 years ago. No enema, but I did get the shave, which I'll never forget. I was so afraid of getting nicked by the Antiguan nurse shaving me. Every time I felt a contraction coming on, I'd ask her to stop...told her I was afraid. She started laughing at me..."Oh, honey, you no haf to worry about a ting. This be a safety razor."

Yeah, like a safety razor can't cut...you just shaved my hair with that "ting".

I still laugh now thinking about that.

No matter how easy or difficult the childbirth experience is, the joy of seeing a healthy newborn baby overshadows any labor pain. Words cannot truly describe the powerful emotions one feels when laying eyes on that precious newborn.

If I had the nerve I'd ask my mom what it was like when she gave birth to me and my 2 siblings. We don't talk about "stuff like that," I'm even embarrassed to talk to her about my period :floorlaugh: . But I'm SO curious.

There's some kind of miracle right after you have your baby and look at him/her, you magically forget the pain. No kidding, m :therethere:

I tried to get my Queen avatar back, but it wouldn't let me post it - maybe I'm really no longer The Queen :floorlaugh: (this will have to do in the meantime).
