Wow Mrs G, thanks! I had no idea. But come to think of it, I have heard about many cases lately where someone is arrested based on something they said on Twitter. It just goes to show that today's generation I don't think understand the implication of having EVERY SINGLE THING they say online recorded FOREVER. Forever. That is just crazy. I think they purposefully went after Tara b/c they know she's younger and that she is probably more active on Twitter/Facebook...also CMJA's brainwashed friends have been following her post-verdict interviews/webimars and stuff, so they know she was active in these things. I also think CMJA has somehting personal against Tara b/c of what Tara said about CMJA staring her down in court.

I think JSS should make it VERY CLEAR to Nurmi that CMJA and her friends are to leave Tara alone and not go digging into where they don't belong. It could even be seen as harassing a former juror, b/c I'm sure JSS can come to the conclusion that CMJA's "friends" on the outside are the ones finding this info. and passing it along to Nurmi. Like when Demarte's laptop was stolen or whatever that was...don't know if that was true or not...but this sounds along the same lines. And JSS Should be VERY CLEAR to Nurmi that CMJA's friends are to STAY AWAY FROM TARA.

Hi aa9511, I am patiently waiting for tomorrows session. You are so right! Judge JSS. better do something about putting DT. in place. Any juror with common sense would not put anything about the trial on twitter, FB., or any other place . They would be in big trouble and they know it. I dread seeing KN. and JW..again! I wont even mention JA.. a while back HLN ( I think Nancy) said they will keep us up on the trial. Even if not TV'd we will be in the know. I just hate the thought of her ripping apart Travis with lies as far as I am concerned..:seeya:

I think it may have started because Tara was active on FB so soon after the trial, and because she had tweeted during the trial (and I think to Mark Eiglarsh of all people).

Anyone who sticks their head up in this case is scrutinised, that is just the way it has been, I noticed a few people on Twitter discussing her in not so kind terms early on, although they are a lot kinder towards her now.

The question has been raised, if she was active on Twitter during the trial, was she going online and reading? It is possible, actually, it's likely, most people don't tweet and not read. Refer to discussion about her Tweeting to Mark Eiglarsh from HLN >> go to 23 mins here >> http://www.blogtalkradio.com/websle...as-true-crime-radio-sunday-night-8-pm-eastern and let's face it, that is an issue! She was an alternate thank god, but the jurors had the opportunity to view social media, and we know it was crazy, so it does make you wonder if she did follow the admonition.

There is a reason she is being criticised.

Technically, based on this copy, she did not tweet to Mark Eiglarsh. Someone re-tweeted her tweet, which had nothing to do with the trial, to Mark Eiglarsh months later. She responded to the re-tweeter not to Mark Eiglarsh.

Did anybody listed to Beth Karas on Trish's True Crime Radio tonight?

It was good...I always enjoy listening to Beth and tonight it was more than just snippets.

Her very interesting piece was about her interview with Travis's roommate Enrique. It sounds like Enrique was very much a steady Eddie in terms of his routine, so he did get back home on June 4th between 6 and 6:30. Beth asked him if the washing machine was running when he got home. He said no, it was not. He figures that CMJA must have been hiding in the house when he got home, perhaps in Travis's office. He went to his room and figures that she finished her clean up, including starting the washing machine.

Creepy.

If anyone wants to hear more of what Beth said regarding the trial, just ask, and I'll fill you in or you can listen http://www.blogtalkradio.com/websleuths/2013/08/26/tricias-true-crime-radio-sunday-night-8-pm-eastern

Oh...thanks for clarifying that!

You are quite welcome and this is why this should not have been included in this document without SOME kind of explanation. Several people have made this mistake and if you are not somewhat familiar with twitter, that's what it's going to look like. It took me a few seconds after looking at all the names and dates. No way even Juan is going to know what is happening here (I believe he once referred to it as "tweetering").

KIM that Juan has access to a full staff. A capable staff member will look at those exhibits and be able to determine what transpired.

Juan is sharp enough that when his team members explain this to him, he will be able to present it to JSS so that she can understand as well.

Wow gcharlie I didn't know you lived on a boat before! That's so cool. I just came back from a vacation is Los Cabos (!!)....anyway, a small rainstorm was coming through, and the day before the rain started the winds had already picked up, and that was the day we had decided to do a little glass-bottom boat tour. Anyway, we came a little out of the marina, and my husband and I felt so nervous b/c the boat seemed so small, so we cut the tour a little short and asked him to go back!! I'm sure it would have been fine, but I have no experience with the ocean, so I don't really know what kinds of things different kinds of boats can handle, and I was just nervous going farther out. The waves were pretty choppy. After that, I got to thinking how brave the sea-men were back in the day, when they would just set out not even knowing what was in store ahead of them, no idea if there was even land!!

Is Los Cabos pretty? I watched Bethenny Ever After on Bravo where she went to Los Cabos and stayed at a really ritzy resort. I think it was the Palmilla. The water looked fabulous and I wish I could go there some day. I have never been to Mexico, except when the cruise ship stopped in Cozumel. :seeya:

We were trying to refit Eilean; she's a 1936 Fife Bermudian ketch, loa 96 ft. We were living on the deck for a while because the interior was gutted. Tons of fun with a baby! Little bit of trivia...the music video Rio by Duran Duran was filmed using Eilean.

http://www.eilean.it/en/home/

We ended up raising an old 72 foot work boat that had sunk in the mangroves and converted that into a workshop and living quarters.

The refit of Eilean was too big of a job, both in terms of work and money. She was finally sold to the Italian watchmaker Panerai and was relaunched in 2009.

Wow! What a beautiful sailboat. I am fascinated that you lived on a boat deck with a baby no less! You are extremely cool.

Thanks for the link...so informative. Why on earth would she even consider tweeting Mark Eiglarsh?! She must have known who he was. And did he know who she was?? B/c she tweeted something like, "we're allowed to use social media, just not to discuss the trial," which would suggest that he knew she was on the jury?? I just find this whole thing bizarre, and feel really bad for her b/c I'm sure she did not mean to do anything "wrong," it just seems like a mistake that she was not even aware of. But I am piz*** at Mark Eiglarsh, b/c I don't know what his part in this was, but he should not have even allowed her to have contact with him. Again, I don't know the specifics, so just saying from what I saw/heard. Argh. Just wish this whole thing had not happened.

I understand what you mean about the reading part. That is a good point. But in JSS admonition, I thought she made it crystal clear that they were not to read anything about the trial anywhere. How she could have not understood that, I don't know, so maybe we can have hope that that didn't happen. But like you were saying, let's say she's following Mark Eiglarsh, I'm sure he tweeted something about the trial every day to promote DDrew show. So even if it seems harmless, that is obviously reading something about the trial!

WS has been running smoothly and speedy for 3 days!:clap::clap:

Of course, but he's probably not going to be able to look at it and figure out who's tweeting who. If I didn't have a twitter I would be totally lost. He definitely has people helping him though, as he doesn't strike me as the kind of person who keeps up with gossip, social media, and the like.

I also didn't mean the "tweetering" thing in a derogatory way. I thought it was adorable, lol

Mark Eiglarsh did absolutely nothing but receive a tweet. Tara did not tweet him.

Thank you for explaining about the tweets. I don't follow twitter nor do I know anything about it. I wrongly thought she was tweeting during the trial. :seeya:

I have a question. Have any of you had a nightmare haircut? How long did it take to grow back and what do you do to make it right? I need advice.

Well...she was, but not about the trial. Her inital tweet had nothing to do with it. Her defending herself in May about her tweeting is a little sketchy, or it can be seen as such. She is not discussing the trial to say she cannot discuss the trial, but it seems she may have been reading accusations against her relating to her jury duty/admonition? Which is also not discussing the trial either, but she is in dangerous territory. And how did they even know she was a juror? I'd think we'd need to see the lead up to this one tweet, but from this one tweet, she was not discussing the trial and tweeting during the trial is permitted. So she's innocent of the charges!

Hair grows about 1/2 an inch a month. How much was cut off?

My hair grows very fast so I can't help you. how fast does your hair grow? Maybe you can go somewhere else and have it styled a little differently? Maybe you needed a change? How long is your hair normally and now after the cut? Does your husband like it? Maybe you'll like it better in a few days? Does any of this help? :)

Yes, it's very pretty...but disclaimer is that I haven't been to that many other beachy places...I think only 2 previous (Destin, and California once for 1/2 day). The thing with Los Cabos I loved is that the beaches are not crowded, at least when we were there. And there are a lot of resorts, so I think a lot of resorts have their own beach for the people from their resort. But a lot of these are unsafe for swimming b/c of hard currents, and they have pools with views of the beach/ocean, so most people just stay in the pools. It is very relaxing. But even the beaches safe for swimming are not that crowded. Staying in a resort was definately the best part of the whole trip for me, and they have different levels and price points.
