I was always small like anthills and now I have cannons. They get in my way. Mother Nature gave these cannons to me and I am not sure I like them.

Hi Kensie, my husband always called them my warts. Now they have become melons, one bigger than the other from slicing meat in the Deli for years.:floorlaugh: :seeya:

Sulamith, it really wasn't rude at all. He was joking when he would say it and I knew it. Joe was a loving man that is why we were married 57 years when he died. I really miss him.

They sure are! My husband has been gone ten years...it never gets any easier.

I would love to be 5'9". Maybe when I grow up, I will be tall.

I'm watching tennis and wondered just how tall Pam Shriver is and discovered she is 1-2" taller than me! Wow that's tall. LOL But i am much more lanky than she. Other tall women are Bea Arthur and Jane Lynch and Jane is lanky, too.
FYI :floorlaugh:

Pam is 4th cousin to Maria Shriver. :)

Someone posted a link to this article the other day http://kristinarandle.com/blog/alyc...-we-are-still-not-buying-what-she-is-selling/. I notice she is writing a book about JA from a psychological perspective. It might be interesting to check out when it comes out.

"Jodi Arias Book Forthcoming

I am currently writing a book about Jodi Arias. It will be comprehensive, thorough and will largely focus on the psychological aspects of the case. If you have a story about Jodi because you knew her, have questions about her or the case, or have general psychological questions pertaining to the case, email me at dr.randle at kristinarandle.com; they may be incorporated into the book."

I know exactly what you mean, Sweetiemom. My husband has been gone 13 years and 6 weeks. He was/is my hero.

I'm sorry about the loss of your husband. It sounds like you two had a great marriage and many fond memories to help keep him close to you.

As for your "warts"...at least they grew! Mine never did. Still, I would much rather be under-endowed than over endowed any day of the week. Cannot understand why women are having themselves surgically altered to D cups and above. I don't find it attractive and breasts that large have to be a nuisance and cumbersome at times.

Nore, sending special thoughts your way on this anniversary. Treasure those memories and feel the love in your heart. Death can steal our loved ones from us, but it can't take away the memories or love.

Thank goodness for that.

There's a new Monopoly piece being presented this Fall. It's a cat and replaces the iron.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
New versions of the game with the feline in place of the iron have been shipped and soon the household appliance will become nothing more than a distant childhood memory for some while the cat prances its way around Baltic avenue and the like.
