I thought I was in the wrong place for a second...

wow...nipples/implants

we have certainly covered lots of ground in the Jodi Arias forum :)

hopefully these strange topics won't scare away any new readers/posters who are interested in the case.

We're discussing Jodi's implants and maybe a butt lift. She has a bubble butt and we're wondering if she had it lifted or outfitted with extra padding.

Any dog ppl here? My year old German Shepherd has horrific separation anxiety. Every time I have to leave the house, which is usually once a week, he takes all kinds of things outside. He takes shoes, my daughter's Victoria Secret lingerie, remotes, DVDs outside. He also takes other random things. We have disciplined him like we have our older, smarter female shepherd. I don't know what to do. He is normally so well behaved. He is so big, I hate the thought of crating him for long hours. He has an extralegal large crate and he jus fits. Am I too soft?

Definitely not too soft. I have no suggestions.

Is the yard fenced in? Try putting the dogs outside more instead of keeping them in most of the time, and leave stuff out there for them to play with. Try leaving the house every day for just 10 minutes and come back until they get used to you leaving and learning you're coming home soon. Gradually add a few minutes at a time. They will get used to it and be happy you are home. What say you? :seeya:

Do you leave his crate open for him to get in it on his own? We babysit my daughter's dog everyday, and she puts herself in our small bathroom. When she does something she knows better she puts herself in time out. One time she took a loaf of bread with her. I guess she thought well I'm going to get in trouble might as well my while.

Try putting a small blanket with your smell on it and see if putting it in his crate helps.

Hey there, I know just how you feel. We had a German shepherd for 12 yrs. Oh how I loved my raven. Its been 4yrs and I miss her terribly. BUT she did not like me leaving the house without her. If I was home she was happy being in the
yard or come inside when she wanted. One day I went Xmas shopping was gone all day, when I returned she had torn all of the siding off the house by the door and down the side by the gate:eek:

Dh said that's it! He came back with a large dog run 6'x10' put her dog house on there, after that when we needed to go out she was fine and safe in that run.

What's funny to me is we could go on vacation for a week (had relative house sit) and she was a Angel. Now we have a toy poodle and she travels with us:)
I don't think you are soft only question is the dog safe when your not there?
Ciao

I'm a dog people. Our Schnauzer is crate trained. We keep his crate in the breakfast nook adjacent to our kitchen. And, it's not ugly, as we have it covered with an attractive fabric covering that coordinates with our kitchen colors.
Whatever, we don't even notice it, it's just our babies' private "room", lol.

Anyway, we leave it open for him throughout the day. He loves to go in there and rest, for much of the time. There are times he gets on the couch to cuddle with us. But if we aren't there to cuddle with, he prefers his crate. It is very comfy after all, with a thick mattress and plush topping. Basically, it's his own little private "den". Which makes sense since dogs actually are "den" animals.

Every dog, every breed is different, so I can't really speak to yours. This is just our experience with our miniSchnauzer. Hope it helps a little. :seeya:

They go out through the dog door freely. I like the idea of leaving a few minutes at a time. He is still a puppy as male shepherds don't mature until 1 1/2. My female did this but stopped at a year. This has been a conundrum and costly. Thanks for the advice! How much is your :twocents:? :seeya:

The dogs are safe as they are limited to the back yard which is very private and has woods. OMG you must have died when you saw the siding missing! GSDs are so smart but they get back at their people for leaving the pack! Would love it if they could come to horse stuff.

Thanks so much for the advice. I have 2 extra large crates in my bedroom. That I too have covered as they like the den atmosphere. They hated the chenille foam pad I put in there.LOL. once I took them out they sleep in there. They are in my room as it easier for me to feed them in here.

I just realized my room is one big dog crate. :floorlaugh: thanks for helping.

I often see my male shepherd putting himself in the crate as he know there is a time out.! I will put pillow cases in with it. Great idea! :gthanks::gthanks:

I think it will help ... and bring them a treat back. My dogs love slices of cheese for example.

I charge $100. an hour for pet therapy.

My living room and bedroom floors are covered with dog beds. Aren't door dogs great? I love the ones I have.

Zuri, I sympathize with your puppy situation. I know a sweet dog who tore out lots of a bathroom wall while suffering separation anxiety.

Something that works for lots of dogs with anxiety is a Thundershirt. One of my beloved granddogs is high-strung. If he sees me holding one of the very fitted sweaters I made him, he comes running to have it put on, as it calms him. The Thundershirt's working for a rescue dog I know. He must have had some very bad experiences as a stray, and it's like PTSD - if he sees or hears a reminder, he shakes and whines and can't relax. The Thundershirt thing calms him right down.

Since your baby's a pup, no point in getting one for him - he'd just outgrow it in a hurry. Maybe a little-bit-tight dog tee shirt? Just a thought....and I wish you and your furchild luck.

Hi all, just stopped in as I cant sleep and had a coughing fit! My Buffy is a shelter. He's Springer Spaniel and so pretty. He doesnt destroy anything but is attached to my socks! When I go out he stays inthe house, folds up in a corner with a forlorn look. He just lays there so sad. I cannot move from one room to another without him. He follows me. If I'm in the bathroom he lays outside the door. He is so afraid I will leave him. God Bless his little heart someone really loved him before me but he lost them. He understands English! :seeya:

Completely off (dog) topic here, and I hope it's ok to ask- if Donovan is not doing the tweeting, is it known who is? Did Donovan get in trouble for the tweeting, and was her crime burning down a dental clinic? (I work in one, and have always wondered)
