I'm hanging in there YesorNo. How are you? I hate your internet company :snooty:. How dare they keep The Queen from speaking. :nono:. :floorlaugh:

I hate them, too. My son uses the internet and since he graduated from college this past Spring, he's on it a lot. Oh, well- such is life. :banghead:
I just found out today that I could up my bandwidth allowance, but it would cost me $130 per month :stormingmad: (I pay $85 per month- just for the internet now!!!). I decided not to up it.

Love the friendship poem! And I only got five of those questions right.....so I'm feeling a bit SLOW. :blushing:

questions 4, 6, and 8 are very tricky.
I never take tests anymore- so I don't know how stupid I'm getting in my old age :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh:

My allergies were bothering me this past week and I have bad rheumatism in all my joints when the weather change very fast, so I've been feeling poorly. Better today, tho'.

Thank-you very much. :loveyou: :heartbeat: :tyou: :blowkiss:
(and you wouldn't give her your meatloaf that day  :floorlaugh:)

That's funny I'm making meatloaf today. My family says I make the best meatloaf. I will share the recipe if anyone wants it.

Good to hear you're feeling better today YorN. My joints bother me something awful when the weather changes too. I dread the winter when my hands shrivel up and look like my grandmothers. :panic:

I make mine with onion soup mix and tomato soup, and I grate some cheese into the mix. The same recipe gets boring after a while though so I would love to try something different.

Evening, sis :seeya:

I would like some daisies , too, please.
Just had an electrical blackout for 5 hours. It's so sticky here today. We had a big storm this afternoon and it knocked out the electricity. I'm so glad we now have electricity. I feel so grateful and undeserving. How did people survive without electricity. I'm grateful for our hurricane lamps and flashlights, too.
The ACs are blowing full blast now and it feels so good.

So, Molly is pregnant- how wonderful. She'll have "Irish Twins" now.

---------
YesorNo, are you West of Ohio? its been in the 90's here but due to cool off. I hate big storms but feel the handwriting is on the wall! If it is west of us we usually get it. I also hate losing electricity, like I'm alone at that! :floorlaugh: :seeya: I thought of something hysterically funny I read on Yahoo today, I'm afraid I'd get banned. Listed as an article I've never seen one like it, the article I mean.

YesorNo, nice to see you. Do you have any "funnies" for us? I could use a laugh.

I have a funny story, I just can't stop laughing. I bought a house last month. It's six years old but no one has ever lived in it. Since I got such a good deal it was as is. The toilets wouldn't flush right, so I called a septic tank company, (because I was told I had a septic tank). The company came out and found sticks, rhubarb, and found out the main connector was cracked. They had to dig down about 12ft to make sure the line was clear. Come to find out it's sewer not septic. It cost me $1500 and I've only been here a month. Isn't that hilarious. Oh and now the hot water won't get hot only luke warm, it will be a grand to replace that. I can't wait to see what else my new house has to offer.:floorlaugh:

Depending on how many you have to feed, I have to feed six. So I get two lbs. of meat, add two eggs ( fun mixing that with your hands) then I add chopped onions, fresh garlic about a 1/4 cup, barbeque sauce and here is the secret ingredient, frosted flakes or you can use barbeque potato chips. Just mix that real good with your hands. Put it in a meat loaf pan for about 45 min to an hour.

Well been busy moving and trying to work, trying being the operative word. Wanted to see what everyone was talking about since no high profile cases are going on. Hope I'll be able to visit more now that I have some of the boxes empty. Still have a garage full but I have 30 yrs. to unpack. You guys have a good night.

legalmania I hear you. We bought an old house, and the previous owners hid many things from us. The first year we were here the basement flooded out and I lost everything that was down there. The worst was losing all of my photos. I even lost my babybook :( things that couldn't be replaced. I hope you get things sorted out.

I know we're not supposed to talk about anything to do with that other trial that won't be named, but what is up with that guy? I think he's an unstable person, and he has a lot of anger issues.

Please mods no TO :please:. There's nowhere to talk about that, and it's so in the news.

Stopping in for a few minutes. waiting to get a bit more tired before turning in but it wont take long.

It was very hot and steamy here today. To hot to cook, so I just made sandwiches of turkey, cheese, tomato and thinly slice zucchini with guacamole dressing on chibata rolls. Yum. Cooked a few ears of farm fresh corn.
I make a few different versions of meatloaf. One has a package of dry Lipton soup mix, and I add catchup and mustard, plus chopped up onions and of course bread crumbs and a egg. Really tasty. Another recipe I do for meatloaf contains, the egg bread crumbs and a jar of salsa. Very easy and very yummy, quick and really no fuss. Both are big hits here.
I have been reading up on the Elaina Seinforth case and more recently that poor 7 year old girl, Willow. How tragic and brutal. Can't figure out how people can be so demented.

Still hunting for jobs. Many jobs applications put in the last few weeks. I think I have extinguished all postings I may be qualified for. I guess I should give it a break for a few days and maybe there will be a new batch coming in. I do have a test to take next week for a City Job. Wish me luck. I will be studying for it. It is a time critical test. Should be stressful. Unfortunately, those jobs are given to those who already know someone. But what luck, turns out I know someone from school that works for the Mayor. Maybe if I pass the test and get in the top 10 *long shot since there are at least 100 people applying and testing* maybe my chances will increase.

So, how is everyone doing?
