Hi Fuskier, this is ridiculous! how can one 1st degree murderer cause a trial to drag on so. I think we have all had it with her. She's going to prison one sentence or the other so why go thru all this because of DP.? No appeal is ever going to get her off after what she did to Travis. Put her in for LWOP and have it over with. We dont always get what we want in life. I know you will agree, think everyone does. Enough is enough. :banghead:

Hello y'all!!!! Long time no see!!! Just thought I would pop in and see what if anything was new on the retrial. I've been following along on the updates on Twitter so I think I may be up to date. Have we seen anything else that verifies that the retrial will start in January?

Good to see you JSR, haven't seen you around in a long time! I hope all is well.

Nothing confirming any exact date yet. Someone will post as soon as we know, on a couple of threads down here, so keep checking.

It's good to be back! I had to take a step back from all trials and crime related stuff after I got off a jury I had been selected to sit on in June/July. I ended up being the foreperson and the crime was gruesome and I just had to take a break for a bit.

The murder was actually committed in the same general way that Travis' murder transpired. The victim was ambushed, stabbed 12 times and had his neck slit from ear to ear almost decapitating him.

It was a rough trial. I can now sort of relate to the Arias jury. Although mine was not nearly as complicated and it was not a capital case.

Have been mostly in lurk mode, and was just thinking about Princess. Has anyone heard? I'm unclear as to what type surgery she was having. I hope she's doing ok. TIA and hugs to all my Justice for Travis friends :hug:

Vincent Price.

Wrong Holiday I know.

A friend came by and many things discussed, don't ask how, I veered to Vincent Price. One of those friend is being quiet moments, so I ramble.

I realized, being voice aware and sensitive (can't handle Rosie's abrasive or the Bam cook and you get the idea) that Vincent Price's voice is unique. Hence my love of it, and his role in many just voice parts. Haven't found anyone that can imitate his voice. (Not going to try either, just save it for those days...)

I guess the house is ok. thou' she didnt mention it. I am so relieved to hear this. Anderson Cooper had the best info on the whole tragedy, of course he is over there. Thank God for all of us: Britain, Canada, Australia, even arabs sent aid!, Japan, China, oh and US. Ships. helicopters, Marines, food, ....The poor people on that other Island T...the picture of the mother crying for her children and her mother just broke my heart. A hurt that never goes away...any way we can help will be appreciated.. :loveyou: Noreen

It's nice to know the other countries are helping (besides the US). People come together when others need help and that's so reassuring that people are, basically "good". :loveyou:

Me too just checking in. It sounds like the same-old/same-old that we all remember all too well.

Im glad I didnt hold my breath waiting for the sentencing phase re-trial.

Maybe next year we can finally see the end to the madness. But like someone said already, at least she is already behind bars and its not like she is going anywhere. :floorlaugh:

I for one am happy that there will not be live coverage. I never want to see her face again or hear her voice for any reason. Really, she is convicted, we don't need to see or hear from her ever again. Just sentence her, get her ready to be shipped off, let us see the Final Sentencing Order, and tell us if she tries to kill anyone in jail once she gets comfy. Just shut her down.

Thank you Yes or No for the Vincent Price videos! I so had a childhood crush, that really is sort of odd isn't it? I love his voice. The entire conversation with the friend last night was due to the film "The Last Man on Earth" 1964. Great film and available on many youtube listings.

Hi, maybe the trial will progress faster if she doesnt have to play the roll. We are into this case but I think the general public doesnt shive a git if she sinks or swims. This has dragged on too long, people are fed up. I dont think miss priss realized what restricting media coverage would mean! WAT will have people there I am sure. Just get her to Perryville anyway at all. Watch her squirm. Here in Ohio T.J.Lane thought he was sooo smart. He is having all sorts of problems in Prison! Someone will get him, watch. Eighteen and in prison for life. Three young men are gone forever, one other is also paralyzed.lease:

I don't think this motion can or will be overturned. A lawyer might be able to shed light on the subject.

True. Most people don't care about this case and most of the ones who did have moved on. They just want to see sent off to prison for good. And, come to think of it, thank God we don't have to listen to her slander Travis some more.

I really hope the new jury can reach a verdict. I don't mean one of those non-verdict verdicts! :scared:

It is not a Motion.

I see it says "It is ORDERED...", it is a Court Order. Don't see the Judge's signature and date though. If it is not the official Order, we will see one soon, and it most likely will remain in place, as it also says "For the reasons stated in this Courts sealed minutes entry.." dated yesterday. Whatever was said, convinced the Judge, by what appears to be both prosecution and defense, to do it this way.
