It's 17...feels like 10. That's what the weather says. Tomorrow much worse.
15 to -7 and windy. Snow hasn't picked up yet. I don't like this. Why do I live here?

It is COLD!! We have 18 going way down tonight, wind at 14 mph with gusts 30 to 40 mph. Knee deep in snow (like my avatar) with 3 more " coming.We have more than Cleveland. Our kids go back to school Monday! Yeah right! Hi of 4 on Mon. with low of 0. Tuesday Hi of 0 low of 4 below, maybe more. The wind makes it so much worse.Our yard is Laughable..Amy and Johnny have been blowing and shoveling regular. It colder than a well diggers adz out there. Another front coming thru on Sunday with more snow..I dont see me going to the Dr. on Monday..I hate this.:bananalama: I wanna get away:banghead:

Were not suppose to get as much snow as you, thank the Lord, but enough. Predictions from 6 to 10 inches. We will see when morning comes since they say it will be heavy overnight until tomorrow morning. This darn cold is just way to much. I don't remember it being this cold in years. I just do not like winter. My hubby got a kick out of the sentence I bolded. LOL

Ricki the coldest I've ever seen is -20.Faren.. we have had that twice. Now that is cold!! We are now getting Lake effect snow. We just wait and see how much, they cant say for sure. Think Spring.:spring::laughcry:

It is still snowing. We were supposed to get 3-5". Currently we have 6". At it is snowing really hard. My husband was leaving his office @ 6:30 and happened to glance out the window. He saw the snow plow in his parking lot and was very confused. He didn't know it had started snowing. So he and the dogs are out back now with the dog laser thing and the dogs are running in the snow chasing the light. Too funny.

How is everyone's new year starting out ? Hope you folks are keeping warm, cozy and dry during this cold weather.

I've been feeling like a home body the last two days, just staying in mostly and watching Turner Classic Movies, and some old Twilight Zone episodes I recorded off of the SciFi channel. One of the movies had little Spanky, from the Little Rascals in it. He was sooooo adorable. The other had Clark Gable in it when he was younger and was about a racing horse. I just love those old shows like that. Some of them are really, really good. Oh, on New Years day we watched "What About Bob" :rotfl: :floorlaugh:

Then tonight, we watched "BigFoot" from the SciFi channel . It was kind of cheesy but it was cool too, Bigfoot was HUGE! like King Kong :rotfl: Had some old 70's and 80's TV stars in it, Danny from the Partridge Family and Greg from The Brady Bunch. It's weird to see them old, lol. :giggle:

I hope you were all warm and cozy last night. Woke up to 4 degrees and tonight it is suppose to drop in -double digits. A warm up comes Sunday, Monday and back in the single digits on Tuesday until next weekend. I don't know how people do it that have temps like this as their norm. Who wants to leave a warm home and go out in frigid temps? The plow came by twice, which surprised, me but the roads look slick and I hope the sand trucks come through.

We got 8" of snow which does not sound like a lot compared to the feet of snow a lot of you got. We have had more snow this past fall to now than we have had in years. It is 12 degrees in the sun and the windchill makes it -5. Great day to clean up my huge mess of a room.

Ricki, your husband sounds so talented. I have always wished I had that artistic talent to do carpentry. My husband loves to do it but never has time. My house is just one unfinished project . Hope all of you are staying warm. :seeya:
