I'll be watching the Olympicslympics: from Sochi, how about you all?? I like almost everything about the Winter Olympics! Hopefully will be able to see most of the events. I'll be rooting for Latvia (of course!) they will compete in the Bobsled (2 & 4-man), Luge, Skelton (I think?
) and of course Ice Hockey!!! And will be rooting for the good ole' U.S. of A.!! :cooler: where the Latvians aren't competing!

I will be watching every single minute and every single event!
I love the Winter Olympics. Hockey is number 1 on the watch list of course, but I can literally watch any event and become engrossed.
I have a countdown calendar going, SO geeked for the games.
I just wish I did not have to wait 4 years each time :tantrum: (Yeah, I watch summer, but it is just not the same. Winter sports are so much more entertaining to me).

I hope the US does well in Hockey, but they made some iffy choices in the roster this year, left out a LOT of really good players...*sigh*
PS- I am lucky, we get CBC Canada where I live, otherwise I would have to put up with NBC's carpy coverage (they infuriated me with their delays during the Summer Olympics in 2012) CBC has great coverage, most of it as it happens. I won't get much sleep for half of February!
Achy-ness, flushed, tired.
Going to take some neo-citran and put on a movie.
Drink plenty of fluids. I was that way Sunday and Monday and also had a headache the size of Texas.

No kidding! I got sick on 12/22. It lasted for 10 days...still coughing! My whole family came down with it--some kind of really nasty flu. I was in bed for 3-4 days, completely exhausted.
Start the fluids now and get to bed! I hope you are better soon.

She's so smart... NOT. Since when do convicted murderers get to kvitch to the media about not having access to a computer and their Twitter account? :jail: Somebody needs to inform the judicial system in Arizona about their own laws. I'm so sick of her. Can't we just hang her already?
Yeah you don't want that. I had swine flu in 2009 when it was dropping people like flies...almost died. Hate even getting a cold now.
So she is trying to tout bracelets now? What a complete fail but you know there are nuts out there that will buy them.

In every apartment building I have lived in (very old buildings with slumlord landlords) the slum, I mean, landlords would drop by, knock on the door and tell us to leave the h2o on a trickle all the time until the temperatures rose. Nice of them, being that running h20 costs the tennant more $$$. BUT, it did keep the pipes from freezing, especially on the ground floor in buildings built over 100 years ago, old pipes, and no insulation. So a barely trickle will do the trick.
I see that we are still getting language lessons and using our new words, loving it! :loveyou: (kvitching makes me chuckle)

Just remembered. Open any cabinet doors near the sink pipes so the heat gets in.
One of the bosses slides an electric heater under one of his houses, (yes, they all have more than one and I have none, but who am I to say anything), via outdoor extension cord at night. I don't like that idea, but if you do it, make sure there is nothing that can catch fire under there, like insulation, leaves, etc....

i went and had a look at those bracelets,i cannot believe she has the cheek to ask for $25 for one...actually,wait i can.
i think it would be a great idea,if people could donate that $25 or a donation of any amount to Travis fund. would much rather see peoples money going to good use.

Drank 3 litres of water and 2 cups of tea with lemon. Feel better, but now some sort of earache. Grrr winter. Can't wait for :spring:
