My S/O had H1N1 a couple of years before I met him and he said it was the worst illness he's ever had.

The reason could be alot of holiday travel during November and December and the flu virus just continues to change it's structure and new strains pop out.

Oh you reminded me when I thought I was dying in 1999 - New Year's eve! I had a temp of 104!! But my Huz brought me through!!

The incident where she JA was looking through the patio door and watching Travis and a date making out on the couch. They portrayed that he and the girl fell asleep. JA came in the house. Next morning when Travis awoke and went in to his bedroom there were pictures of him and his date from that night stuck all over the mirror. I think her name was Diane. I don't recall this at all.

Also the night she killed TA they show that while TA was in the shower he got a text message from Diane telling him she wanted to talk. JA texted her back and told her that she was there and that TA did not need her anymore. Diane texted back and said well that was good the girl he had told her was only good for one thing was there and they should be happy. I can't remember verbatim but this is the jist. Those texts they implied were the cause of JA flipping out and attacking TA.

I don't recall any reason being stated for the attack so specific. One scene TA and Diane were coming out of a restaurant and someone (JA) tried to run them down. BTW the girl in this movie really looks like Jodi. Pretty eerie. jmo

That is interesting. Were the texts shown. Wondering, is this movie based on fact considering nothing like that was brought up in court and if true it should of been.

"Deadly Devotion" is one I like.

But I think these try to portray events that are similar as to what happened - which is purely for entertainment purposes. It's funny how they all show Jodi as the stalker. lol.

During the trial, the alleged 'make-out' girl JA was peeping in on was supposedly from Phoenix, but was never named, IIRC.

I remember Linda Ballard, Lisa Daidone, and Deanna Reid, of course (all ex-GF's) but I don't remember a Diane/Dianne on that list of exes.

If there were any incriminating messages on the actual murder date, June 4, 2008, you can be sure that Juan Martinez would have introduced them.

Updated for the detail-oriented among us: IIRC, not all of these were text messages. Some of these messages were Internet chat (Internet Messenger, for example) messages. They were not all mobile carrier text messages which would have been composed, sent and viewed on their phones.

However, there was also the portion of the trip where she inactivated her phone (claimed to have lost the charger). I didn't see any electronic messaging to/from TA during her murder travels. I do know that she began leaving voicemail messages for him after she killed him.

As for Marie "Mimi" Hall, his Cancun companion, TA clearly wanted more out of that relationship than she did.

IIRC, there was some evidence that TA even communicated to JA that he hoped to marry Mimi one day, but alas, the two were not 'compatible' and were never romantic.

JA, however, probably assumed exactly the opposite as their imminent departure date for Cancun approached.

I think that is listing either the repeat of it (It premieres @ 9PM ET) or maybe showing it for the time it would air in PT (Midnight).

The scene depicted in the movie showed TA in the shower and JA was still in bed when the text came in on TA's phone. She responded to the text as if she were TA. Then she went into the bathroom and took some pictures of TA. Then she began stabbing him. Different than trial evidence. jmo

Good to see you BendPages, have been thinking of you as it's been a while :wave: hope you had a good Christmas and New Year :seeya:

We had a very nice Christmas and News Years; all of us at the end of a cold (flu or maybe it's the plague, anyway it needs chewable morphine to help) coughing and sneezing, but we were together.

Found out my brother is going to be a PappyJack in July. We'll have a baby in the family; it been eight years since the twins were born.

Had our black eyed peas and ham for luck (even though one nehpew swears he won't eat anything looking back at him) in the new year.

Speaking of... I was working a puzzle and kept getting a weird feeling like I was being watch, looked down and there is a eye looking back at me.

Then there was that late night breakfast when I took my grandson and his friend out to Ihop. There were quite few couples sitting over coffee, and then there was moment of perfect silence, and my grandson asked me if he was a ; talk about wanting to just slip under that table and crawl out of there. My grandson and his friend had been talking about how his friend never met his dad so there is kinda of a basis for the convo...but how I hate those silent moments, and two kids with Aspergers.

And the big mystery of why I got a Pergola for Christmas has been solved. What my husband swears he heard me say; Pergola; what I said was a Nissan Rouge. Guess what he's getting for his birthday.
