I wish this sentencing phase would open up!! I know we all do. Jodi is so childish to keep putting off the inevitable. There is no way on gods earth she will change anything, what is done is done. I think she may be hoping someone will make a mistake along the way thus helping her in an appeal. She IMO is making it worse for herself. I watched Lockup on Sunday night. This was not the one on MSNBC, this was National Geo.. They were at San Quentin. They showed Scott P. with two officers, looked like an old shot. The narrator said there are men in there who are just waiting for a shot at Scott because he is "hi profile"..
Maybe jodi should see that!! I'm bored, but I'm also tired of waiting. I know we all are. I think McNeill will be sentenced soon. Gotta peek at that.:loveyou::loveyou:

I don't think she can watch TV since she is in isolation.

She was a huge sun that shone when our lives were miserable.
She made me laugh when there was nothing to laugh about.
She was a brave woman who never let it get her down.
She was scared but was always positive.

Regina it really makes one wonder sometimes. So many people who love life and live it to the fullest, we watch them die. They are missed so much by family and people along the way but crud lives. Jodi~for what she did to Travis she should not be allowed to live. No decent human being could do what she did, then she uses her hands to eat! They are nothing but weapons to her. I have to ask myself why? Why does she thrive when so many people even on this board have lost their real meaning for life to death? We have buried parents, spouses, our children, dear friends , and she goes on! She will never know the feeling of wonder when a newborn is placed in her arms, a baby depending on her to eat, a husband coming in saying whats for supper?, a gramma with her first grandchild. She is a miserable imitation of a human being and deserves nothing but death. God help us!!:loveyou:

Yes moving to Latvia; I've attached a picture of 'where' Latvia is compared to the rest of Europe - right across from Sweden! California has gotten WAY to expense without having a job here - and they are far and few here... Not much to live on only my Social Security! My mom has/had an apartment building and since she died back in 2011 her apartment is empty, with free rent! So the Huz and I have decided it will be quite less expensive to live there and we can trip around Europe for all the money we will save living there! We are thinking sometime in May or June! BUT I'll still be here posting!! LOL!

Thank you - but that picture was taken 6 years ago when I went to celebrate my 60th birthday with my Mom! I look too old now to post recent pictures! :floorlaugh:

I always wonder why good people die young- the bad, seem to live forever.
When I was researching the theory of "the bad seed" last year, I came across a couple of articles about good/bad people (I bookmarked them for further study).

First a theory of why some people are bad- some good:

One article states that there is "the chemistry of morality" and that " 95 percent of the thousands of people I have studied release oxytocin when they receive a positive social signal....Five percent of those I have tested do not release oxytocin after such stimuli. These individuals have many of the traits of psychopaths: they are charming, deceptive, and even self-deceptive."
The author calls oxytocin the "a moral molecule".
Knowing the chemistry of morality gives us keen insights into why most of us are good most of the time, and why some people like Hans Reiser are evil....

I think missy :jail: lacks empathy and because she doesn't have empathy for other people (or animals), life is not as hard for her as it is for moral or decent people- who try to put themselves in others shoes. She only worries about herself, IMO. I think she thrives because life is "different" for her and how she thinks justifies a lot of the bad things she does. So, I think, when 'normal' people do bad things, it will eat at them, stress them, and generally, make life hard. Stress causes bad things to happen in the body. She doesn't have that kind of "moral stress" and seems to just sail through life- blind to others feeling. IMO.
Don't worry, Nore. Her life is a nightmare for her now and not the life she had wanted before she murdered Travis. It's what she deserves. I think being in :jail: will wear her down- especially when she realizes that people are no longer interested in her.
It's what she deserves- "bad seed", "moral molecule", and all.

(In a fair world good people would live forever, bad people would perish from off the face of the earth, but life isn't always fair. This is the world we live in.)

Cold is not the word. My car door was partially frozen this morning. The heat is on in the house and I am still chilly with sicks, fuzzy slippers, leggins, a shirt and a sweatshirt. I think I am going to the hood up. Oh, and I have a blanket covering my legs. I am longing for a hot, humid day right now.

Kensie! 16! oh I cant wait. We are at 3 F. right now. There is a change thou' I cant go out but I can feel a difference. May be the air pressure going up. We are to have 10* by morning. I did not go to the Dr..I called, they said not to go outside so I go next Tuesday instead. Last night our house was groaning and creaking!! its from the cold. I have not been out of the house in over a week.. Relief is on its way. There was a strange orange~red ball in the sky today, first in many moons. It threw off heat!!! :fireworks: :loveyou:
