My son received an email from Binghamton U and :drumroll: has been accepted to the MSW program this Fall.

All that doubt and angst he had was all for naught, poor thing.

:drumroll: :skip: :thewave: :congrats: to YesorNo's son!!!!

:wave:

I thought of MM too, but what would he have to offer, and would he face the wrath of Juan, since Juan was pretty clear as to what could/would happen to him if he spoke? I do not know what exactly MM, knows but I have a sneaky suspicion it is enough to get him in big trouble. Do you think any of the wacky Drs. like Samuels would witness in another name?

Could be anyone's guess. Dr. Samuels and Gus are only two witnesses I believe would face Juan on a one on one. :giggle:

:seeya: Hi all, LTNS LOL

One question, the penalty phase retrial date has not been set right? TIA

Nope. I believe Juan's cop killer has been postponed until May? Thanks WS'ers and correct me if i'm wrong. :seeya:

Congrats to you and your son!

Hello-oh! Anybody here?

It seems that whenever I log on to post a comment everyone disappears.

Do I have bad breath, or something? It's enough to make me paranoid!

Becky, I like you so much that I named my dog after you, Becky . That is a compliment..

When my son was in 2nd grade he loved his teacher so much that he named his dog after her. People looked at me like I was crazy yelling Mrs. Rankin, Mrs. Rankin. When I told his teacher that my son named his dog after her, she broke down in tears and said that she was so honored.

Was he happy at least? My son made the Dean's List the other day and, frankly, I've seen him more excited about 50 cents off coupon for Taco Belle. Aaarrrgghh! Fortunately, I'm excited enough for the both of us. But, really . . . . Men.

Becky, I was thinking how much I missed your "vov!" And now you're logged off so you won't get this.

I haven't been here in a long, long time. It's really good to see the old gang is still here. I just hope we all have the stamina to last until the retrial starts in 2016.

:blushing::blushing: Aw, really Kensie? :blushing::blushing::blushing:

That is so sweet! Honestly, no one has ever said anything like that to me. I am truly honoured. And I'm especially honoured that it's a dog. I love them so much--they are absolutely the most wonderful animals. Truly woman's best friend!

I lost my beloved Dexter on Christmas Eve 2012. He was an old dog (but still young at heart) who went into kidney failure and so I had to make the hard decision to tell the vet to euthanize him. He was the biggest goof: a half-Labrador and half some other type of setter and, like a typical Lab, he was very loving and very goofy. He loved everybody, and especially children. Every time I walked him, he always gave whomever we passed a cheery, doggy grin. People always stopped us to say hello to him. Which he loved, of course!

I'd like to get another dog, but I'm still not yet over losing Dexter.

Hugs to you for taking care of Becky. If I read your earlier posts correctly, she's a rescued animal? A few days ago, as I was listening to the local news, there was a report of a raid on a puppy mill: the police said it was the worst case they'd ever seen. The details were so heartbreaking I had to turn the radio off because I couldn't listen to the rest. People like that deserve . . . I don't know what.

Anyway, please say hello for me to Becky and give her hugs and kisses for me. I know she's in a good home with a loving person to care for her.

Hugs and kisses to you, Kensie! The world needs more people like you. :loveyou:

Hi G&AMom! :seeya:

Good timing! I don't come here very often, either; but I do stop by occasionally to see what's up and to chat with the others. (And it's usually on days like today when <cough> I should be grading papers or such like and am instead procrastinating!)

And of course we'll have the stamina to last until whenever the retrial starts, because we're a bunch of tough broads who like to cackle together!

I really look forward to that sentencing day when I can write here what you asked me to do way back last summer: "Vov, G&AMom! Just Vov!" We know that is coming and, until then, I'll just be patient.

Good bumping into you! :seeya::seeya::seeya:

BTW: Too funny about Mrs. Rankin! :floorlaugh: Could have been worse, I guess!

Hi gang. Love you guys! I don't tread here much anymore. every time I come here I look for Princess, and I leave the thread crying.

If you missed The Happy Face Killer movie last night on Lifetime, it's on again tonight at 9. It was pretty good but terribly sad.

So proud to be Canadian! :canada: :canada:

2 Gold medals in for Women's and Men's Hockey!

High Five, ElleElle! I was on a flight from Winnipeg to Chicago on a plane that probably had as many Canadians as Americans on it. About mid-flight the captain announced that Canada had just won and all the Canadians (including usually quiet and well-behaved me) erupted into cheers. And I don't even care that much about hockey! The nice American man sitting next to me just sighed--he was probably thinking "ugly Canadians."

I don't view it that way, ElleElle.

CMJA's court dates were vacated in 'joint' proceedings presided over by Judge Welty.

I believe jury selection and pre-trial hearing for AZ vs. Bryan Hulsey will proceed toward the May 12 date.

I'd like to be wrong, but I view CMJA's case as effectively on hold at this point. I do not expect the wheels of justice to begin grinding on her case until after AZ vs. Hulsey trial concludes.
