World 'losing battle' to contain Ebola

"International medical agency Medecins sans Frontieres said Tuesday the world was "losing the battle" to contain Ebola as the United Nations warned of severe food shortages in the hardest-hit countries.

MSF told a UN briefing in New York that world leaders were failing to address the epidemic and called for an urgent global biological disaster response to get aid and personnel to west Africa.

"Six months into the worst Ebola epidemic in history, the world is losing the battle to contain it. Leaders are failing to come to grips with this transnational threat," said MSF international president Joanne Liu.

"The (World Health Organization) announcement on August 8 that the epidemic constituted a 'public health emergency of international concern' has not led to decisive action, and states have essentially joined a global coalition of

This is 1 request I would have agreed to if I was the judge. We keep hearing about wanting to avoid any possible appeal issues and I think this would be a valid request to help prevent issues down the line.

This judge sometimes floors me.
JMO she lets JA get away with things that I think could have been legally prevented, and then something like this which I see as a valid request that perhaps should have been allowed to avoid any future potential problems.

Oh well. I hope the judge knows best. LOL

One other thing. I take this as a huge RED FLAG that JA has had discussions with her lawyers that she is ready to give them control at the first opportunity as soon as things start to go wrong for her.

I don't think this will be an appeal issue. These are HER witnesses, after all--she's already interviewed them and can tell Mr. Nurmi all about what they will say at her leisure.

Hi Y/N if it is at all like colitis you are not allowed food. On purpose. Water and IV's.. I had nothing for five or six days. I wish these people had better hygiene. better sanitation like toilets. I read an article about this situation. In India the poor people go in the fields, to have a toilet is more a sign of prestige~honest. Imagine a field of ebola.... Example~ "Oh, I have a toilet". Article also said many who have one don't even
use it!!!

Thnaks AZlawyer. Also, if Nurmi wants to be there, he can be. He can just reschedule his other cases. After all, this case has been on hold way too long. I don't see this as aN issue at all.

People say the same about that other killer in that other state. That she is pretty.

Pretty is as pretty does...they both have putrid souls and that is not pretty. Not pretty at all.
