What us the name of this nasal spray? This is the 2nd sinus infection I have had since late spring. I use to get them every March for the longest time. Then they stopped. This year these pesky infections have mad a comeback. Argh!

You're welcome MsJosie, I saw my reg. doc for over a year and then an ENT for at least that long and nothing killed the stubborn infection until I started using the saline nasal spray. Now I use it as a pre-emptive, whenever I start feeling that discomfort up there or one of my ears starts blocking sound I use it twice a day for a couple days and all better. I really hope you find relief, I know just how hard it is to deal with an infection that won't die.

Oh geevee...you would not believe what some medical people have said....I fake it, I am to nice to be sick, they walk out do the room, plus more.....and a few weeks later I am back in the drs office with a major ear infection, that can be seen...like now. I am allergic to so many meds.....so this sounds like such an easy thing to try that is safe. Thank you again.

Hmm. Anyone have any idea who they may be? Do you think her sister might be one? If I remember correctly, I think I recall her brother was kind of against JA for a while and I believe it came from his FB page. Don't know how true that is,

Ricki, any Saline Nasal Spray works wonders, generic is just fine, Ocean makes a version too. It's also dirt cheap. I live in one of the worst states for seasonal allergies, and I'm looking at the bottle that lives on my desk in the Fall and Spring right now. Hubby and I both got yearly sinus infections when we first moved here 18 years ago. Saline does wonders and with no side effects, provides instant relief of sinus pressure and pain. Neither of us has issues any more. (Good lord, I sound like a commercial.) You can pick up some at Walmart, most grocery stores and any drug store. I hope you feel better.

I will definitely put that on my list for a Walmart trip. Thanks so much. Maybe I will pick up two, one for home and one for work. Certain air fresheners at work bother my sinuses too.

Ordinarily, relatives can't make much of a dent on jurors' opinion as they are deemed "interested" not objective. If you were a juror, would they move you? I would simply expect their support for the defendant. But from Michael Kiefer's report, we are assured that it is these civilian witnesses Nurmi & Arias are protecting. Relatives, friends if any, co-workers, ex partners. We can't forget that Nurmi planned not to present mitigators. Obviously, Arias is big on them, so it would be fun to hide behind a potted plant to see how that is working out between them.

I was on antibiotics for a sinus infection for 2 years! Lost 30 lbs due to all the antibiotics that really messed me up! They tried everything.

Finally,I Had 2 sinus surgeries in early 2000's. SINUS RINSES are a godsend! Also, sign up for pollen concentrations in your area perhaps sent to you by email so you can start appropriate Allegra/etc. I now do that. Signed up at http://www.aaaai.org/home.aspx to get my local information DAILY...

You can buy any brand, just look in the sinus medicine section of the drug store, even grocery stores like Kroger sells it, about 2 bucks a bottle (sterile saline nasal spray). I give a couple good sprays into a nostril, sniff it as far back as I can, do the other one, then tilt my head down or way back so it stays there a minute or two. It'll trickle down the back of your throat and irritate it a bit after a few days use so I usually blow my nose to get rid of the excess after using.

It took a week or so as far as I remember before it felt like the infection was backing off and then going away, I use a fresh bottle whenever I need to use it again, about once a year at most now, and only for a couple days, but I want to be sure another bad one never sets in.
