Last night and today there has been much discussion about sandy a, being ja's best bet to save her from the DP. I disagree with them in every way. :moo: If sa gets on the stand JM will smash her with her own words in the police interview. I think her best bet would be her sister or brother...and still that would fail as she moved out of the house at 17 to go live with a vampire :floorlaugh:. Personally I don't see any chance of her not getting the DP based on anything anyone could say about her. There has only been one person, that I am aware of, that I felt perhaps should have been commuted to LWOP. I don't see an redeeming qualities in ja. And I do believe, even if she got LWOP, she would hurt or kill someone again....a guard or another inmate.

I am not an attorney and this is a guess..yesterday was the beginning of the mitigation phase, then comes the penalty phase....just a guess, but it might be Troy Hayden testifying about things ja said to him during the interview....IIRC we have only seen 38 minutes and the interview was 45 minutes. As I said this is just a guess.

I guessed this yesterday, same trend of thought. Time will tell us if we guessed right.

For really good pizza, u need a pizza oven which goes well over 500 deg F (normal household oven max temp).

:floorlaugh:The DVR gets a lot of usage on Sundays at our house! My hubby laughs at me when we get home from a Falcons game, and I've got the game recorded so we can watch it again with all the replays, commentary, and analysis. Plus I've got 7 hours of NFL RedZone recorded... :lol:

Just to clear up some misinformation that is being promulgated here, Imo's in St. Louis is actually the Best Pizza in the Universe. Thin crust, provel cheese... heavenly. :rockon:

:tyou: Totally agree....when we lived in Houston the first thing we would do when we came home was get pizza, White Castle and Steak n Shake. St. Louis pizza is THE BESTEST!! Now I made myself hungry!!

I just watched the victim impact statements again given by Steven and Sam. Det Flores showed great respect when standing for them while the remainder of the courtroom sat. What a great character he has. Travis would have loved him! Det Flores very much reminds me of what Travis said was the difference between a stepping stone and a stumbling block. Det Flored showed he is a stepping stone. Love his heart!

IIRC,

totally agree!! I am sure I saw Det. Flores wiping a tear yesterday while Steven was speaking. Steven broke my heart.....his hurt and pain is so raw..not that that isn't true to all of the siblings...but being the mother of one child, a son, I think seeing Steven in so much pain just hit me in the gut.

I think the DT wants Jodi's Mom to speak. I think Jodi does not. I remember that interview with Flores ... Her Mom was just beside herself ...This was at a point where it was WAY too early in the game for her Mother's comments to have been contrived. I thought it was very candid and raw emotion. Jodi has mental problems... Maybe she did do it... How could she act so normal when she got back from that trip? I think the DT would like to put her nuttiness on display and Jodi and her gargantuan ego just won't have it. JMO.
