Aww my dad's cat Runt did too! He even panted like one when he got tired.
My dad would toss it at the fireplace and as it bounced back, Runt would catch the ball with his paws. I bought so many "bolo bats" because the little red balls were his favorite! We yank them off and give them to him. He'd do a "happy dance''!
He learned to hide the ball and at night he would drop it down the stairs
to entertain himself! It was noisy but cute!!!

Every time I see a replay of the victim-impacts statements and see jodi's face "crying", I feel such an urge to punch her face in. I'm sorry if that's rude. I don't buy one moment of her "emotion".

You know, it is easy to forget how good a sociopath like jodi is at fooling people. I have had a case for years with a very crazy and destructive opposing party who was such a consummate liar and actress that she kept getting away with incredibly evil behavior. One day I was talking to her in a little room outside the courtroom, nand she looked at me with such sincerity and said, "Anna, I know you must think I am a horrible, evil person. I truly understand why you would think that. I realize how much pain I have caused. It's all been the alcohol and I;m on the road to recovery. I hope you know how much I love my daughter and would never hurt her."

Well, I actually felt my self beginning to sympathize and buy it a bit. She welled up with tears, she looked me straight in the eyes, she was GOOD! And she was a total liar. Luckily I snapped out of it a couple minutes later. Because she continued to torture her child with manipulative mind games and she continued to engage in violent, criminal and evil behavior. It was NOT the alcohol.

It just reminds me how crafty and sinister and evil these people are.

jodi is an actress. She is playing the role of her life. I don't buy one thing that comes out of her mouth or that flits across her ugly face.

I am glad you didn't buy it either... I kept thinking, I understand how Travis kept falling back under her spell. I am amazed at how many people could be furious and see her evil in bashing TA in an interview 20 minutes after her murder 1 conviction, yet one week later, they believe she suddenly is broken, and feels remorse!!! WHAT...NO!

What really stood out to me about her cry was that her body language was not of shame or remorse. She was facing the jury shoulders and back straight, almost as if she wanted them to see her crying, and give the impression 'see how devastated I am' Yeah, problem is she is devastated for herself, of what she will miss with TA of what she feels he 'made' her do, but she is not devastated for taking him from his family, and friends. She saw him as only hers; she cries for her own pain, not for the pain of others she has hurt through her actions. I am not sure she ever will get it.

I wish Dr. Demarte diagnosed dogs. I think my min pin & my rescue Chihuahua would be interesting studies for her. (He's the Scarecrow. She's Dorothy.) :blushing:

:floorlaugh:....I think she brings a bit of "pizzazz" to the courtroom, I've kind of enjoyed every morning, waiting to see what couture she will be sporting for the day. She walks back and forth like she's on the catwalk in Milan. Circa 1988 or not, the girl knows how to "work it"! She's been a great distraction during sidebars and 10 minute recesses......."You Go, Girl!!!" :floorlaugh:

Yeah...she wasn't upset for Steven or Samantha. Isn't she the same chick who took an oath, took the stand and made up a story that their brother looked at pics of a little boy one day and broke her finger the next? Both of which Martinez proved never happened.

I noticed the tears didn't start until SA mentioned Travis holding his daughter.
The killer wanted a baby with Travis after all IMO.

Here are my little jerks. Look how mistreated they are. This is usually the seating situation on trial days. The little one on the right. Will sit DIRECTLY on top of the older one on the left vying for the closest spot to warm momma and online trial.

You have Sphynxies!!!! We had one from a rescue....sweetest kitty except for she kept snotting everywhere. I ended up having to give her to a friend of mine...oddly enough I was allergic. I am allergic to cats in large doses....like if I go to a hoarder's house or something. Humane Society or Animal Control does not bother me. However I had a hard time being near her because even with once a week bathing I had a hard time being with her..I actually would need an inhaler at times and I do not have asthma and have never needed one. She has a wonderful home where she is loved and doted on now. We named her Sinead.

Hi all! Was a little lost this ayem with the "combined" thread; but ... what fun!!! As we WSers are all animal lovers, need to tell you a funny (think black humor) story. My house was broken into one afternoon; police arrived; we were reviewing the 'tossed' mess in my bedroom. I picked up an empty wooden box and said, "What? I can't believe they took THAT!!!" They did. "That" was a plastic bag of my cat's ashes. To this day, I'm sure 'da Coop got even when they tried to snort him.

Okay everyone, I just got off the phone with the Superior Court Probation Service Center 245 N Centennial Way Mesa, AZ 85201 and with Karen. Asked if probation there in AZ was the same as it was here in TX, "yes" she told me and then looked up the Court docs for Donavan M Bering DOB 10/24/1962, who is found to be a convicted felon, paying back restitution in the amount of $190.734.59 payable at $100 a month, was sitting everyday in court for the AZ vs Jodi Arias trial and that is against her probation rules. Karen said "yes it is". Said to me Donavan is in the notes of her probation officer who knows this, and Donavan was NOT in court yesterday, as I thought due to enraging her probation officer to do that. Donavan also asked her probation officer for a "travel voucher", and she was denied that request to travel. I have her probation officer's name and cell phone, and I will keep her updated to the ways of which Donavan, is not keeping herself within the rules and confines of her probation. BTW.....Donvavan is now going to go before the court for the Arias trial watching in the gallery, and the phone calls to a convicted felon aka Jodi Arias to get what she wants to tweet for Jodi a convicted felon Donavan cannot be in contact with that violates her 5 yr probation.
