Hey, don't worry about it - if we can pull off this caper I'll just get Mr. Mertz to open his little change purse... once the moths fly out I'm sure we'll have enough change for postage!

I know this is o/t but wasn't there a movie star named VivianVance? I think she passed, any relation?

Is ir Reston? In Ann Rules book, End of the Dream, Scott Scurlock ( the Hollywood Bandit) was from Reston. His parents moved there and lead a hippie lifestyle. It mentioned the planned community and the swinging couples and nudist gathering.

When LE were closing in on the Boston bomber in the camper I thought of Scott. That is where he holed up after a his last bank robbery and found dead.

Nope. Reston's in Virginia. I used to live in Virginia and never heard that about Reston. I lived in Arlington, however, which was pretty much stuck in the 1950's (very different now).

They can't compete with a Louisiana Po-Boy or Muffaletta

They're good, but being from TX, I gotta go with Schlotzky's original!

Thanks for the wonderful pictures SusieD! I love this place, it is so amazing. One time when I was perusing the hall, I was so taken with the beauty of it all, I decided to take a photo or two - OOPS! I felt a tap on my shoulder to remind me photos were not allowed!:floorlaugh:

Another favorite on a much smaller scale is David Jones in Sydney . . .

Did you feel the earthquake this morning? It could be felt as far away from Quebec and Toronto in suburban Detroit. I didn't notice anything but apparently local TV/radio stations were bombarded with phone calls wanting to know WTF was that?

Southeast MI reporting in too. :)
I felt a weird and VERY slight sway or shift here.
Nothing dramatic or shaking.
Hard to describe ... having never been anywhere near an earthquake before.

I had channel 2's morning FoxNews show as it happened and they said they were getting lots of calls about it.

Weird, eh?

I thought court was " unable to proceed" on Thursday because DT mispelled witness name and Juan found previous chemical issueccharge to potentially impeach her on..Who knows ..lots of info out there. I did read that after trial and sentencing that all " closed and gagged" events will be made public...That will be a great week read

Hahahahah! Jodi teaching vocabulary would be a hoot!!

Inmate #1: WTF is she talking about?
Inmate#2: Was that English?

Maybe that's what she wanted the thesaurus for. Kind of boggles the mind doesn't it?

Apparently the DT filed a motion to preclude the states' penalty witnesses - failure to notice.

Disposition Information

Party Name ARSCode Description Crime Date Disposition Code Disposition Date
Jodi Ann Arias 13-1105 (F1) MURDER 1ST DEGREE 6/4/2008

Filing Date Description Docket Date Filing Party
5/16/2013 029 - ME: Status Conference - Party (001) 5/16/2013
5/15/2013 MOT - Motion - Party (001) 5/16/2013

My dream witness for the prosecution would be Christian Dior, Guess or someone who calls out the con-artists (stolen name..love it), tracings.
