No baby...........

So Kissy has been doing a fine job wearing down her front hooves pawing. She's not like a regular horse that would lie down to redistribute her "girth" when the baby moves.......and it has "turned", as in you can tell it's not upside down on it's back as foals are through all but the last few days of the pregnancy. Yesterday I could see the outline of it's spine against the upper side of her belly.

Her inner "thighs" are kind of sweaty (how do you explain what the inside of her upper back legs are?)..............could be from the constant kicking at her belly. She has some dried "wax" and "colostrum" just forward of her udders.

Totally blew her off yesterday to help my son find his cat that escaped his house. Sat on the back porch with his cats' favorite squeak toy and squeaked it for a good 2 hours, I kid you not! Sounds like a distressed small rodent..........and within 15 minutes, 2 coyotes showed up about 20 feet from the State Land Trust fence line. Pretty awesome, they have the rust color that an old pair of coyotes had (long gone now) when I first moved up here, probably a 2nd or 3rd generation from the original pair.
The cat, Aubry, has sneaked into the house a few times since, but Shadoe has yet to get to the cat door in time to imprison her, and Binks, his other cat, throws an all out, blow his self up 3 times his size, scary Halloween snarling killer cat stance at her if she even dares come inside.
And the coyotes are saying: "Cat, the "other" white meat" as they spy from the brush on State land.

Aubry doesn't realize she's a walking entre of "meow tar tar". Add a side of Juniper berries and you have a coyote's favorite dish.

Going to miss the first day of CMJA's re-do. Appointment in town............grrrr.
Nancy Grace in Phoenix...:gaah: I'm sure CMJA is just going to love that. HLN should have sent someone without all the groupie status, they're just feeding into CMJA's ego.

Bernina, I love your posts. Your life is much like mine except the babies we await here are calves. WE have coyotes that we hear almost every night as they run past our property or across our. Our 2 dogs are good Nannies to our kitties and no coyote can come within a quarter mile of the property without a barkathon happening. The dogs are so funny with how much they love our 5 kitties.

Tomorrow night will be fun ... trial coverage and the World Series. Might have to bring another TV into my bedroom.

I do see the exuberant Joey Jackson at HLN today but who will police the room, if Mike Brooks is gone? The on-air talent was not the problem, the trouble comes from their management and their financial officer. Why are THEY still there? Too bad this shake up doesn't turn the place upside down.

For all the bumps and bruises from trying to figure out a tweeted trial, you are all fabulous! Sure wish we had some better coverage online or TV.... sighhhh. I would be lost without you here.

To alleviate the boredom we most certainly will encounter with long pauses between tweets...........may I suggest the book "Gone Girl" by Gillian Flynn?

During the last, uh, "trial", someone suggested it here on the Sidebar, "Kudos" to the poster, can't remember who it was, but it's a great side dish to this mentally deficient, semi-convicted, self absorbed chameleon, CMJA.

This is my 2nd read, forgot many of the nuances in that book that are soooooo Jodie.

Wonder why there hasn't been a media catch phrase? "Oh, that's soooooo Jodie." Something to take that tired phrase "Mean girls" out of the current vernacular.

Very good read, with a "smack you in the face" twist midway.

Just chillin' today. Tomorrow, I have my first appointment with my new psych doc, Dr. G. She is a woman. I already have a mental pic of her, ala Dr. G, the forensic Doc from Florida.

Get to "relive" the last 6 months of my life with her to get her up to speed. "Emotional Roller Coaster" guaranteed! Had one of my previous "new" docs think I had borderline personality because I was emotionally up and down for his first 45 minute appointment. Seriously, with very limited time, and months of experiences, who wouldn't show as BPD?:tantrum:

I have my opening down to a science, after 24+ years of mental illness/disorder, I have perfected it!

"I do NOT drink alcohol or do illicit drugs"
"I am NOT in a 12 step program"
"No, I do NOT go to any Group."
"Yes, I take my meds as prescribed, check my prescription record, and I am far below the "therapeutic level" on my benzodiazapines.

.......and the clincher:

"If it's NOT broke, DON'T fix it!"

Hopefully, she won't put me in the "Drug of the Month" club, I hate when that happens! My meds are doing what they're supposed to do, so let's just leave well enough alone!

I don't know which is worse, seeing my new Doc or watching the beginning of CMJA Part Deux by Tweet. Both remind me of bamboo shoots under your fingernails.............:scared:

What happen to your former MD?

Bern, my daughter just mentioned that book over the weekend, said I just had to read it - which I will soon.

Good luck with your new doc!

Is Mike Brooks gone, too?

Yes.... is NG still around? I heard she had to wait until last Friday to know what would happen with her show, but have seen nothing since.
