I'm not a big believer of coincidence. Usually arias dresses similar to her female counsel, presumably to look like they are friends, peers. Now today she is sporting the royal blue??? Perhaps to endear the jury to believe she is like the Alexander sisters, classy and sophisticated?? If so, good try but you can't dress up true ugliness. And no color hides evil. And no way ever, ever, ever can Arias be seen as a peer of the Alexander's.

hmm.. I read yesterday from one of the reporter's tweets (it may have been Jen) that one of Travis's family always wears royal blue…they take turns. I took this as perhaps it was Travis's favorite color or something because it seems to be some sort of tribute. So if CMJA is wearing it, it's a slap in the face. Like everything she does. I'm sure it made it hard for TA's family to see her wearing that color.

The defense reached a new low today when Nurmi asked Flores is it legal for Travis to have watched 12 year old girls having sex in a video…. it never happened, Travis never watched child but Nurmi was planting the idea in juror's minds. New low even for him.

What a day! I feel so icky after everything that was presented. I said in the other thread that I just have no words...the DT makes me sick to my stomach.

Earlier tonight when I was sitting in a hot bubble bath with my Kindle, reading a really good book, I thought about some of the things the murderer is never going to get to experience again, regardless of the verdict this time around. I think this was discussed during the guilt phase, but it makes me feel a teensy bit better listing these things again:

Sitting in a hot bubble batch with her Kindle (or whatever book)
Snuggling up in bed with a fur baby
Snuggling up on the couch with a blanket, watching a good movie
Getting to sleep in on a day off
Enjoying a leisurely day with extended family members, young nieces/nephews

I don't know...I guess thinking about these things makes me feel a little better when I hear such terrible testimony as we did today.

...waiting for the son to send pics of Zuri over from his i-phone. He was helping me give Kissy a shot of antibiotics.....she HATES shots!

My gelding has cellulitis on his right hind. Vet prescribed IM Penicillin. Trainer was to be only person to give it. Well she delegated and the groom hit the vein and gave it IV. Horse seized, crashed to ground, cut himself. I get the VM from peeved vet right after my MIL funeral which is over an hour away. You gotta be really careful giving IM penicillin and trainer should have given it. What fun. Fortunately he was fine and only cut himself in 2 places. It could have been worse.

Yes "interesting" indeed. She had to be in cohoots with de la Rosa, who perhaps read the tweet and took it upon herself to rush out and buy it. After which I can imagine them giggling in delight at the upset it would cause. Looking at pictures of the two of them, it's apparent that de la Rosa genuinely likes Arias, and utterly beyond me to understand how this is possible for any decent right-minded person. The only explanation is that de la Rosa is not a decent right-minded person.

I thought the royal blue shirt and the tan pants looked frumpy on the killer. So as far as I can see, if there was any conspiracy to make any kind of statement with that outfit, it failed.

Killer is getting uglier by the day. She is very jowly looking these days, very unusual for a "young girl."

Mr. Nurmi is looking very professional, IMO- nice suit, tie, hair (he doesn't look like "a Nurmi"). He projects a better image of a "lawyer" now than last year, IMO, and seems as if he took some lessons in lawyering from JM (learning from the best is good).
