Hi Tuba,
I will go look! Thank you!! I had to go out today for some physical therapy for my back problems. I got really angry yesterday with the whole "JSS is doing a good job" thing. I have to be reasonable. She probably is. But she is being so secretive and that isn't justice to me. The courts should be wide open. And I promise, if I was a family member to Travis I could not have the class that family has in biting their tongue and listening to KN. I would have climbed the chairs to break his sorry neck. Oh well. I wish all my WS buddies were here today at my home to celebrate. I am not only old but older than dirt.

Thanks Tuba, going to look at those posts now. :)

Yes, Tuba…Happy Birthday to Curious! I think she said the day before yesterday that she wouldn't be here today she was having a nice birthday. I could be wrong but that is what I remember…. or maybe she was just happy there wasn't court on her birthday. What vitamins are good for the memory? My memory has been terrible.

Happy, happy birthday tomorrow, Curious in Indiana! I hope your special day is fizzy and festive and that it is such a joyous time that this trial and all the sorrowful recent events in your life fade from your view. Have a Blessed Day!
Thank you Tuba. I pray my life will be uneventful for a long time. But when I read posts by my WS friends, I realize we all have to go through the dark valleys. God bless you.

Renee, your memory is spot on! Wish mine was this good. Thank you for the birthday wish. It's nice and quiet so it's all good. Very cool here in Indiana today. If you find good memory vitamins let me know. I need to overdose on them. :)

Happy Birthday Curious!!!

I’ve only watched three trials. The first one was the murder trial of Danielle vanDam. I remember when three of her tiny fingerprints were found on the headboard in the bedroom of the motorhome of the murderer Westerfield. I remember one of the parent’s friends lost their job because she got high at a party they had. I remember no DNA of the murderer was found in the parent’s home. The second one was the murder trial of little baby Caylee Anthony. I remember everything about that trial. Everything from the very beginning, when my two oldest daughters each called to tell me about a Grandmother who hadn’t seen her baby Granddaughter for 31 days, and the baby lived with the Grandmother. I can’t stand Cindy Anthony. I thought at the time JB was the worst human being/defense lawyer ever! I remember many times while watching JB how embarrassed his Mom must be. Now this trial, the murder of Travis Alexander, Nurmi is so disgusting. I wonder about how his Mom must feel. I really don’t know whose worse, or should I say who’s better at just doing their job. I probably won’t watch any more trials after this one. Sometimes I just feel like some others do here. Like just walking away, but I believe we stay for Travis and for his family. We all want to see justice done for Travis and for his family. For me I want to see this shell of evil put to death, I want this for the family because this is what they want. But I would be happy with either death or LWOP. Either way, I just want this jury to do their job, to finish what they have agreed to do. I do believe there are still some decent lawyers out there, I just have not seen it in the three trials I’ve watched.

Hi Grammie, I didn't watch Danielle's trial. When a child is molested and murdered it rips my heart out. That is when I want to string a man up, castrate him, torture him and kill him with no jury involved. I hate myself for thinking that way but they are pure scum.

When a mother kills her child, well, just give to Casey what she gave to Caylee. I don't like Casey's family either. And I predict Jodi's family won't have many friends once this ends. I just heard Susan Smith, who killed her two little boys, will be up for parole after a thirty year sentence, only ten years from now. Hard to believe that was in 1995. And I fear some judge somewhere would let Jodi go free if Arizona ever allows parole.

To me, JA is a serial killer in the making. Jose Baez and Kirk Nurmi are the worst.

All we can do is watch and pray that Jodi gets what she deserves. If she goes to Perryville, maybe someone will finish her off. Somehow though I can imagine her manipulation of others to the point she is the rock star of Perryville, being the three hole wonder that she is. Ugh.

I was thinking last night, if someone ever did write a book about this crime, Det. Flores would probably be the best person to do it, or strongly advise on it.
He's been the one constant throughout the whole case, for the most part. From the crime scene, to Yreka, interviews and interrogations, evidence, a witness in court, and sitting through the first trial at the prosecutor's desk.
And wouldn't it be something if KCL wrote it with him? A joint effort? Combining both of their experiences with the case and the family would be something I'd be interested in reading.

It's a shot in the dark, but it sure would cover just about everything.

Hi everyone!

Curious in Indiana!!! Hope you have a restful and fun day!!

Great weather here - suppose to be 75 here; but RAIN on Friday and Saturday!! :skip: we really need it here!

Scary day last Friday, when we had two Deputy Sheriffs killed... one in Sacramento county and the other up here in Placer county! RIP gentlemen! :tears: we had 5 helicopters all over the place and the Huz was watching the railroad tracks behind our house, as the news said he (the shooter) "might" be going down the tracks!! Thank goodness they found him in a home behind the high school, which of course, was locked down. And now the poor homeowner has to pay for the clean up of her house - all windows broken from the tear gas canisters and just a lot destruction in her house... that doesn't seem to be right!! :notgood:

Hope you all enjoy your day - see you here tomorrow for the mitigation phase to start!

Niner, the lady should let her insurance company handle it. If there is any compensation from the town/city they will be the ones to go after it. In the meantime she should be able to get the damages fixed hopefully under her policy. jmo

Hi YESor NO.
They filed another motion to remove DP..Prosecution is same old, same old.! Flores wife again.
Judge should just tell them UP YOURS:gaah: :loveyou:

Gotta tell you, last night I dreamt I was using a slot machine. I woke up, had a hold of Buffys hind leg and
was pulling it (gently) up and down  he woke up turned his head ,looked at me like "What the hell?"
I  so hard, couldn't go back to sleep. :Banane23: Never used a slot machine in my life!

Can anyone summarize this for me? I don't know how to open it on their site from my iPad. Thanks so much!

What Nore said plus it has the Twitter DMs between Mrs. Flores and SW again. Still can't really read them due to poor screenshot image quality.

I have to wonder how much evidence the judge has blocked the jury from hearing, claiming it is too prejudicial??

:confetti:Happy Birthday Curious! :bdsong:

I'm looking forward to the day that we will have access to all of the sealed documents in this trial--sure wish Arizona had the Sunshine Law's we have here in Florida!:sunshine:

A discussion of Jodi Arias Penalty Phase retrial. May we have Justice for Travis and peace for the Alexanders. Not too much has happened 'new' so far, than juror dismissed and opening statements, so we focus on why this penalty phase retrial is important to us all. I do hope that justice prevails and we can see that unrepentant smirk removed off her face once and for all."
