Yes or No,
just the thought of reading this article, or studying the mind of a psychopath or sociopath terrifies me. I don't see how anyone can commit murder. I remember when I lived back in Texas many years ago, there was a killer on death row (he was executed sometime after) and he was interviewed on 20/20. I forgot his name but he killed people on highways randomly. He just smiled and said if he saw you that was it, didn't matter who you were. It was bone chilling. The closest thing I have ever seen to his interview was the BTK killer. This is the way Jodi strikes me. During her cross by Juan, it was as if she was shocked that anyone cared that she had slaughtered another human being. Same look in her eyes. I just know that she has either killed before or will kill again if she is ever set free. I could never have a career studying the minds of these people. It sounds like an interesting article but it creeps me out just thinking about it. I pray I never see anyone like Jodi up close and personal.

BBM Yes- these people are bone-chilling to me , also. I don't understand them- guess 'cause I'm not like them and neither are you.

They are somewhat like animals, but not really animals because animals do feel some empathy, IMO. Animals who do kill, do so for their survival and I can understand that.

You may not know who is the psychopath when you see them- they can hide themselves in the population until something ticks them off and they murder, I think.

As I have always stated- psychopaths are missing "something"- something vital to being a "human being".

They are, in a way, alien or monsters, IMO.

Is that for real. She. Does she ever have contact with other inmates. Looks like she fell backwards on something if those are real bruises or makeup.

That Facebook page said content unavailable. More likely she got pissed that the media were let back in and punched a wall...

Oh, okay....... "We the Jury sentence CMJA to...:drumroll::drumroll: TIME SERVED", is this dude for real, or what? Where have I seen this irrational nut before?

http://www.crimefilenews.com/2014/11/arias-trial-is-void-because-government.html?m=1

I don't know who this nut is- I've never seen anything on him as a supporter on the internet, but his use of "contemporaneous broadcast" in his article makes me think he is of the same ilk as missy:jail: and her supporters. Maybe he is a new "member"? Pftt!

And his little motto: "A conservative oasis with a Libertarian twist in a land of Bolsheviks" says exactly what he stands for. It's certainly not the truth of this trial, IMO.

YoNo, the list of 30 Truths are fabulous!! I love it when drivers band together to not let the obnoxious person in! Especially when it involves convoys of trucks that block the driver in!

Thank you for the smiles! DH enjoyed them too!

AHHHHH, here we go. This is where I remember his name from... he was trying to milk donations from CMJA supporters. I guess that didn't work out so well. LOL.

Just someone trying to get their 10 minutes of fame and fortune riding on the coattails of this killer. He read that her side has raised thirty grand and he offers to do this for twenty. I'm sure there are quite a few that will offer the same thing.

Very interesting article on psychopaths- almost makes you feel sorry for them.

I always wondered if these people need more from their parents than they received or would the psychopath still be psychopaths. (I'm not blaming the parents tho'- just ruminating on what
these people need to make them more "normal").

And I wonder if most psychopaths actually know there is something "different" about them in comparison to "normal" people. Israel Keyes knew he was "different" and acted accordingly to "blend" with others. But he still murdered, so definitely something very wrong there with knowing that he was different.

Remorse, empathy, compassion for others is missing- not being able to put themselves into "another's shoe" and feel that person's pain- but to do that, they would have to get out of their own shoes. When you put yourself in another person’s shoes you risk seeing yourself as others would see you—not quite as special as you think, so that's why the psychopath would not be able to do this? They become not so special? Other people don’t share the psychopath's egocentric view.

Pyschopaths are also narcissists who do not consider the pain they inflict on others; nor do they give any credence to others' perceptions. In his own mind, the narcissist is brilliant, perfect, etc. Maybe this leads to a rage of some sort when others don't see the psychopath's/narcissistic's brilliance, perfection, whatever- not a reaction to stress, IMO, but it is a reaction to a perceived slight, insult, criticism, or disagreement, so hence the murders? This is how I see missy:jail: and her murdering Travis. Travis' rejection of her was something she could not bear- the ultimate betrayal for her.

All my :moo:

Thanks for the article.
Thanks for the commentary! Your insight is awesome.

I found out how Jodi hurt her arm.
It was from patting herself on the back too much and then had to wear a brace.
It is supposed to be a joke but I am sure she thinks she deserves all this attention.

I agree with everything you said. I just pray I never cross paths with one. I think animal is too good a word for them. I read somewhere that psychopaths are very common, especially among CEO's of companies. Scary huh?

It also said most psychopaths don't kill but they don't feel empathy either. That is something I can't understand. Also I am not sure of the difference between a psychopath and a sociopath. I just know that it takes a monster to slaughter a man when you don't get what you expect from him.

Absolutely. I posted during the initial trial I believed Travis died, in the manner he did, as a result of a narcissistic rage. He did what no one is supposed to - he not only rejected a psychopath but he also exposed her for what she is. What I tell others is that they're lucky when and if a psychopath leaves them - if one chooses to leave a psychopath it incurs a great deal of wrath and animosity...so much so there may be times you wish s/he had killed you or that you hadn't left in the first place. Because the psychopath won't look to get even - they'll look for your utter destruction. Mine stalked me, cyberstalked me, threatened me and my kiddos, threatened and attempted suicide, enlisted family and friends as proxies to further abuse me, hacked my computer, and sent out a mass email telling people - coworkers, friends and family alike - what I was 'really like' (aka bad mother, lazy slob, and generally unworthy of life). The only reason I'm alive is because I put an ocean between us the first year he was in prison for an 8 year stretch. Even then, he had his mother send him images of my house from google earth and he sent me birthday cards for years with a drawing of my house on them.

I know I probably sound dramatic but little else scares me as much as the mentality of people affected with such a disorder - they're just so maligning, manipulative, devious, and conniving they leave little but chaos in their wake. And far too many people fall victim to them - because we can't think like they think.

For anyone who may be interested: Not even sure how I ended up on this other thread, but came across this very, very sad story and rather controversial issue, if I might add, concerning the "death with dignity" act and the case of Brittany Maynard . I honestly don't know what to say about that, and should no doubt just keep my mouth shut :( . But, moving on, regarding the potential death penalty in the CMJA case, and / or others, the second link is a post from that thread about how death penalty drugs actually work. Though a very sombering topic, it's at least somewhat educational.

Here we go again. What will they pull to aggravate us this week. I'm way behind on reading due to problems at home. I think I have lost some spark over this case. I am so sick of Jodi I could spit. This is turning into a battle of the wits. I do so want to see her in prison for the holidays. Nurmi is sickening with his asinine ideas. I still feel the State should take control of this trial instead of everyone else. cant they call a halt somehow and just give her LWOP? plant her azz in prison and save AZ. some money. People must realize we don't always get what we want. Its part of growing up and out.IMO:gaah:

So will Arias end up in court today or is Nurmi holding it hostage.....again?
