Execution Of Scott Panetti, Inmate With Schizophrenia, 'Would Cross A Moral Line': Lawyer

n-SCOTT-PANETTI-large.jpg

"...Panetti is scheduled to die by lethal injection Dec. 3....

Panetti's lawyers said that the violent spree was triggered by a "psychotic break," which also led the man to reject a plea deal for life in prison and represent himself at trial.

During the trial, he donned a purple cowboy costume and called witnesses such as the John F. Kennedy, the Pope, and Jesus Christ. In 1995, Panetti was convicted of capital murder in the shooting deaths of his in-laws...."

The Hughes have been speaking up on social media saying this expert didn't interview them 4 context #jodiarias
-------------------------------------------

I don't understand why these "experts" don't interview the people who actually wrote the emails to Travis;

instead they try to "dissect" just their words into some meaning relevant to the case.

Next we will have a new witness give his or her opinion of
Dr F's opinion of
Chris' opinion of
JA's opinion of
Travis.

The really sad thing is that this will most likely actually occur when Juan brings in his rebuttal witnesses.

It sounds as though dating is quite encouraged in the Mormon faith? Please excuse me if I'm incorrect, but seems like dating a few people—and for some Mormons, even marrying a few—is fine. It's dishonesty and jealousy that are problematic.

I don't think Travis was dishonest when he dated other women besides missy:jail:. I think he told her to see/date other men after he decided that she was not "the one" for marriage for him, IIRC.
Also, when a women throws herself, with sex, on a man, like she did, I don't blame Travis for having sex with her- it's a, what do they call it now, a "hook-up" (never mind that he was a Mormon and it was against one of their rules. I think most religions have that rule and a lot of people don't follow that rule).

:moo:

Want to wish everyone a very happy weekend!!!

It may be a slow day with trial news since no actual court. Not sure if any motions or anything may come up today.

I'm 22! The heck? I was listening to Nirvana when I actually was 22.

The great thing about getting old is we get permission to say things like...

"Back in the day...."

"I had to walk 3 miles to school in the snow...."

And plenty of other stand-byes we can throw at people. LOL

I loved Cassettes....LOL I still have my collection. :)

I can remember the first time I saw on TV footage of a new "heavy metal type" band playing and in the crowd , the kids were all "slam-dancing". I seriously thought it was a riot and a big fight in the crowd. I was like.....Why aint the cops breaking up the fight?

LOL

WHAT!? I'm 14 (or 74) I wish we could pick more than one answer, I couldn't decide between Nirvana or Mozart, so I picked The Rolling Stones. I still have all my cassettes too, my truck has both CD and cassette player, my Escape only has CD player :(

Where do they dig up these ridiculous experts???? The killer and Travis only dated a few months!!! I just don't get it. So what if he was a little cocky and
dated multiple women at one time. I don't think that is against the law but premeditated murder is against the law. If he made the killer feel so bad - blah blah blah blah blah - why didn't she just leave him alone. They were not engaged, married.

If executing Stabby is "too cruel", why not dye her hair blonde again, lock her with Drew Peterson and ask if she can get info on where Staci Peterson is. Hunger Games 2014.

Hi LinasK , she is just plain ugly. Her nose looks like it is growing and she needs a shave. I truthfully cannot see what any man sees in artificial 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬. A bit maybe for nearly flat chested woman but she is disgusting to me.IMO :seeya:

....you forgot CMJA's butt implants...........:behind:

Seriously, the jury is supposed to believe CMJA had esteem issues when she did everything to change her appearance from her Hispanic heritage to her rendition of the ultimate white girl with a butt. She wouldn't even let Martinez pronounce her last name in it's correct "Latino" pronunciation. CMJA went up the food chain, B. Juarez, Matt M., Daryl B., than Travis. Each was a step up and she didn't get there because she was a professional waitress. She got there because of a major body over haul, SPF 85, and sex.

Looks like the "Michael Jackson Syndrome".

She could have gone to college, educated herself, got a REAL career....but no, she wanted to ride on the coat tails of every guy she hooked up with until they couldn't give her what she wanted.

Travis had what she wanted, but he didn't want her.

.......and she still drove away with his Mercedes in tow. Went to places she never would have seen.

The only thing that put a fly in the ointment was religion. She'd never be that virginal wife Travis would take to the temple to be married to.

Can't "legitimately" fix THAT.

Agreed! Some Hispanic women look exotic, Jodi never did, even as a blonde- that's why it bugs me when these talking heads refer to her as a former bombshell. To me she only looked clingy and desperate in the photos with Travis. I see evil in her dark eyes.

Her little sister is the one that got the "looks". I think she's quite pretty.
CMJA got smacked with the ugly stick.....JMO.
