41.........LOL! They're still off by 12 years! The first question should have given the option of a DeLorean, but I kinda had an edge on that. The Scottsdale PD actually had 2 of them as squad cars back in the mid 70's, pre-"Back to the Future".

It sounds as though dating is quite encouraged in the Mormon faith? Please excuse me if I'm incorrect, but seems like dating a few people—and for some Mormons, even marrying a few—is fine. It's dishonesty and jealousy that are problematic.

Yeah, so just because he lead Deanna on, the Hughes (it was NONE of their business) expected him to marry the next girl who came along- Jodi, only they also got it WRONG as to who was the abusive sociopath- sure wasn't Travis!!!

I don't think Travis was dishonest when he dated other women besides missy:jail:. I think he told her to see/date other men after he decided that she was not "the one" for marriage for him, IIRC.
Also, when a women throws herself, with sex, on a man, like she did, I don't blame Travis for having sex with her- it's a, what do they call it now, a "hook-up" (never mind that he was a Mormon and it was against one of their rules. I think most religions have that rule and a lot of people don't follow that rule).

BBM I don't understand why they thought Travis should marry someone after only a few months of dating. In the beginning of their relationship, I think Travis considered missy:jail:, but decided she wasn't the one for him and he told her to date /see others.

He led Deanna on???? I don't think so. Maybe the Hughes thought this? :thinking: Deanna could have left Travis whenever she wanted. They became more friends, after a time, than "lovers". After the 8 or so (?) years together, I think they had ample time to figure out where their relationship was going, and I think that there was a lot of love there, but not for marriage- just very good friends.

If he said he "loved" missy:jail: in a email/tweet/phone call (?), it was just a casual "luv ya" kind of thing that people say sometimes. Doesn't mean much. It's like a "hi, how you doing" thingy. Most people don't want to know how you are really doing- it's just something to say. :moo:

BTW- I'm not really refuting what anyone has to say here about Travis and his relationships.
I'm just tired of all the "experts" in relationship/sex and what they are saying about him. Enough already! :stormingmad:

Welcome back. How is baby Zuri doing (this nosy Aunt wants to know)?

Miss Zuri is doing great!

She has joined a "gang" (oh they grow up so fast!) She's officially part of the "wolf pack crew". They find a thrill in chasing 2 of the emu around until the emu throw on the brakes and reverse the chase...........seriously funny! Kissy enjoys having the extended baby care of the wuffs, Zubaz also takes up the slack, so there's no more panicking when Zuri goes more than 10 feet away. To tell you the truth, Kissy is a really chilled out mom, she doesn't get nervous unless Zuri is out of sight.

Halter lesson #1 was pretty good, the jingling of the metal rings was kind of weird for her at first, then she kind of dug it when she started bobbing her head and did a bouncy kind of lope doing circles around Kissy..............

Fun, fun, fun............crazy fun!

And today I'm boning up on my welding skills....my head is NOT into it!:gaah: My lil' bro bought me a MIG welder (I know more about OA welding...grrr) but he said even a monkey could do it, major dare implied there. Took the blue flame decals off the welding helmet (pretty cool, it's solar powered/light sensitive), pulled out the welder instructions/care manual and watched the DVD........today is turning into a blah day.

Just not that into it right now...curses!

Do you remember last year when Mimi Hall was on the stand? If you noticed, Jodi was wearing just about the same frames, then she got a new pair. I think back to Jodi's mission, and if the change in hair color, since she said that the neighbor's knew she was a blonde, that it was more to look like Mimi.

It wasn't a dream. It really happened. Jodi made sure to bring attention to herself. I doubt if any of the other Mormon women would do that in public. It was all an act. It was Jodi letting everyone know she was Travis's woman. Everyone needs to keep this in focus. This was at the beginning of the relationship when things were hot and heavy, before Travis realized Jodi was just a booty call and he'd never marry her.
