I hate the word hate but this trial is stirring up an emotion in me that is naturally not me. I can not wait for this to end. I have mixed emotions about the DP but if she gets it, it's not going to bother me.

It sure is repulsive trial. It shocks me the defense approach. It almost seems like JA is just wanting to destroy Travis reputation even if it means it gets the jury more mad at her.

Maybe juror #3 figured the trial was going to run too long and couldn't commit to it anymore because of job, family things, etc???

Yes, JA surely did say that when she was trying to force the prosecution to give her a good plea deal. She is surely sticking to her promise even at the expense of her own life it seems.

I wonder if she realizes the risk in this DT approach OR if she thinks her approach is a good approach for her. I keep wondering if she saw how CA trial went and decided to copy it.

Yes or No, I read your posts from last night and I agree with you. The current events of this trial have saddened and sickened me to the point that I am grateful for every day it is delayed and we aren't exposed to defense tactics. I am a strong believer that the defense team and witnesses will pay a steep price with Travis's blood on their hands. I feel the same way about Baez and Cheney. It's coming for them all. It would be so different if they represented an innocent person.

I had to go out yesterday and just reading what the judge allowed Fonseca to do in court repulsed me. Travis did not deserve to die and he doesnt deserve to be trashed. AZlawyer and Gitana feel the same way and another famous lawyer (forgot the name at the moment). It is difficult to sit on the sidelines and be able to do nothing. I would like to launch a write in campaign to remove JSS as judge in Arizona. At the very least, there should be respect by witnesses to the officers of the court.

The jury did find JA guilty during the guilt phase but by the questions from the jury, I predict a hung jury. I also predict JSS will not give her LWOP. She may walk the streets and is so, will kill again. I predicted Anthony would kill again if she were to have another child. It has been way too easy for both of them.

I just have to walk away. Thankfully, I have much to do today.

Regardless of how much JM can prove BN corrupted evidence, I believe this judge will give BN and the defense a pass. I think she is angry that the COA overturned her decision and everyone is going to pay. Just infuriates me.

One more thing, any man who will allow his daughter to swear in court that he molested her (George Anthony or Bill Arias) and not take the stand to refute it and testify against the killer is NOT a man. He is a wimp.

I don't believe the jury's upset or angry. I feel it will be a hung jury. We live in a sick, twisted, world. Some of them are buying this crap and it only takes one. They don't know all we know. And they see the judge sitting back allowing all this. JA won't get the DP. JSS will not give her LWOP.

I share your sadness. I have a fear that the jury will get into deliberations and realize that all they know about is Travis and what a bad person he was...(NOT TRUE OF COURSE) ...and not much at all about CMJA....I truly feel as of Travis is the one on trial here and not CMJA....sad,sad..

I has a hard time sleeping last night. I kept thinking of Travis and his family. But I decided that I will not give up in watching this trial as I have (as everyone else here has) have invested almost 2 years to this trial and I won't give up my support, such as it is, of Travis and his family.

I believe the major issue in this case is Kirk Nurmi and CMJA blackmailed, and I do mean that, the State of Arizona into paying KN private practice fees.
There is no ceiling on how much Arizona will be forced to pay due to the threat of "ineffective counsel" or something as simple as the Judge telling Nurmi to "wrap it up, you're stalling". All of this goes to CMJA getting a "fair trial".........if the defense had a legitimate excuse, they'd provide balloons and clowns.

We read that with the tweets of yesterday's fiasco: Nurmi doing a repeat of the same BS he asked his witness when she originally took the stand. The witness once again being evasive and hostile when Martinez crossed. Any effort by Judge Stephens to shut the defense or their witness down would have been yet another reason for the defense to fire off another round of senseless motions.

Financially and legally, Nurmi and CMJA have the State by the short and curlies.

I hope Judges in the future will look at this "trial" when Public Defenders request they be removed from an ongoing case.

This case is a sick abuse of tax payer's money any way you slice it.

I thought there were only certain topics an inmate could read. I was sure I read it in the Caylee Anthony Murder, when the felon was in jail. She got caught passing notes in a book to an inmate. someone then remarked about what inmates could read.

Nawwww................! We've yet to hear JM's witnesses or his closing. DeMarte is going to blow Dr. F out of the water. And who knows if the jury was as irritated with "Dr. Don't Text After 11:00 PM" as we were. She could have easily asked to answer "Yes" or "No" with a qualifier.

Anyone who has raised children would have "wanted" to put Dr. F in the corner or said "Don't be a smart azz."

"Did you look at all the cookies? Yes or no?"

hi, no caps today as my hand is very bad. in ohio the sentencing day allows certain no. of people to say why he/she should live, certain no. to say why he/she should die. as California does , did with scott p..jury listens and decides fate. all the trashing of travis WOULD NEVER FLOAT!! oh I hate these varmints.. :stormingmad:

Twitter was going crazy yesterday about the courtroom antics of Dr. M-F, especially about JSS not admonishing Dr. M-F to answer JM's questions.
Why she didn't tell Dr. M-F to answer JM's questions is just beyond me and let her ramble on and on without answering the questions- I'm speechless. What is JSS thinking?
Someone even wrote to JSS about her actions (or inaction) in the courtroom and posted it.
