Every Christmas my family would watch and listen to this TV station's broadcast of the Yule Log. I noticed that there was still a yule log on TV yesterday, but the music was not very traditional. :sigh:

WPIX Yule Log

The Yule Log was created in 1966 by Fred M. Thrower, President and CEO of WPIX, Inc. Inspired by an animated Coca-Cola commercial a year earlier that showed Santa Claus at a fireplace, he envisioned this television program as a televised Christmas gift to those residents of "The Big Apple" who lived in apartments and homes without fireplaces. This also provided time for employees of the TV station to stay home with their families, instead of working for the usual morning news program.

Yes! Me too - was watching this morning and NOT the traditional music, so I turned on my cable - "Sounds of the Season: Classic Holiday Songs"!!! :santahat: And have opened all my Christmas presents!

and Skyped with my brother and sisters last night! That was fun - and we're going to do it again on New Year's eve!

Probably because she's in seg..................HA, HA, HA!!!! Maybe she drew herself a Christmas tree and a bunch of presents underneath it?

Sucks being a murderer, hey, Jodi? Enjoy your soy turkey.

I just got word a few hours ago that my cousins' girlfriend is in labor 5 weeks early! Baby girl wanted to be born NOW!

She's not in the world yet but I told them they should name her Noelle! :) pictures to follow tomorrow, hopefully!

And don't worry, doctors say she looks good and aren't too worried about her being over a month premature!

Baby Leanna made her way into the world at 2:07 Christmas morning!

And she is sooo adorable! 5.6 lbs and totally perfect!

A Christmas baby...what a lovely gift! And that's a pretty good size for a preemie. Congrats!

Does anyone remember this tweet from last year from missy's:jail: brother?

Is this the same brother that spoke to Dr. G and if so, can JM use this "info" in the retrial now?

That is not the same brother YoN. Dr. Geff read the interview from her bother Carl, the one she wacked in the head with a baseball club.
The facebook or twitter comment is from her youngest brother Joey, who is 13 yrs younger than the murderer. I honestly don't think he really said that. I think someone doctored it somehow. Although the answer was RIGHT, I have always been a little suspicious of that actually being something her brother would say to the public. MOO ~~~

She's probably been punching some walls lately, but hey that's not violent!

It's really going to suck for Jodi when she's nothing but a footnote in history as a mentally disturbed murderer.

But what twitter account is that--something associated with JAII? Who posted it? Strange.

That's missy's:jail: "official" twitter A/C according to her "official" website:

http://**************/social-media-jodi-arias-twitter-jodi-arias-facebook-myspace/blog/ (sorry, but her website doesn't show up on WS, but if you Google: the Jodi Arias art gallery and click on media, it will take you to her twitter A/C, so that's how one knows it is "official").

I don't know who runs her twitter/website- some say MDLR, some say her Aunt Sue. Who knows and who cares, IMO.

I do know that missy:jail: is not affiliated with JAII anymore as they have had a falling out :bigfight:. :)

I'm posting this again- just in case some have missed it (wrote by a missy :jail: supporter):

I think it's strange too janx. Probably one of the crazy minions that support her, send her money and inflate her gigantic Ana umm ego. :giggle:

From these tweets, I suppose we must find out the correct usage of dissociation (or I must ).
Dr. Demarte will certainly speak about this in her rebuttal (whenever she gets up to the stand, of course, and Dr. G gets off). :sigh:

Geffner says this is dissociation #jodiarias #3tvarias

So here goes
------------------

Dissociation Isn't a Life Skill

http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/pathological-relationships/201211/dissociation-isnt-life-skill

Recent developments in the theory of dissociation

"... dissociative experiences are among the diagnostic criteria for acute stress disorder (ASD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as borderline personality disorder ...

...the clinical utility of both the ICD-10 and the DSM-IV classifications of dissociative disorders has been called into question...

...these inconsistencies between ICD-10, DSM-IV and clinical reality not only illustrate the confusion surrounding the complex issue of dissociation, but may also serve to perpetuate it...

...there is no consistent agreement about precisely what dissociation "is"..." so for me-

Oh- another word we should be aware of, IMO (very important):

Malingering

Law and Psychiatry- Malingering

"...People trying to avoid responsibility or punishment for something, such as criminal behavior, generally feign psychosis...
...The first level of assessment is suspicion.
...Many commonly used psychological and neuropsychological tests can raise
one’s index of suspicion, although they should not be used alone to make a “diagnosis” of malingering.

http://www.reidpsychiatry.com/columns/Reid07-00.pdf
---
Addressing The Issue of Malingering Within Forensic Assessment

"...recent surveys of attorneys indicate that the majority of lawyers feel they should inform and prepare their clients for any psychological assessment. Attorneys may coach their clients on how to respond to psychological testing and some attorneys argue that it is their ethical obligation to assist their client in this way and failure to do so could be construed as malpractice..." HMMM

NEUROPSYCH & PSYCH TESTING : CRIMINAL LAW

MALINGERING

"... Malingering assessment is made more challenging when lawyers or even other mental health professionals “coach” clients before testing in order to help them avoid being detected as malingerers....

http://www.forensicpanel.com/expert_services/neuropsychology/criminal_law/malingering.html

-------------------------------------
A very in-dept look at malingering:

Clinical and conceptual problems in the attribution of malingering in forensic evaluations.

...At best, our tests can tell us that what we are seeing is unlikely to be, for example, schizophrenia or a true neuropsychological deficit, but such tests cannot tell us that the individual before us is intentionally lying (i.e., malingering), because tests cannot ascertain the motive or intention behind an individual's presentation or test performance, and motive is the essential component of malingering...

...when psychologists make judgments about malingering they are venturing outside the normal bounds of the science of psychology and are actually making a judgment about an individual's motives, intentions, and behavior....

There is no litmus test for whether someone is malingering, and in many cases in which forensic experts differ regarding malingering, they continue to do so even after a judge or jury has rendered a verdict that for legal (but not scientific) purposes answers the question...."

(in missy's case, IMO, Dr. G is assuming that missy is not lying )

Mentally Ill or Malingering?

"...sometimes a clever psychopath can convince a lot of people that he's mentally ill...."
