Actually it's Advil Cold & Sinus today, vitamins, and a healthy salad because I have a cold, and got my flu shot. Hopefully the trial won't nauseate me!

Don't know if the tweets covered these tidbits I read on the BK site:

Det. Flores has been in the Mesa PD for 21 years........(that is why his PIO job was NOT a demotion, he's taking the usual route one does when they're getting close to retirement.)

At one point, the defense demanded the County Prosecutor (JM) be removed and put on the witness stand.

And, to reiterate, TRANSCRIPTS will be available by NOON tomorrow.

On another note: Read through the blog that the Reallymeandog link was referring to last night..........holy cats..........rabid monkeys come to mind. Looked at the clock and it was after 10:00 pm. SW is everywhere CMJA is mentioned. I wonder if she has her official "Keyboard Warrior" badge yet? :floorlaugh: What the heck does she do for a life? Florida has a lot of things going on (YorN, I find myself corrected, I thought she was from New York, my bad! Please, no more essays!:tantrum: )

And the BF just came in and said "Fox news said the Judge may throw out the CMJA case for Prosecutorial Misconduct!!!" And I'm all like :facepalm:. I can't get that man to quit watching that channel!

ETA ..... Lordy, this has me in such a state of confusion. Today is about release of secret witness testimony, isn't it?

I think that is the goal of defense..... muddle things so much that the jury can't keep anything straight. Gahhhhh Gahhhhhh!

The defense has gone so left field it's beyond comprehension. What does this have to do with MITIGATION?

At this point, I wouldn't care if the jury hung and Stephens gave CMJA LWP/LWOP. Then TA's family goes on with their wrongful death suit. Because we are spinning out wheels here while the County cash register drops more $$$ into the defense.

Sounds like she is giving defense enough time, but maybe not too much time for Johnny come lately to look more at computer?

Defense will not be able to claim unfair - JSS is allowing more testimony from MCPD and their Specialist.
It's just to bad it was previously stated ruling would be today, but it was also stated it was going to be
taken under advisement or something like that. Maybe it was to hear testimony from key players again.
I'm just surprised it's in front of jury???

BBM: The surprise is where is it going? What is the jury going to find with all this testimony which effects their decision on Mitigating Factors? How is the defense going to "spin it"?

Problem is, the jury will not hang until they deliberate. And it looks like that is not going to be happening anytime soon. The defense will stay on this nonsense path as long as they are allowed to. Until the person in charge of this courtroom actually accepts her responsibility and takes charge, the defense will run with this. It is wasting time, and that is their strategy. They want the DP thrown out and hope that by the first week of February or so that happens in another court. Another reason to delay is hoping to lose jurors. For the defense, every day there is a delay is golden. If the judge is not interested in steering this trial back on a proper track, why should the defense take that initiative?
