Bits of truth again from JA: :)

Nurmi: "When you look at yourself in those videos, what do you think about
yourself"?

JA: "It is revolting...."

This is interesting. I think this proves that she had Travis phone answering voicemail passcode where she could get into his voicemail and delete her own messages she was leaving until she got it just right. This would prove she was listening to all Travis phone messages that people were leaving him.
Maybe we already knew this, but this seems to be proof.

Nurmi: "When you listen to your voice on that phone call, what do you think of
yourself"?

JA: "...I was at Hoover Dam....I remember that phone call, and I remember how
many tries it took me to get the recording right so that I sounded normal....

Does Paypal have a refund policy? Don't think her buds are going to be too happy about being punked.

Haven't read the transcripts yet, feeding lunch to the cayuses, and then "reading".

IIRC she admitted to it in original court~~however "justified" it by self defense/emotional abuse allegations.

Thanks ATT, I would never even have thought of that. I've always thought of Bluetooth as some kind of a mouth disease

Bluetooth is wonderful! It allows me to have hands-free phone conversations through the GPS in my car while I drive!!

So many people thought that video above was real! Poor lady, she had to add on her Youtube

(Ok I had to come back and tell you guys that this is a mockumentary. It's not real. About 30% of the people who watched it thought I was SERIOUS!!! The purpose in making this video is to show how asinine Jodis self-defense theory is. Travis was naked, wet, vulnerable & unarmed. He was SHOWERING! Who attacks someone from the shower? (And that's aside from all the other evidence stacked against her). So anyway this is total sarcasm. So no more death threats ok people?

It was hilarious, once you get beyond the opening you immediately realize it is satire. Who attacks with shampoo, soap, a razor, and tampons???

"I think of what those lies put people through.... there are a lot of things I wish I could do over again, that is one of them." #JodiArias

This means she wishes she could lie better.

What a waste, a complete waste! She never sounded normal in that recording and Mimi and everyone else immediately pointed LE to her!

I'm TOTALLY NOT STICKING UP FOR THE CONVICT, but many voicemails have an option at the end of recording that you can listen & re-record at the same time. It's not dialing into the voicemail w/ a passcode, but at the end of recording, you can review your mssg and then delete/re-record.

I don't doubt she probably had his passcode, but this comment doesn't directly make it a fact. Peace!

Interesting. Thanks. I have never used a service with that feature. Perhaps if we knew what service Travis had or which specific service the recording was on we could tell if he had that feature.

There's the "If you are satisfied with your message/voice mail, press 1, if you would like to hear your message/voice mail, press 2, if you'd would like to re-record your message/voice mail, press 3".........something along those lines. Then you have the options to send, mark/send as urgent, disconnect.
That's been around for at least 10 years if not 15.

>Finished the transcripts, some deletions and some additions from the original 18 day bruhaha in 2013.<

Just a few notes:

Bobby J. scared CMJA's brother and friends away with a sword which CMJA says is hers when BJ leaves it on his porch.
CMJA takes martial arts with Matt M. (I knew it, you can't be around people who are into that and NOT get into it yourself when you're young).
Smart kid, that CMJA, knows what a coke mirror and cocaine is at 4.
So her mom smoked pot right before her birth......and the hospital wasn't doing the cursory blood screening for drugs on newborns then? 1980, maybe, maybe not. Does that make CMJA brain damaged? Lol!
CMJA left out her dad catching her in her car when she ditched school, guess that would show he was a "concerned parent".
And nothing about the "grow farm" on the roof that dad called the cops about....uh, "concerned parent".
CMJA was a hostess at 13? Seriously? And home life is going to h3ll in a hand basket, but she continues to work for dad till she's 17?
The family went camping all the time....I thought things went south with the family when she was 13?
Oh, cry me a river, she had 2 working parents, oh puleeze. Poor CMJA was a "latchkey child".
CMJA mets Travis and breaks it off with Daryl B. in a mere 10 days...just in case, you know, cause she doesn't "cheat". I thought it was because she was going to become LDS?
What's this TA in the elevator and he licks his lips stuff? Something new?
The Flying J encounter didn't seem to have the "woken out of her sleep sexscapade", guess she forgot that.
I thought she was in Gus Searcy's trailer when she got the pic of TA's (we all know it's DB's) "junk"? Now she's at a restaurant meeting instead?
Her memory just isn't quite that sharp these days, dontcha know?

I just came away from it with that slimey, gold digging, social climbing, boyfriend in the back pocket kinda thing. And somehow, I REALLY don't think TA was the aggressor. A guy doesn't get all bold like that unless it's a pattern, and we haven't heard that at all. His only other intimate partner was Deanna.

Have to just add: She gives him a BJ in the parking lot and is upset he doesn't kiss her good bye. Doesn't sound like TA is as "pervy" as she wants to make him sound. He probably didn't call her because SHE jumped his "junk" and he was embarrassed. $10 says SHE's the one who flipped the mirror. (If any of it ever occurred to begin with)

Is there court tomorrow? :fence:

BBM: I agree. And, I think any part of her narrative where she describes aggressive sexual acts by Travis were actually the opposite. She was the aggressor.
She was a predator with $$ in her eyeballs and sights on the fairytale life she experienced at that PPL dinner.

Ok. I read the transcript. What still isn't clear to me is when does Juan get to cross-examine?

Based on the sidebars of that transcript, not even the judge knows. :moo:

What a wacky trial. I am embarrassed for our justice system.

Don't worry-- unless you were trying to pretend you are sick when calling your boss when you're really not OR trying to hide the fact that you just brutally slaughtered another human being, there's probably not been a reason for most people to have used this feature.

I think never~~think they will strike testimony due to her unwilling to testify in public. Jmo

While we wait... Here's a nearly-two hour legal discussion/debate/argument about the Casey Anthony trial. I'm posting it here because it's fascinating and because it shows many parallels between the craziness of CA's trial and the craziness of JA's. I hope I hope I hope the Pace Law School Center for Continuing Legal Education does a presentation on the Jodi Arias trial, if and when it ever ends. Would Nurmi and Martinez be able to sit next to each other on stage and even feign civility?

Ok. I read the transcript. What still isn't clear to me is when does Juan get to cross-examine?

The defense was still up with their direct of the "killer".

So:

Does CMJA's secret testilying get struck, the jury has to disregard, if CMJA refuses to take the stand for the rest of direct, cross, and re-direct? Will Larry try to claim "Mistrial" because his wee defendant and her cohorts are skeered?

or

Does CMJA again take the stand? Unless she's waiting for a "Hail Mary" from the Supreme (Or whatever court is next) court? <---Nurmi threatened he was going to file.

I think CMJA was going to "soak it" for as many weeks as she could on the stand.

I just read a day and a half of the trial in less than 3 hours.......... amazing. :floorlaugh: The sidebars are good. I REALLY think Judge Stephens is going forward with a knowledge of how Larry works it. He's got a fully loaded trick bag, and not afraid to use it.

Still laughing about the dope, mom and pops getting high early on, but "Call the Po-LEESE, paw, Jodi Ann's got POT growing on our roof!"
