Still remember when I was in grade school my parents got me one of those record players that were in like a suitcase and my first two 45's were These Boots are made for Walking and Georgie Girl.

Arias more than likely decided to end the relationship with her previous boyfriends. The break up was her idea - Arias was tired of them. I doubt anyone broke up with Arias - if they tried, Arias - more than likely - emotionally blackmailed them, had a tantrum. Eventually, for Arias boyfriends prior to Travis Alexander - Arias moved on, and, on her terms.

Arias' previous boyfriends that were relieved to have Arias out of their lives could have known, "Arias is psycho - therefore I will not engage her in any physical activity, I will not allow her talk me into being friends with benefits, I will change all of passwords, I will tell everyone I know that Arias is not welcomed."

Travis Alexander - it seemed - was trying to get away from Arias. However, it was on his terms - not hers. Arias was not ready to let Travis Alexander go. Travis Alexander "fell" into the friends with benefits trick - he did not change his passwords - he did not stop communicating with her. Travis Alexander kept communicating with her - and, giving her information about his schedule, whereabouts, the company that he was keeping. He did not put his friends / roommates on Arias Alert (meaning that if Arias was near - something was wrong - please help).

Travis Alexander was the perfect prey for Arias - Travis Alexander was too kind, too forgiving, and too trusting. I do not think that Travis Alexander could give Arias the "cold" shoulder because doing so made him feel guilty.

The pictures of Travis Alexander the last day that he was alive - he does not look happy, satisfied, or in love. He looks tired, weary, and scared - the picture of Travis Alexander laying on his bed with his head looking over his right shoulder - IMO - Travis Alexander looks beaten down.

Travis Alexander seemed to me as if he knew the truth - that Arias was dangerous and was a jeopardy to his safety & well being. I think that the truth about Arias made Travis Alexander feel badly - horrible that he felt this way about another human being, and, that another human being was filled with darkness.

I wish that Travis Alexander would have had someone in his life who would have taken the burden of Arias away from him - someone that would have said: "If anyone sees Arias near Travis - do not leave him alone. Travis give me your cell phone - you are getting a new one with a new number and will not communicate with Arias in any way. Arias is going to be told that you are going on a mission trip. Contact Arias' family and let them know that Arias is not welcomed at Travis Alexander's house - or around his friends."

I have witnessed the steps taken during bad breakups - I have been told, "Mark is not dating Jenny any longer - she had been here with us in the past on holiday - if you see her - know that she is not welcomed, and, is not to be with Mark." I've witnessed the "persistent" ex boyfriends that show up unannounced "returning" property that have been told: "She has gone off to visit her family in Sweden."

Barnes and Noble has a book section regarding "How to break up with a Psycho Girlfriend / Boyfriend; Signs that you are Dating a Psycho; If You Go to Bed Thinking Your Girlfriend is Going to Kill You in Your Sleep It's Time to Break Up (how to get out alive); Being Called / Texted 200 Times A Day Doesn't Mean She Loves You; You Cannot Talk or Look at Anyone: She Can Keep in Touch with Ex Boyfriends."

I think that Arias manipulated Travis Alexander so much - that he felt sorry for her. Which made Travis Alexander feel as though he owed her something - that if she showed up before daybreak, he had to let her in. On June 4, 2008, Travis Alexander could have persuaded Arias to go to a restaurant to eat breakfast. At the restaurant - he could have said that she is better than having sex before marriage - and that she deserves more - and he wants her to have "more." At the restaurant - he could have contacted as many friends as he could have saying that Arias was in Mesa and he was uncomfortable. Then he could checked into a hotel room - telling them that no one can know which room he is in (even say that he has a protective order against Arias).

Travis Alexander was too kind to do these counterariasm (techniques to protect himself against the real life threatening danger Arias). Travis Alexander could not give Arias a "moving" speech that was lie - "I want to take you out for breakfast - we need to celebrate - I want to enjoy you - at breakfast I want you to tell me the 50 places (to see before you die) that you want to see together in the next ten months." Knowing that he was saying these things just to get Arias to the restaurant so that he could leave her there - check into undisclosed hotel.

I think that Arias was always psychotic - she just never met anyone that was as kind as Travis Alexander. Arias' other boyfriends were happy to use counterariasm techniques to become free of her - or, her Arias left her other boyfriends because she was done with them.

All Travis Alexander wanted to do was to move on with his life without Arias as his girlfriend, partner, wife. This did not give Arias the right - an excuse - a reason to stab him almost 30 times, slice his throat from ear to ear, and shoot him in the head.

Arias is evil - and always has been. We see her parents on the police interrogation video basically saying, "we are not stunned - we always knew something was wrong with our daughter." The reaction of Mr. and Mrs. Arias shows that Arias has always been evil.

I am relieved for Travis Alexander's loved ones that there has been justice for Travis Alexander (with the jury's verdict of guilty). There are no words to describe the senseless loss of a young man with so much potential - so much more joy to give - so much more help to give - with so much more life to live just because Arias was mad that Travis Alexander did not want her.

Excellent discussion and great ideas. A few comments--

Arias did not break up with all her previous boyfriends on her terms. Except for Daryll Brewer, she testified that they all found other women, which she learned about by stalking/spying and refining her sleuthing techniques over time. She discovered Bobby Juarez emailing another woman by hitting the back button on the library computer he had been using. She claimed a stranger walked into her workplace and told her Matt was seeing Bianca (clearly a lie since she used it more than once). Keep in mind that the one brave roommate who surfaced said there was a parade of men going to Arias' room, so she was kicked out. When she says she is a "one man at a time" woman, she means she doesn't do threesomes.

Breaking up with someone and stalking them does not make sense. Stalkers are those who have been dumped against their will-- or who feel a sense of ownership or possession without any participation of their target at all. The stalker can see it as a game of him/her wits against the wits of the target. A way to prove they are winners and not losers, even though rejected.

I completely second what you said about Jodi Arias being always evil. People who wail about what could have been done at this point or that point are well-meaning but don't realize that "bad to the bone" is real. Some people are just born that way and nothing can be done. They are anomalies, sports, and we are fascinated with them in that same gawker way we tend to stare at someone with a physical birth deformity.

But with fear.

(psst... I've just settled on the color. It's either that or the Candy Red. But it has to be a 2011 GT, because they thoroughly ruined the body design in 2013, and I am not that big a fan of the 2012 either... But you'll hear me coming when it's time to ride, I think.) :seeya:

evidence:

5- Marni leaves her cell phone at home while she is on her mission to murder so their wouldn't be a trace of pings indicating her location.
Jodi turned her phone off.

6- Marni made a phone call to the boyfriend to say hello that afternoon to act like everyone was a-okay much like Jodi made a phone call to Travis when she knew he was dead. (aforementioned boyfriend wasn't the victim though...his pregnant girlfriend was murdered)

7-Marni had hijacked Shaun Gayle's accounts and was reading his emails and harassing his girlfriends with letters and phone calls.
Jodi accessed Travis's email, etc. and sent text messages back to his other female friends to discourage them from connecting.

8- Marni registered for an online dating site.....much like Jodi looking for another through the Mormon site.

9- the rental car that Marni had sent to a friends home was far from her own home but closer to the murder destination.

10- Like Jodi, Marni wanted to look better....Jodi wanted to apply makeup before she had her cheerful smiling mug shot taken, Marni wanted to have her hair dyed and cut before trial so that she would appear more attractive to the jury.

However, unlike Jodi, Marni bought a book online on how to make a disposable silencer, had it overnighted to her home and proceeded to go to Home Depot to buy the supplies.
Did the neighbors in Travis's neighborhood not HEAR A GUN SHOT? The victim of Marni Yang had neighbors that heard a GUN SHOT even though it was muffled by a silencer. Didn't anyone in that quiet neighborhood of Travis's hear a gun go off??????
I wish that they had and called the police......the officers may not have been able to save Travis given that the whole thing took place so quickly but she could have been arrrested red handed immediately.

Also, unlike Jodi, Marni involved other people in her crime.....her psychic friend whose home she stayed at before she went to kill the pregnant woman and to whose home she returned later that evening where they together disposed of evidence (wig, clothing, and burying a bracelet that she stole from the crime scene)

Marni denied having killed Ms. Reuter and her unborn baby but still was found guilty.......Jodi eventually came around and admitted it but still claimed it wasn't her fault.

4-Like Jodi, Marni rejected a bright blue car (Jodi a bright red one) from the rental agency.

Because we have the moratorium on the death sentence here in IL, Marni Yang received 2 life sentences for the expectant mother and child.....without possibility of parole.
In AZ, Jodi will certainly receive the DP.

Agree...would love if you could post a pic of it! While we are speaking of Jimi I feel that I must confess to a sin I commited 33 years ago (I was 11)...I stole 2 things in my lifetime one was a koala bear that if you squeezed his back his arms opened and he was holding a lipgloss (I know you all remember those different squeezy animals as we would clip them to our Mork & Mindy type suspenders lmao...anyway I was with an older girl that my mom 'trusted' and she assured me she did this all the time and it was fine, it wasn't and we were busted :jail:...never so scared in my life! I was probably 9 or 10 and they took us back to a room and called my Mother, I was no longer allowed in K-Mart unless I was with her!)
Getting back to Jimi, I was just getting into music as I would hear my older brother playing his music from his room, RUSH, Led Zeppelin, Supertramp,
AC-DC and then Jimi! I was in love, never heard anything like it and I wanted to hear more! A few weeks later we were at my Uncle's home, he had more albums than I had ever seen and while I was going through them I found the Jimi Hendrix Experience album!!! It was like finding gold for me and I had to have it, I don't know why I just did not ask him to borrow it...he loved me and he would have probably given it to me!?! I stole it and could not wait to get home and hear all of it, I felt guilty but my need to have it overcame the guilt and I told myself I would return it the next time we visited! I never did as I did not know how to get it back into the house without questions. That was the very last thing I ever took, I ended up with so much guilt after doing that to someone I loved that it made me feel awful every time I looked at the album...but boy did I crank it up when I played it!!!
I think I should look for the album and wrap it for the next time we go to my Uncle Ed's house and tell him what I did all those years ago :blushing:, heck, he may have known all along and just waited for me to do the right thing! Thanks for letting me share my Jimi Experience!
